These are difficult times for Granville. Sadly for him, his prediction that Diego Costa’s studs played into my hands along with Emre Can’s ankle proved correct – the Chelsea villain pushed me into a Gameweek 23 Wildcard and I cashed in.

It left Granville spitting feathers and 92-points behind but he remains defiant. Even with the millions draining from his squad via his active Wildcard, my resolute co-host is not giving up on keeping the season alive and the rivalry as bitter as ever.

We weigh up Granville’s latest options in his quest to close the gap: analysing the contest between Sturridge and Aguero for our place in our forward lines, check in on the fallout from the Sanchez injury, whilst wading through the usual regulars ahead of another Gameweek.

Pay your dues via this link or mark up the deficit via the handy player below…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Not a Pool fan at all, that was my point. I don't for a second believe the only thing that brought him to Arsenal instead of Liverpool was location.

Ah fair enough, it was a stab at pool fans who only think he went to arsenal because of the wife? I agree it is a ridiculous argument. Pick a top 4 team who have been in the knockouts of the Champions league for every season in memory or a team who got top 4 due to the outstanding contributions of one player who they were selling? Seems a no brainer to me without the added bonus of location.

            1. Somalion
              • 16 Years
              11 years, 28 days ago

Not so much a stab but yeah it frequently irritated me I have to say. Nothing against Liverpool, they did great last season but I expected him to choose Arsenal 100% regardless of location.

    Krul
    Ivanovic Clyne PVA
    Hazard Silva Cazorla Sterling Mane
    Aguero (c) Kane

    3 points
    a) Ivan to Zouma means could afford Sanchez if makes Leics game but do i want to use a Chelsea spot on Zouma mmm
b)Silva to ADM gives more balance but bored of getting burned by man u players
    c) Is Lloris worth the cash just for a few extra double week points mmmm

It seems to me (and has done for a few days) that its a rest period that the Arsenal medical staff are enforcing. Here's where Liverpool did the right thing with Sterling - send him somewhere hot for a few days and he can't keep badgering AW to let him play.

Hang on Wenger hasn't said he is def playing....and has many other midfield options!

I've still got him but am seriously contemplating a switch to cazorla for gametime

      He's still 'unlikely' to play.

But yesterday he was not playing.
