The penultimate match of Gameweek sees in-form Palace welcome defending champions City to Selhurst Park in tonight’s 8pm kick-off. Having won three of their last four league matches, Alan Pardew’s side will fancy their chances of breaching a backline that’s managed a single shout-out in their previous eight road trips.

For the Eagles, Glenn Murray carries the main threat after bagging four goals and an assist in his last four league matches. Alan Pardew’s attacking midfield three are all likely to pose the champions problems, too – Wilfried Zaha is looking to score for the third successive Gameweek, whilst Jason Puncheon and Yannick Bolasie have both provided three assists in the last four.

Sergio Aguero’s domestic form has persuaded over 114,000 FPL managers to part company last week. The Argentine has a single assist in his last four but, having scored for his country in a 2-1 win over Ecuador in the international break, he’ll he optimistic of a return to form. David Silva, meanwhile, will be looking to continue the sort of displays that have harvested four goals and an assist in the last five as Manuel Pellegrini’s side attempt to close the gap at the summit to four points behind Chelsea. City welcome back Yaya Toure in one of five changes from the side that won against West Brom last time out, with Edin Dzeko handed the chance to impress alongside Aguero up top.

Who comes up with these stats? Yaya Toure's goal was a pretty big chance. Aguero's shot that hit the post was a big chance, as was his shot soon after that went slightly wide. And Yaya Toure's chip was going in until Speroni made an improbable save.

Disappointing to see City playing at the end as though they don't care very much. Not much passion or desperation. Looking like a team of tired mercenaries.

hmmm... some sympathy with that sentiment, wish we had played full strength from the start. Mankini and now Pelle are both guilty of that - may well be the downfall again.
