Tottenham entertain fierce rivals West Ham in Sunday’s midday kick off, offering Fantasy managers an opportunity to scout potential candidates for the Lilywhites’ upcoming double Gameweek 28.

Harry Kane – who’s only failed to score in two of his last 10 starts for Spurs – remains the most popular forward in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) and ranked fourth in our Captain Poll this week. Meanwhile, only Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez (12) has scored more goals from midfield than Christian Eriksen’s nine thus far – the Dane drops to the bench today, however. Moussa Dembele is also on one or two radars as a possible budget midfield prospect after serving up a goal and two assists in the last three Gameweeks.

Sam Allardyce’s men will go in search of their first league win away from Upton Park since Gameweek 14, as defensive duo Winston Reid and James Collins return from injury. In the wake of Andy Caroll’s season-ending surgery, Diafro Sakho (one goal in last seven appearances) and Enner Valencia (without a goal in 13 outings) shoulder most of the goalscoring burden, and will be encouraged by the fact that Tottenham have managed just two shut-outs in the last 10 Gameweeks. Meanwhile, Stewart Downing’s ownership will want more from the 30-year-old midfielder: he’s tallied just one goal and a single assist in his last eight outings.

terrible terrible performance by spurs back 4. I mean bad positioning and horrible build up. what happened to that great young verthongen i remember? and why do they let dier do any passes forward? well, rose almost scored to be fair and the forwards did some okay counter pressing already. reconsidering getting a spurs defender in for dgw. kane/eriksen enough cover. if eriksen plays...

Europa League - Round of 32
    Fiorentina v Tottenham Thu 26 Feb 18:00
    League Cup
    Chelsea v Tottenham Sun 1 Mar 16:00
    Premier League
    Tottenham v Swansea Wed 4 Mar 19:45
    Premier League
    QPR v Tottenham Sat 7 Mar 15:00

4 games in 9 days and the DGW games are the last 2 of those 4.

I'm really not sure which Spurs players will actually play both games, especially if Spurs make the EL QF which is 5 days later.

Lloris probably. Walker/Vertonghen probably. Eriksen maybe. Kane probably. Can't see any others. The more I look at it the less convinced I am about bringing Spurs players in specifically for that GW.

Yeah but think about it. He's sure to play the first two, they are vital games for Spurs. If he plays the other two as well that's 4 games in 9 days. That's a lot to ask of a midfielder. A bit easier for defenders maybe.

No problem, people are a lot better at picking C's than they give themselves credit.

I think it's because when you choose a good one you just feel you've kept parity and when you don't you feel awful. Partly due to here imo.
