What a good day of football.
Some things that happened today and have proved the opinions of a vocal minoraty on here wrong.
Costa- played very well today, has got his spark back, brilliant solo effort for the goal. People who have been shouting about how useless he is now look quite silly, he was out for an injury a while ago and it obviously takes time to get back to full fitness and form which was why he wasn't doing well for quite a while.
Captaining Hazard-no sympathy from me, why would you captain a player that was originally a doubt regardless of form?? Pretty much every other option did better.
Benching Austin- also no sympathy, why would you bench someone who is on pens regardless of the fixture?
Rooney- people on here said to transfer him out because he was in midfield....he always does well at Christmas.
Sanchez- people said he would be rested don't captain him. Look what happened. Also people were going nuts because he missed a pen, get over it, I don't think I can think of one current PL player that hasn't missed a penalty.
I do love this site but there is a small minoraty who are very vocal and push there opinions very hard onto more inexperienced players, please stop it as your opinion is usually illogical and turns out to be wrong. The majority of people who post on here are very helpful, thank you as always, but to the very vocal minority, even though your opinion is relevant please tone it down a bit as you do influence the more inexperienced players myself include. I hope that you all had a merry Christmas!
While I agree there is a few on here who do tend to push opinions (and a mean very few), most of the time it's because they're asked for their opinions. You can't fault them for that.

There wasn't much wrong with Hazard(c) and on another day he gets a good double figure score
QPR have been rubbish away from home so there is definitely logic there.
What does him being good in other Christmas periods have to do with anything? However, I still think he was a good option before today.

I have an almost identical team, and also 1FT, except I have Downing instead of Siggy. We should just hold even though it is tempting to sell Bony who bummed us out. We should use that 1 FT for a known rotation rested player.
