They hardly played that badly in fairness to them they were unlucky

    2. Walsh
      • 12 Years
      11 years, 9 days ago

His hand was forced having to discipline Mane. Can only assume Schneiderlin was not up to fitness for 90 minutes. Really can't fault him for too much past that myself.

    3. The Light Knight
      • 14 Years
      11 years, 9 days ago

Why would you expect them to line up any differently?
Remove the two outliers at home vs the north east teams, and they average pretty much 1 goal a game

    4. Long Juan Silva
      • 11 Years

There was nothing wrong with that line-up. So obvious you're a Mané owner.

He played well in the first half. Who's to say he can't be better after 1 game. It's not like he went out and started full-backs in wing positions or something stupid. It didn't come off, but I'll say it again - there was nothing wrong with the line-up Koeman picked

Went to watch my lad play his footy this morning at 11.00am near The Trough of Bowland...I've never been as piggin cold in my life...14 year old lads playing footy in nothing more than mud in the driving snow....and then they wonder why kids pack up sport !!...sheesh.

Grass football in these months is ridiculous.

When I played Saturday morning you had to get up eat, drive to the game knowing full well itd be called off but you had to go there first, poison.

I remember playing in a school match in driving sleet - the U/12s were playing on the next pitch. There was kid standing up against the post balling his eyes out. After about 30 minutes of sleet in the second half their ref abandoned our match - good bloke - we were 0-1 down. The match with the balling kid was called off too.
In another sleety (blokes) match many years later a guy in our team broke several ribs - they were sticking out in a big lump and it looked horrendous. The ambulance took 35 minutes to arrive and the paramedic told him "we can't do anything to help". The poor sod's lips were blue and I felt really sorry for him.

Sleet is the worst weather of all.

is it insane to leave a player in starting 11 who won't play in order to have 2ft for the dgw?

No. But why are you reluctant to take a hit?

No not really, loads of people won't have a full XI out.

I'm trying to figure this out myself. What if the player you get gets 1 pt 🙄

Yes. If they 100% wont play.

      0 + 2 that way.
      No better than 1+1

But your way has higher rotation risk

Any opinions whether Walcott will start next gw? Will need a hit to replace.

In the same boat. Could do with him not starting in the Champions league.

If he doesnt start in Europe, then I would say he has a strong chance.

    A. Adm
    B. Shelvy
    C. Coutinho
    D. Nasri

After this GW one of the above will be Eriksen.
