With gremlins in the machine, the clock was ticking on this week’s ScoutCast as Granville and I are hurried into service.

Displaying all the urgency and determination of Ade Akinfenwa at the end of season buffet, we waste no time in driving through the ScoutCast regulars, whilst weighing the merits of when to swoop for a certain “essential” Argentine.

While this week’s low fat episode may come as a treat for some, we’re working towards a return to the full fat, high cholesterol live Hangout from next week. Keep ‘em peeled for news on that.

For now, grab this rapid recording via this link or stream the swiftness via the player below…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Really don't understand this whole Southampton defence double up.. They are missing both wanyama and schneiderlin, 5.7m is enough for one Southampton defender imo

  14. The Governor
    • 12 Years

I'm wildcarding this week, and am pretty happy with my squad. But looking at this gameweek, I'm not really happy at all!

    Prime examples being:

The Villa/WBA rotation doesn't get off to a good start, having to either play Liverpool at home or Everton away.

Newcastle/Sunderland rotation isn't great either, with either Southampton at home or Tottenham away.

I want A Johnson in my team, but not for this week. Would much rather have Downing. But after that, West Ham fixtures turn and I'd switch to A Johnson. Though I don't like planning transfers when on a wildcard...

I guess I'll have to accept a poor week, and take the longer-term view. Hmm!

Is Downing your 4th or 5th mid?

      1. The Governor
        • 12 Years
        11 years, 1 month ago

No he's not in at all at the moment.

My 5th mid is Boyd. I can afford for my 5th to be Downing. But it just means I'll have to take a hit somewhere down the line to downgrade him back to Boyd, to upgrade elsewhere!

Danny Welbeck will be missing for a further two weeks.

Theo Walcott, Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil are ALL good to go this weekend against City.

Having said yesterday Arteta is out for 3 months, Wenger says it's 6 weeks today.

Wenger says he's not decided on keeper yet, but praises Ospina: "It's not down to individuals, must be the commitment of our team performance."

Wenger confirms Kristian Bielik is having medical, fee agreed.

sanchez & Wisdom - most nailed on game time.
have to wonder about how much game time Arsenal midfielders are going to get now there are so many fit again. 9 players chasing 5 spots.
