Out of interest I don't suppose there any stats available for past winners seasons? Where they were at certain points of season etc....
I assume that anyone outside the top 1k now has no chance of catching the guys at the top? II've been stuck in more or less the same rank bracket since GW4 now!

Who are you thinking for this GW ?Mr Jared, if there is something I know... don't take captain's advice from me. Although, you may say... "crap, this guy has seriously dud luck and it should change anytime..." so therefore, he may pull a rabbit from a hat.
What I can tell you - be very wary of captaining a man back from injury, Costa, Aguero, Sanchez - have all had the same result... my lesson this year for sure.

64 points lost.I just took a quick peek to test a theory that the top guys are the ones lucky enough to nail the captain each week. Just the opposite. In the last 6 gameweeks, the number one guy's 'best' captain was Aguero for 5 points! The rest were 2s and 3s.
Now I can't blame my uselessness on bad luck.The only logical explanation is Extra Terrestrial life... i.e. Ancient Aliens.
