With Gameweek 21 done and dusted, we dig deep into the data in our regular Sunday evening article. A trio of in-form midfielders at Arsenal, Man City and Swansea are amongst tonight’s topics, whilst we also assess United’s alarming attack, Burnley’s raiding right-back and the main men for West Brom and Palace as Tony Pulis and Alan Pardew kick-start their respective stints at the helm with a victory.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

"If LvG doesn't finish at least 4th he'll have to go as well."

"I am not a fan of LVG,but i respect him and the job he has in front of him. i dislike his stubbornness especially pertaining his tactics - the dreaded 3-5-2 or 5-3-2 - it is very boring , stiff and quite frankly doesn't produce results, we had no choice when we had 41 injured players but now it just seems like the old man doesn't want to look like he has been making a wrong decision or perhaps he wants to look like a master tactician seeing as he doesn't even bother to stand on the sidelines and shout at his players ( which irks my soul) i mean what kind of coach just sits there and watches the game like a spectator?"

tbf until the Southampton game United hadn't lost in a long time. He was steadily getting results if somewhat unspectacular results. Saints away was always a tough test and I'd expect United to win the next 3 games with relative ease.

The only real difference I've seen between Moyes and Van Gaal so far is that when Moyes took over, the attitude to him meant he was imediately a valid target for criticism.

Loads of people on the other hand hailed Van Gaal as a genius or saviour before he'd even turned up at United, and so now those same people wont admit how wrong he's making them look every single week.

I think we played better football under Moyes. I think our performances were on average better. The difference this season is everyone else has done worse, and we've spent money on players who've won us a few more games in spite of us not derserving to win them.

Van Gaal has brought about no improvements whatsoever so far that I can see, aside from the ability to talk complete bollocks in a more convincing way.

Hey guys! WC activated, could really do with some help.

    Heaton Pants
    Ivanovic Bertrand Clyne [Wisdom Bruce]
    Fabregas Hazard Sanchez DiMaria [Boyd]
    Austin Kane Aguero

    0.3 ITB

My main worry is not having Costa. Do you think it's okay to go for Fab instead of Costa as it allows me to have a heavy defense & mid?

      Nice team.
Your Costa vs Fab is a difficult one. Many on here side with Fab, personally im on Costa and Haz Plus Terry.
Leave it as it is really, looks good.
If looking for pennies maybe Terry over Ivan and then upgrade Bruce?

That's what I'm on now, but I'm keen on WBA def, and don't like that Wisdom won't get much of a look-in with Terry Bertie and Clyne to be played most every week.

Which team do you like more

    A)

    Foster, Panti
    Terry, ALDERWEIRALD, Wisdom. PvA, CAMERON
    Adm, Hazard, Sanchez, Downing, BOYD
    Costa, Aguero, Kane

    Or, B)

    Foster, Panti
    Terry, BERTRAND, Wisdom. PvA, WASIL
Adm, Hazard, Sanchez, Downing, ALBRIGHTON (nailed!?)
    Costa, Aguero, Kane

It's basically Alderweirald + Cameron + Boyd VS Bertrand + Wasil + Albrighton. I could always downgrade Alder to Gardos in team A.

No idea what he's up to now, people need to play in their positions...ADM is not a striker. What happened to Falcao, he needs game time badly. United looked very disjointed up front which is amazing considering the talent they have

They aren't playing with wingers in the 532 formation so Januzaj doesn't stand a chance. LVG needs to bring back the wingers though. ADM will be class on the left flank

Yep 442 or bring back the diamond.

        ---------------DDG----------------
        Valencia - Jones - Rojo - Shaw
        --------------Carrick--------------
        ----Januzaj-----------------ADM
        ---------------Mata----------------
        ---Falcao------------Rooney--

The diamond makes too much since at the moment. Really surprised LVG didn't go with that now ADM is back. Unfortunately a diamond doesn't work for Januzaj. Herrera or Fellaini would be better suited in that formation

ADM would have played better instead of Shaw with Falcao or Rooney up top.

They had their best spell this season when Fellani was in there, Rooney needs go up fromt or play in the hole

currently looking at relying on this bunch when i play my wildcard after gw. 23. also included is a small run down on my choices.

    panty / foster
    hutton / terry / bertrand / clichy / wisdom
    hazard / sanchez / siggy / fabregas / boyd
    kane / giroud / aguero

gk: panty and foster rotate pretty well for the remainder of the season and as everyone has heard by know...the pulis effect, blah blah blah...

def: most likely start 2 heavies, thinking that chelsea and city will pick up their clean sheet capacity as the title race gets closer. then can rotate between the other 3 on any given day.

mid: first and foremost, sanchez and hazard are must haves. fabregas will keep points ticking over, contrary to those who say he has no second half of a season. siggy as quality fixtures and is key to swansea's success. boyd allows all other big hitters.

for: aguero is must. kane right now is a necessity due to his price, fixtures and form. giroud will hopefully just do his thing and sanchez should enable that to happen.

other options that i am flirting with include: lescott, koscielny, chadli, silva, austin and costa.

thoughts and opinions are more than welcomed. regards.

I like it , however i would not be surprised if Clichy sits out lots of those easy games either side of champ league, kolorov will get them

No such thing as an easy game for City's defence

He is arguably their worst defender imo. One of the most overrated defenders in the world, him and Hummels.

Have just put together a 352 team for the protected area of my blog, and was actually shocked at how good it looked. Taking Costa out and putting Barnes in instead made a massive difference, great defence and mids, and all i lost was Costa
    Made me reconsider 343

Hmm, fear is driving me towards getting Aguero in. But not sure how. For free, or take a punt. Will prob captain Kun too.

Want to keep WC for next week or week after.

    Guzan Elliot
    Terry P.Jones Clyne Wisdom Hutton
    Sanchez Hazard Silva Siggy Downing
    Costa Kane Austin

    3.8 bank, 1 FT

    A) Costa > Aguero(c) for free
    B) Silva, Austin > Chadli (SUN), Aguero (ars) for -4
    C) Silva, Austin > Zaha (bur), Aguero(ars) for a -4

Any way to get Fab and Kun in your side? Drop both Costa and Silva

Yea. Silva Costa > Aguero Fab is one I have been considering for the longest time. Will consider that on my WC...but for now, just focused on this GW.

Who is considering Chambers again now? Surely back in the team next week?

Definitely considering - rubbish player though. Still wouldn't trust their defence just yet.

Gunners D is awful...what ever the combination of players take that back line. Maybe Steve Bould and Adams want come back i'd consider it.

Problem = Used my wc & dropped from or 17k to 34. What a monumental phuk up.
Solution = looking at a 16-20 point trade rage

Worse still it has eliminated me from last man standing.

Repost from above in simplified form

    Which option is better?

    A) Gardos+ Cameron + Boyd (5th mid)
    B) Bertrand + Wasil + Albrighton (5th mid)

    RMWCT:

    Foster - Myhill
    Terry - Clyne - Cameron - Wisdom - PVA
    Hazard - Sanchez - ADM - Silva - JWP
    Kun - Austin - Kane

Another option is Silva/JWP --> Fab/Boyd, thoughts appreciated!

Personally I like the Fab and Boyd...3 triple che$ea cover will make not having Costa a nonfactor
And although Silva is in good form right now w/ Kun I think thats all the City coverage you need.
