With gremlins in the machine, the clock was ticking on this week’s ScoutCast as Granville and I are hurried into service.

Displaying all the urgency and determination of Ade Akinfenwa at the end of season buffet, we waste no time in driving through the ScoutCast regulars, whilst weighing the merits of when to swoop for a certain “essential” Argentine.

    Here's a quick comparison to illustrate the Costa vs Fabregas debate...I could have either of these sets:

    Costa + Downing + Chadli + Bertrand + 0.3
    vs
    Austin + Fab + ADM + 4.5 DEF

    Please weigh in on that...I think Fabregas is the better way to go! Cheers.

        It would be Hutton or equivalent as my third DEF behind Ivan Wisdom and then two cheapos.

      Austin is on the same level as Costa(FPL wise) and even better probably. Fabregas is better than Downing especially considering Downing's awful fixtures, Chadli is better than ADM and Bertrand is better than a 4.5m DF.

    b) Dropped for Pocognoli
    c) replaced by a new player in the transfer window

    I know Demi thinks C. Haven't seen many B's. i'm still inclined to think A...but is that just wishful thinking. I'd LOVE to replace Wisdom for him on my WC. The extra 0.4m comes in very handy..
