    q...

    should I do these changes? (or wait; the players who would be incoming all play tomorrow; right now, have just enough funds for these 3 moves)

    Austin --> Rooney
    Steven Taylor --> Pieters
    Clichy --> Alderweireld

    Who are you all going for in that 3rd premium midfielder spot?

    Seems like Hazard and Sanchez are a given, especially if you got them earlier in the season for cheaper. Looks like ADM, Fabregas and Silva are the main options for most people?

    1. In Bale We Trust

      ADM, then choose Fab or Costa.

            No I think the budget forwards will match him. They only need to score 1 goal for every 2 Costa scores just to match him. ie. Austin can blank one week then score the next with baps, and its the same as if costa scores both weeks. Costa is far from essential because the other strikers are producing

            They both have had two multiple goal games thus far this year. The 21 week history suggests equivalence of production with a pretty large sample. Unless you are talking about history of another year.

      I mean if you work out value per position he isn't when you can get keepers for 4.5 mill. That's the key to value.

      Chelsea have, in Mourinho's opinion, "two of the best 3 GKs in the world". He has said that he will use both and that it won't be a matter of Courtois in the PL and Cech in the Cups, he'll mix it up.

      And that's what you saw today.

          I was also thinking about his recent unexpected points away from home. Seems to me whenever we think we see a pattern in his returns, he pulls something like this.

            I suppose he's quite obliging most of the time tbf!

            I think he looks close to getting points in most games he plays, maybe he wasn't helped by Chelsea not starting very well today. I don't think there's many players who can be labelled predictable, closest would be Austin at home.

              Yeah, you have a point. I don't know why but I've always found it difficult to expect points from him, but I know full well what he's capable of. It's an odd one.

      Aren't they all? Is football. There are too few goals for reliable big poijntx each week. Not like fantasy hoops, hockey, or baseball.

    With swans away and city at home, are azpi owners switching to terry or taking a 2 week punt on another defence?

    Don't seem to be too many standout options for clean sheets next week. I already have Adrian.

    Any suggestions?

      i want to keep as long as his price doesn't look like dropping. works fine depending on what other defenders you have (i have Alderweireld, Wisdom, PvA and Hutton which isn't great by any means but passable IMO)

      how did his injury look though?

        Apparently it's minor. I've clyne, wisdom, hutton and zab. Not sure i want to play hutton or wisdom next week.

          ehh im leaning towards Wisdom. Aston villa might push forward more at home exposing them at the back given they haven't scored in foreverrrrr
