Danny Welbeck is a doubt for Arsenal’s visit to St Mary’s. Everton’s Tim Howard is out for up to six weeks with a calf injury. Palace skipper Mile Jedinak is unavailable for the trip to Villa due to the upcoming Asia Cup. Yaya Toure confirms he was rested for the weekend draw at Burnley and is not injured, whilst James Tomkins misses the Hammers’ home clash with West Brom due to suspension.

Arsene Wenger has concerns over Danny Welbeck as Arsenal head to Southampton. The Gunners boss has conceded the forward may miss out due to a thigh problem, though Tomas Rosicky returns to the squad after being rested at West Ham.

Ciaran Clark (back) and Tom Cleverley (foot) will be assessed for Aston Villa’s home match with Crystal Palace, whilst Joe Cole is back in training and available for selection. Fabian Delph is ruled out for three matches due to suspension.

Palace are without skipper Mile Jedinak for the Villa clash – the midfielder has joined up with the Australian national team ahead of the Asia Cup.

Yaya Toure has refuted Manuel Pellegrini’s suggestion that he missed the weekend clash with Burnley due to a groin injury. The Ivorian has confirmed he was merely rested for the 2-2 stalemate and hopes to be involved against Sunderland.

Tim Howard is sidelined for up to six weeks with a calf complaint for Everton. Phil Jagielka, John Stones and James McCarthy will be assessed prior to the trip to Hull, though Tony Hibbert, Leon Osman, Steven Pienaar and Darron Gibson all remain out.

Bojan is set for hamstring scans ahead of Stoke’s home encounter with Man United. Mark Hughes has conceded he expects the Spaniard to miss out, though Jon Walters is expected to fully recover from the illness that forced him onto the bench last time out. The Potters’ boss has revealed he is set to contact the Senegal FA in an attempt to postpone Mame Biram Diouf’s departure to the African Cup of Nations until after the Gameweek 21 clash with Arsenal.

Seb Larsson has returned to training after sustaining a weekend ankle injury and “has a chance”, according to Gus Poyet. Liam Bridcutt won’t be risked, though, after he was forced off with a head injury on Sunday.

James Tomkins is ruled out through suspension for West Ham’s home clash with West Brom, though Carl Jenkinson is available again – he was ineligible to face parent club Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.

Swansea have confirmed Wilfried Bony and Ki Sung-yueng will play their final matches before departing for international duties tomorrow. The Welsh club will be without Jefferson Montero for up to a month after the Ecuadorian suffered a hamstring injury.

Ander Herrera and Adnan Januzaj are both back in training ahead of United’s trip to the Britannia, Louis van Gaal confirmed yesterday.

Leonardo Ulloa is available for Leicester’s trip to Anfield – the forward was replaced due to fatigue at the weekend, Nigel Pearson has confirmed. Andy King is sidelined for the Foxes and, whilst Jamie Vardy is available after serving a one-match ban, Paul Konchesky is sidelined for a similar timeframe.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream as breaking news unfolds.

Waste IMO as you will always play the first 3 with Naylor good cover. This close to WC I'd take
      A punt on an attacker.

Brom create chances very unlucky v Stoke. Chelsea are machines in big games they basically shut down Saints attack after they got caught.

    Gilks; Bertie, Hutton, Marney
    1FT; 3.8 itb

    1. Which 3 defenders to start? Guzan cover puts Hutton on the bench, but I'd rather have Bertie than Hutton in there.

yes but Sterling home v Leicester is juicy. My thinking is:

I don't expect all that many transfers - certainly not a load of big ones you're gonna want to fit in your team. You're better off playing it when you're ready, I.e. when you have a lot of changes to make. Don't make it tomorrow for the sake of it, and don't save it til the end for no reason either.

100% tomorrow. After the team let down against Burnley and Pell criticized their professionalism there is no way he'll not put out his full strength team

Ok that's more reassuring. Goes against the predicted team news so I was a tad worried.

Is owning Benteke enough of a differential not to risk the (C) with him?

Don't take note of the percentage of owner, just who you feel will score the most, if that's benteke then (c) him.

      It's tough. Thanks for responses.

I feel he is 'due' (i know, i know), especially with Jedinak out, managerless and they have had their comeback game already gone.... villa could tear them apart. It's a needed 3 points for them. My worry is I haven't been watching benteke for the past few weeks so how has he looked?

      (C) on Silva at the moment.

only off putting thing is villa have something like the least chances created and one of the lowest goal counts in the leagues pretty poor really

having said that every highlight of villa is him almost scoring!

That's a good sign. I've switched it to him for now - we will see if it's still there at 11.30 tomorrow. I think it just might be.

Like SW6 said below - in a week where a clear captain choice isn't standout - to punt on Tekkers who regardless of their scoring record should haul against a weak palace side.... It could hurl me up the board.

In a week where there is no standout captain choice captaining him could make him an even bigger differential though if you're confident he'll score well.

Start Foster or Heaton? I'm already starting Dummett which is making me swerve towards Foster.

Heaton's a much better option imo and I own Foster. Newcastle are without a manager & cisse is banned.
