    So, Pelle.

Bit of a donkey in real life but, in fpl terms, he's already shown he can produce the goods.

After tomorrow his fixtures look good and he is available at the relatively low price of 7.9m.

    Thoughts?

If he comes in for me it will be at Austin's expense. Pelle has better fixtures and is playing in a better team....

If QPR score it's 75% chance it's Austin. Not the case with Pelle.

Plus Austin is a much better player..

    Who to start?

    Pantilimon (tot)
    Krul (SOU)

    And for the defenders:

    Terry (swa)
    Alderweireld (new)
    Hutton (LIV)
    Wisdom (eve) / Cameron (lei)
    Baird (eve)

    Hi all. Please advise here.

    Guzan, Gilks
    Zabaleta, Cahill, Wisdom, Naylor, Clyne
    Hazard, Sanchez, Siggy, Sterling, Downing
    Austin (6.1), Costa (11.1), Kane
    2 ft, 3.0

    1. Aguero/Boyd in for Austin/Sterling..
    2. Aguero-Costa and 1 more FT (Maybe change Cahill or Zaba)
    3. Something else

Losing Costa for a week or two wont kill me I think.. so I am tempted to go with Option 2.

    Which one would you choose?
    2 WC left.
    Thanks.

Dreamteam players - Double figure GW scores.

I have starred their highest GW score and placed in order of total score:

    Ivanovic - 10,*12,11
    Terry - *15,*15
    Bertrand - *11
    Baines - 12,10,*15,11
    ===================================
    Hazard - 11,10,11,*14,10
Sanchez - 10,13,*16,*16,10 (game in hand)
    Fabregas - 11,10,*14
    Downing - 10,*13,10
    Siggy - *13,11,10,11
    Eriksen - 10,11,*13,*13
    Chadli - *15,10,*15
    Silva - 10,*16,14 (missed 6 games)
ADM - *14,11,13 (missed about 6 games and a game in hand)
    ===================================
    Austin - 13,10,*17
    Aguero - *19,13,16 (missed about 6 games)
    Costa - 12,*17,11
    Kane - 12, *18 (missed about 6 games)

Obviously there are a lot of other stats to consider, but from the numbers above the BEASTS in each position are:

DEF - Baines (Yes, that's right)
MID - Sanchez (Hazard is close behind)
    ATT - Aguero

What else can you deduce from these numbers? If you have Baines, will you be keeping him?

That's a tough one. Austin & Fabregas. Fabregas is Mr.Consistent and Austin is a grafter and proven goalscorer at a cut price and both will play every game.
Costa and Chadli are firecrackers and more unpredictable.

Why are FPL so lazy in updating some players' pictures? For instance Diafra Sakho still has a blank photo and he's been at West Ham since the start of the season. Other players like Silvestre Varela and Paddy McNair don't have a pic either. I know it's a pretty trivial thing but it's nice to have a player image to look at when browsing the site.

It's a double up either way isnt it but at least you'll have slightly more options to bench someone with a keeper/defender double up than 2 defenders

It's one of those FFS bandwagons that is inexplicable. I got sucked in too.

He is an attacking fullback in a Sunderland team that is now showing resilience in defence.

Yes it was resilient when he wasn't in it

He wasn't culpable alone. The entire defence looked in shambles. They have sorted themselves out since that 8-0 loss.

Yesterday with him they looked decent enough.

Sunderland looking better than they were back then and at 4.2 for a nailed on attacking threat he's not a bad option at all

Just don't expect anything more than 2 points. I would sooner go with an even cheaper option than rely on that

Cant see anything cheaper matching that really> I going with Baird too lol

Wasilewski has a similar average for 3.9

I dont fancy playing a leicester defender ever lol though I guess it would have been a good shout this week

You wouldn't play either every week they would have to be part of a rotation of course

Of course but I dont think Id ever be confident of a Leicester player

No confidence in either one of them really. Which is why I would choose the cheaper one

No, Pulis just came in so he's starting 1 game under the new manager.

And against West Ham, where, I imagine Pulis had some say in the team.

Is Costa absolute necessary for WC team? or going with Kun Kane Austin is good enough?

Should be good enough if you use the money better elsewhere

IMO having Costa in your FPL team at this stage is a pretty big leak.

Nothing apart from Aguero, a United attacker and probably a Chelsea double-up is "absolutely necessary" right now.

Me: 46pts with DDG & Sanchez left
Cup opponent: 56pts with Forster & Sanchez(C) left

Any chance for DDG to outscore Forster by more than 10? lol
