The Scoreboard presents the Fantasy Premier League information you need from the day’s matches all on one screen, including the current top five BPS (Bonus Point System) standings from each match (potential Bonus Point earners are in bold). Actual Bonus Points will be shown when added – all points are provisional until then.

Gameweek 31

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

68 with Pantillimon, Vertonghen, PVA, Eriksen, Kane, Aguero and Austin (c)

Bellerin on the bench in case PVA is dropped

Sadly it's effectiveness might not be as good as it might have been last season.
First time I've kept it in my sweaty pocket this long....

For those who were going to do Austin -> Costa, what are you doing now?

Get Giroud despite the blank, or get another budget option?

    1. Saniul

If Costa is out for 3 weeks, I'll just do Austin -> Remy.
Otherwise, keep Remy for one more week and assess.

      Did Bellerin > Naughton

I'm going to get into the Hull team only to be sacked in my first training session when I end Meyler's career with the kind challenge he gave Kyle today. No coincidence that is the same man which started on Pardew last season. He's not even a good player. He's rubbish.

Need a Kane blank this week as a non- (c)er. 99% ownership, and 32% (c). Average increases by 1.31 in top 10k for every point he gets.

On the other hand, would love a couple of Aguero goals, need him to get back in form here. 70% ownership, and 12% (c) - would gain from his points too.

      I like it.

Many are being cautious, but it reckon he'll start the next 2 and could easily be a DGW hit if Costa is still out, which could easily happen given its the same injury

Would you not captain players with similar scores, e.g. Hazard, Sanchez, Kane, Aguero, Costa, if they had a DGW?

          Of course,
Austin away to WBA was supposed to be a 2pointer !
Austin away to villa was supposed to be a 6pointer !

Austin went into a DGW with 5 goals against the 2 teams from the earlier albiet home fixtures, can't say it wasn't tempting.

Of course I can't - that's a normal GW. This one, however, was a DGW. Just going with the odds, that's all.

          • 14 Years

Fair enough. The DGW sure did swing it but he was never predicted to get that kind of score against a team who almost never concedes at home.

      1) He wasn't the forth highest scoring FPL player before this game
      2) Aguero, Kane and Hazard all had/have great fixtures.
      3) He hadn't scored for three games
      3) We don't all have Austin in our squads anyway.

      1. Berbalove
        • 16 Years
        11 years, 1 month ago

        1) No, I never said so.
        2) True, but it was still only one fixture. I'd argue that two medium fixtures are better than one great.
        3) That's not that important - look at what he has done over the season
        3) (or is it 4?) Of course, if you don't have him, I can understand captaining him would be difficult. However, given his reasonable price and DGW, I'd say he should have been a prime target for many a squad this time around.

I'm quite bemused by Nevilles comments on Sterling. He said Sterling wouldn't get in to either Chelsea's team or City's as Costa and Aguero are better. Yet, he's not a centre forward. He's been playing said role due to injuries, not because that's his best position.
