Any support for a slightly different approach. Current thinking on the WC is
Foster, Myhill,
Terry, Berty, Clyne, PVA, Baird
Sanchez, hazard, Fab or ADM, silva, Siggy
Aguero, Austin, Kane
Austin and Kane are both great value, all the big midfields are covered and a strong defence. Siggy fixtures cover Austn and Kane vs CHE and SOU.
Shame about the points on the bech.

Don't do Front 8. You will end up with tears and regrets. Bench points already lead me almost suicide.

I'd move away from a front 8. Pick 7. Drop Silva.Thought the front eight was different as most go for a Boyd as a filler.
Probably the same except for the Fab/Austin or Costa/Boyd decision.
I would be happy with that but man, I'm warning you...the benched points will be a bitter pill to swallow. Makes you second guess yourself the following week.
Think I'd rather just have boyd and bank the money than siggy as 5th midfielder. Kane and Austin could get an injury or lose form, and maybe you'd want to upgrade. Fab>ADM
This was pretty much my original wildcard plan but having changed to 5 strong Mids over christmas I have had 4 red arrows in a row due to benching wrong players, so I pretty much back up what others are saying save yourself the headache every week and get a Boyd type player in midfield

While It looks good on paper picking the wrong player will lead to a downturn in points.

That 4th mid spot in B is still very much open imoAgreed, ADM wasn't that impressive yesterday
His finishing touch was lacking but as a soton fan and non ADM owner it was so stressful watching him play as his acceleration really got him into threatening positions. He was alsoplaying very far up the field. Though I would agree with you his shooting and set pieces the type were pretty average.

That is a real dilemma. I bought him at 10.5 and with so less TV as mine I won't be able to afford him later
Works both ways as Aguero will probably make the 0.3 rise this week just based on a 30min appearance...you lose 0.3 from Costa by selling, but you miss out on another 0.3 by delaying the Kun decision.

I have had my share of luck this season: Captaining Aguero against Spurs, not Benching Kane and a few other weeks where I just managed to make the right choices.
Even with a captain fail the last 2 weeks, I have still managed to climb into 7k leading my money league by 132 points.
Just wanted to say a big thank you to the regulars on here and the site itself for helping me understand the intricacies of FPL this season and making it such a great success.
I have no doubt whatsoever that having access to all the relevant statistics and getting endless information on players and teams, is the main reason for the majority of my green arrows.

Yeah, the money league has a lot of part timers and myself ( only really been playing seriously since half way last season ) One guy wins every year, practically, so to see him surrender the league on 26 Dec already made me all warm and fuzzy inside.

Thought about it - the old theory that he's the cheapest way into an expensive back line and all that. But with the BP system the way it is the GKs seem to be getting less points than their respective defenders, even with save points thrown in. And I've decided its a good strategy to not use a Chelsea slot on the GK.

Yes. Evans dropped this week with Blind back. When Rojo is back, fully expect Smalling to miss out, and Jones to be right side of a 3 man defence, or CB in a 4-man defence.
Reliable defender...well more so than than Evans or Smalling.

Does the WC transfer method of brining in only the highest transferred in this week, then swapping the night before for the actual team you want to select really work?
I always do this but have to admit, have never bothered to add up any price rises..I have tried it. But Not this year anymore mate.
The market is too slow this year players have to go up .2 for you to make anything on them and someone like Kane for example your going to want to keep anyway
