Our first delve into the members data this week sees us assess the recent displays of Sergio Aguero, Diego Costa and Olivier Giroud and take a look at the “Sherwood effect” on Christian Benteke as Villa prepare for double Gameweek 31. We also check out the form of Swansea and Tottenham’s playmakers as the fixtures turn kind for both clubs.
-
Which of these for the next three gameweeks...
A. Forster, Dawson, Costa
B. Courtoius, Alderweireld, Giroud
Thanks!-

B
-
Would you choose this even if it means to be 'Costa(less)'?...
-
Costa hasn't been essential for a while.
-
-
-
...so would you double up Chelsea or South.defence? In case Chelsea, cannot get Costa, which could cause trouble...

Guys, advice please with 1 FT & 0.2m itb
Panti
Clyne / Ivanovic / Pva
Haz / Sanchez / Eriksen / Silva
Kun / Kane / Austin
(Krul / Walters / Bruce / Wasi)
A) Save FT and play Pva
B) Pva -> Naughton-
A
-
Save
-
thanks for the reply guys
-
Save the transfer, it'll be worth more next week. I know you're sacrificing a bit of security, but I thinnk that it's worth the risk.
-
even am thinking the same mate, but my immediate concerns are many such as Walters, Pva & Wasi to name a few
-
yep, but you're still going to make the transfers, you'll just have one weeks more knowledge, and having 2ft might offer better transfers.
-
agree with you mate...what do you reckon should be my next moves if I save FT?
-
-
-
-
-
Coutinho out for mane or siggy? Probably mane no?
-
I'd say Mane.
-
it's very close between the two of them. If siggy had been more convincing on monday I was going to bring him in, as it is, I'm bringing in mane.
-
-
-
any sense in looking to bring in austin/benteke with a front 3 of kane aguero giroud?
-
Not really ... certainly not before this GW
-
i meant for the dgw
-
Possibly Giroud > Benteke considering Arsenal have a blank a few weeks later.
-
i am considering giroud to austin for the dgw only -- I will almost certainly do it, both for free (yes, there's an element of risk in the second transfer)
-
-

Just a quick note ... whilst we're near the top of the page ... to encourage all posters on this site to change their name (temporarily) to include Doosra's favourite number: 42
I'm sure he'd be touched by the support he's received via the lovely folk of the FFS Community.
GWS Doosra!!-
Please pass on to future posters also lads ... appreciate it!

Changing it now.

Krul & Foster are my goalies.. with Foster injured.. planning to do Foster >> Guzan for FT
Krul vs ARSENAL, sunderland, liverpool
Guzan vs SWANSEA, (manutd & QPR), spurs
go ahead? or stick with Krul?-
I'm just sticking with Krul seems a shame wasting a transfer on a gk with so many dgws on the horizon. I understand Guzan has a double but don't see a cs in either game for him
-
If you have no other concerns the guzan transfer makes sense
-
-
Bench one of Kos, Fonte or Austin?
-
Not Fonte!! 😯
I'd bench Kos.-
^ classic ... one man's trash is another's treasure!
-
😆
-
-
Kosc
-
Currently benching Kos but have this sick feeling he is going to bang in a header and keep a cs for max bonus!
-
is there no-one else?
-
Team is
Krul
Terry, Ivan, Fonte
Silva, Eriksen, Hazard, Manè
Aguero, Kane, Austin
Foster, Kos, Pva, Cork -
it is a close call, but kos is the answer, i think
-
-
That's what Fonte's doing.
-
You giving Fonte the armband 😆
-
You won't be laughing on Sunday 😉
-
Best of luck mate

Cheers 🙂

Let me guess, you managed to save enough money for the sex change and will be going in for the operation next week?

Why would I need any change? Can do it all as is.

Krul
Clyne | Terry | Wollscheid | Koscielny
Hazard | Silva | Sanchez
Kane | Austin | Aguero
Foster | Boyd | Puncheon | PVA
1 FT & 0.8 ITB
what are the pressing transfers now?-
I think Foster with Krul's fixtures..or you can get a DGW31 player
-
-
Bench one of Bellerin, Naughton or Rose?
-
Bellerin
-
really? why is that so? I am siding towards Naughton for now
-
You think Bellerin will start?
-
-
-
naughton. bellerin is surely no.1 now (until debuchy returns)
-
This
-
-
-
Foster to:
A) Speroni or Begovic (Allows me to do Ameobi to Phillips next week)
B) Adrian
C) Ospina
other keeper Krul-
Begovic
-
thanks! but Speroni rotates really well
-
They dont keep clean sheets :/
-
that's also true..
-
-

C.
But im actually thinking of going Fabianski

@Innsie
Bit of advice... I have Foster/Myhill. What do you think about Foster to Guzan for -4? Will I make the -4 back?
If I stay as I am I will have Myhill v City (a) and then v QPR (h).
If I take the hit I will either have Guzan v Swansea (h) this week and then v Utd. (a) and QPR (h) in the DGW or Green v QPR (h) this week and then v WBA (a) and Villa (a) next week.
After that it makes no difference as I will wildcard in GW34.
A) Stick
B) Take the hit for Guzan
C) Take the hit for Green
Thanks!-
If you went Foster/Myhill why are you worried about it?
-
I'm not, I'd have played Foster under normal circumstances but the DGW presents an unexpected opportunity. Just a question of whether the hit is worthwhile.
-
A hit for a GK is always a bad idea.
-
-
-
I'm considering the same for free and not convinced it's worth it. Not for a hit for me
-
Thx both. I am tending to think the same.
QPR have the best fixtures over the 2 GWs but don't tend to keep clean sheets. It probably is only +1/-1 either way to be honest.
-
-
Hey Ruth, sorry for the late reply.
I'd probably take the hit for Guzan to be honest. I reckon you'll get your 4 points back over the next 2 weeks.-
No probs and thx.
I'll probably just see how I feel come Saturday.
-
-
-
I didn't watch the arsenal game who was the most dangerous midfielder?
A) Sanchez
B) Ramsay
C) Ozil
D) carzorla-
Ramsey once he came on but that may not be a fair comparison as he was bound to have a lot of energy with only 20 minutes to play.
Cazorla had a good game from deeper, Ozil was fair and Sanchez was probably the weakest from what I saw.
-
-
Tekkers is bloody interesting for GW31.
-
Especially if he scores vs your squad??
-
I wouldn't be surprised. And then he has QPR at home.
-
Doubt it if Carrick stays put
-
-
-
lol
-
He is v interesting. Just got to think if he's worth shifting giroud, aguero or kane for.
-
And more worrisome, getting him back out at some point.
-
True. My plan was to carry giroud to the double and bench for 33. Giroud to tekker to giroud feels wrong but if done for free could well work. All this has made me think one thing, save ft this week
-
-
-
-
Any obvious/stand out change here?
Panti 4.0
vert lescott Wollscheid Fonte pva
hazard Walters Eriksen Caz Silva
Aguero Kane Giroud
0.7 ITB 1FT
Many thanks in advance!-
Save but laters Walters right down to fund defence upgrades
-
thankss will caz and wolls start... is my concern
-
If wollo doesn't you are ok. If caz doesn't yeah a problem. Maybe a sign to get rid of caz? Don't care about underlying stats etc, if doubts over pitch time at this stage of our season it's a poor pick
-
Why wouldn't Caz play?
He's brilliant and Wenger loves him-
rotation...
-
He's had his rest last weekend
-
-
-
-
Wollscheid should start, he was very close to being ready last weekend.
-
-
-
-
How many players fromt the 31 dgw?
-
1 at max
-
1, maybe 2 at max
-
Yun 😀
-
-
-
Think I'm doing Puncheon to Sinclair.
-
Nzogbia for attacking potential, Delphi for nailed-on-ness, Bacuna a risk when Hutton back.
-
Mane all the way
-
Philips aint bad
He's currently my 5th mid -
Sinclair if anything
-
-
Should I do Austin to Giroud now?
Or maybe after QPR’s DGW?-
After the DGW
-
-
When will be the draw for next round of FFS cups?
-
Have 2fts which trnsfer should i make this week
1)heaton to guzan(panti is d othr keeper)
2)terry to ivan
3)pva to toby(alrdy hv bertie)
4)eriksn to silva-

UFPL question For 1 week loan, who would people recommend - Sinclair, Nzogbia, Bacuna or Delphi?
-
N'Zogbia
-
Thanks, was thinking the same.

How many cleanies will QPR keep in the next 3 - EVE, wba, avl
Want to know if it's worth getting Green in for Foster-
Think Guzan a better shout and still not 100% convinced on that.
-
£0.1 short of getting Guzan 😐
-
-
1 imo.
-
None
-
Green is useless
-
Haha thanks for the honest reply

-
None

agreed

Champs league fantasy question
Would you captain Messi tonight against MCI
Or stick with Ronaldo (18pts)?-
Stick
-
Cheers
-
-
Messi but it's marginal. City must chase the game.
I have Brahimi as my (c) with 22pts and am sticking.-
Brahimi captain nice.
Yeah was thinking that city will pull an Arasenal and play their hearts out or get completely walked over by Barca
-
-
Stick. Not worth the risk
-
-

Am I good 2 go?
Panti
Clyne - Bertie - Terry
Punch - Cazorla - Hazard - Silva
Kane - Giroud - Aguero
(Mannone - Hutton - vAa - Boyd) -
Why are people going after Guzan/Green?
Both Villa and QPR play attacking football, none are concerned with keeping CS..If you want to stock their players for DGW look at Midfielders or Strikers...getting their Defensive players is useless.-
It's the dgw fever Moin and it's catching up. And some like me have got Foster, who can easily be sold to get in either Guzan or Green. Not really worth getting one of their attacking players except Benteke and Austin and maybe Agbonlahor for the double.
But you wouldn't want to sell your better players for more than 1 or 2 of them and getting rid of them from the attacking spots will be another headache, whereas, you can just bench their defensive players after the dgw.
To conclude, I think it's not worth having more than 1 of their attacking assets and maybe a defensive player for a punt-
I also have Foster but I'm planning to play Krul for the next 2 weeks and then change Foster after that..will look at both AVL and QPR players this week and use 2 FTs next week...
-
This. It is only Foster's injury and Myhill's bad fixture this week that is making me consider it.
Otherwise I'll just bring Benteke in next week.
-
-
Rooney to Agbonlahor is tempting 😛
-
-
Bench two of Bellerin, Naughton, Rose or Wollschield?
