The penultimate match of Gameweek sees in-form Palace welcome defending champions City to Selhurst Park in tonight’s 8pm kick-off. Having won three of their last four league matches, Alan Pardew’s side will fancy their chances of breaching a backline that’s managed a single shout-out in their previous eight road trips.

For the Eagles, Glenn Murray carries the main threat after bagging four goals and an assist in his last four league matches. Alan Pardew’s attacking midfield three are all likely to pose the champions problems, too – Wilfried Zaha is looking to score for the third successive Gameweek, whilst Jason Puncheon and Yannick Bolasie have both provided three assists in the last four.

Sergio Aguero’s domestic form has persuaded over 114,000 FPL managers to part company last week. The Argentine has a single assist in his last four but, having scored for his country in a 2-1 win over Ecuador in the international break, he’ll he optimistic of a return to form. David Silva, meanwhile, will be looking to continue the sort of displays that have harvested four goals and an assist in the last five as Manuel Pellegrini’s side attempt to close the gap at the summit to four points behind Chelsea. City welcome back Yaya Toure in one of five changes from the side that won against West Brom last time out, with Edin Dzeko handed the chance to impress alongside Aguero up top.

    Here's the thing with Aguero

I see it a little like Sanchez. A lot shipped him due to a number of blanks for a high cost, then suddenly he delivers a double digit haul in game he wasn't expected to

Something similar is happening with Kun

I know there's a reason managers are paid big money and we're just armchair fans but how can Pellegrini not see that Aguero doesn't influence the game when he has to come deep. He needs to be playing off the shoulder.

Navas is terrible, even Milner would be a better choice.

This has probably been done 1000 times, but I am sitting here watching people write off City players - Aguero especially - and I couldn't help thinking that he would still be my first choice in a premiership XI. I then tried to choose an XI and I found it virtually picked itself apart from left back and especially number 10. This would be mine …

    Courtois
    Ivanovic Terry Skrtel Azpilicueta
    Matic Toure
    Ozil
    Sanchez Aguero Hazard

Ozil is very underrated - best number 10 in the league in my opinion - often gets played oop where he is far less effective.

Looks about right, hard to choose between Courtois and De Gea though

      Clyne at RB perhaps

Coin toss between Ozil or Fabregas... Depends on what you're looking for in that midfield role
