When Kevin Anderson’s workmates convinced him to put together a Fantasy Football squad the day before the season kick-off, little did they know that they’d unleashed a monster.

Eight months later, Kevin sits just three points off the top, £30,000 prize, in the Sky Sports game, having never played Fantasy Football. Regardless of the outcome, that’s a debut season to remember.

Kevin was our guest on this week’s live ScoutCast Hangout, joining Granville who made a return from his brief sulk hiatus, and Jonty to complete Tuesday night’s quartet.

    I am 43 pts behind the leader of my cash ML and he has got Giroud, Kane, Costa as his front 3

    however I am trying to cut his lead by bringing in Benteke as my DGWer

    but my dilemma is who should I take out for Benteke

    Costa or Aguero

    I'm thinking Costa at the mo because I have a feeling that Jose will rest him against Stoke and QPR
    and then buy him back in time for GW33

    Any ideas about this plan would be appreciated

    *Sanchez, Hazard (C), Eriksen, Silva,
    Aguero, Austin, Kane.

    *Defence: Stones should go. To Ivanovic? Need to do Sanchez to Mata, then, on the other FT. (Not very keen on that with Skrtel out). Eriksen to Mane?

    Some ideas please?

        Yeah I'd be keen to sell Bellerin. Just don't fancy many of the potential replacements though. A Leicester defender doesn't really appeal.

            I don't have any Southampton defenders so I wouldn't mind upgrading Bellerin to Toby. I'd need to get cash out of Krul or Moses to make that upgrade in future though.

                In some ways I regret not getting Myhill last week. The extra cash could be very handy. In saying that Mignolet just had a saved penalty so I guess that worked out well too. Liverpool has been very tight though and even though I like the idea of tripling up on WBA I also want a piece of all the tight defences, including Southampton and Liverpool.

        Thats news to me. Didn't think he could be suspended for that though 😕 seems a bit rough

        Not a bad suggestion though and keeping Ozil on the bench, I have considered it. Will be an option if I think Ozil won't play, but at this stage I think he will.

          I don't think he will get suspended, but Wenger hate it when players go off and party etc., so he might punish him by putting him on the bench. I have Ozil myself and I can't decide whether to keep or not.

        Funny, Sigurdsson was the one I was leaning towards in the last fifteen minutes. 😉
        I want to do that as well, but then that will stop me from doing Austin to Costa, and I can play 3 defenders with easy fixtures till GW35.
