Is ADM really that bad?
If you look at the games where he has played 60 minutes plus he has 90 points from 16 games - around 5.6 points per game. That's not too terrible is it?
I brought him in with my winter wildcard and he has done OK since then. My plan was to remove him for Eriksen next GW but a big haul this weekend might change that. Although United's fixtures are taking a turn for the worse soon.
I think the main thing I have against him is actually down to LVG screwing around with formations and positions, to the detriment of ADM and other United players.ADM isn't a goal scorer, thats his biggest problem, at that price it just isn't worth it. He will get assists, I'll give him that but you can't expect him to get assists every game.
You can't expect Hazard and/or Sanchez to get goals in every game either. I don't really see the relevance of that.
It seems to me that he isn't as bad a pick as I thought. People on here talk about players being "explosive". I don't care about that at all unless I am planning to captain someone. Otherwise it's points over a period of games that matters.If fergie was boss of this team adm and falcao would be great picks
The reason explosive players are better is because in fantasy terms, you tend not do keep players over the course of a season, but instead for patches where they have good fixtures.

Also if you look at (value) for the season, he is one of the worst performing expensive mids. He's doing better than Yaya and Ramsey but every other top mid is better value
Value(season) would have to be up there with the worst stat available on the FPL site.

He never said season, he said a period of games. This implicitly implies that he'll actually be playing for those games, not out injured for half the time.
Although I do agree that ADM isn't a great option.I think we shouldn't forget how flukey those early goals were in early season as well. That certainly inflated his points total.
What about Fabregas?
Tons had him over the first 15 gameweeks or so but he only scored one goal during that period at a similar price to ADM.
Double standards.Fabregas always tends to have a low scoring 2nd half of the season. Not sure why that is the case but I do wonder if its his deeper lying position in midfield that is finally catching up with him.

Moreno and PVA were dropped in the last game and their teams got clean sheets and won. Cisse hasn't nailed down a spot all season and I don't see why he would suddenly become a regular 90min man now.
Rodgers rectified that mistake at HT. Moreno will start against City, I'm 99% certain.
Cisse will always be iffy with his constant injuries needing to be monitored.

This. Moreno didn't get dropped he's been outstanding. It was rotation and he came on at halftime and made a huge difference.

Valencia to hug the touchline and put crosses in, with rafael able to come inside a bit in attack and join midfield. On the other side dima to go wide or cut in with shaw overlapping. Rooney to work his arse off up top. Pulling cb's out of position, dropping into midfield, and making stuff happen. Falcao would have one job, ghost into space and get on the end of moves and put it in the net. If you buy falcao this is how you use him. Tactically he's useless and if you want a tactical striker you don't buy falcao. Fergie could get van niistelroy type returns from himEasy, he never would have bought Falcao, Fellani or Herrera

In this formation though he can play the wing or have the freedom to cut inside as more of a playmaker with shaw giving width. Basically a free role from out left with shaw, rooney, blind all adapting their position depending where he goes. Nothing like tony v on the other side who'd play as a winger

Falcao's first touches have been pretty bad..
He's average in a lot of ways. Every team he's been in including the national team play better football tactically without him. If you use him right though there's no better poacher in the game. You basically give cede a certain amount of possession and control of the game by playing him but he makes up for it with a goal or two. Lvg is forcing him to play the total football malarky and it's such a waste
