Ironic thing is although this week has killed my season it has also made it interesting in cash league, 97pt lead down to 44 in one gameweek.
Was it a mistake benching Zamora?

No, the mistake was owning him.

    Pants
    Ivan, Terry, Koscielny
    Sanchez, Hazard, Eriksen, Mane
    Kun, Kane, Austin

    Krul, Boyd, Dawson, Wolly

    2FT, 1.5m

    tear it apart pls lads

Pants is pants, Chelsea aren't keeping cleanies, Kos, Austin and Sanchez have blanks coming up, Eriksen isn't producing, Mane isn't starting every game, Kun is out of form, Kane blanked last week, Krul/Newcastle are a shambles, Boyd won't score often, WBA just conceded 4 goals to QPR, Wolly is injury prone and Stoke have nothing to play for...

Apart from that, Hazard is a good pick.

I'd sell Kos or Austin. Ideally keep a FT so you have two for the blank week.

            • 14 Years
            10 years, 10 months ago

Yeah the prob is i have 3 Chelsea and if i sell Austin it would only be for Remy.

Selling Kosc feels like a bit of a waste this week if fit esp when i have Dawson w/LEI on the bench.

              • 12 Years
              10 years, 10 months ago

Was thinking Kosc > Saints defender would give you a slightly better option for this week and gets rid of a player before his blank.

I was thinking about Terry/Austin to Berty/Remy but that could definitely backfire. My problem with selling Kosc is that even though he has a blank i have still have decent defenders for that week anyway and he could be a good player to hold onto for the dgw

Wanted another opinion on this lot for this week. 2FT and 3.2 mill in the bank. Already decided probably keeping Naughton on bench for rest of season and riding out the Skirtel suspension.

    Myhill (Panti)

    Terry Bertrand PVA

    Mane Eriksen Sanchez Hazard

    Kane (c) Austin Sergio

    Boyd Skirtel Naughton

    Mane - Hazard - Cazorla - Silva
    Kane - Austin - Aguero

    Mannone - PvA - Boyd - Hutton

    1FT

I've got this funny feeling that Remy isn't going to be a good pick. Don't ask me why, but it's a hunch. I think Hazard is going to be the main player to benefit from Costa's absence and I'd be comfortable captaining him most weeks from here on in.

    1. Nabs Kebabs
      • 14 Years
      10 years, 10 months ago

I agree that Hazard will benefit greatly and be an excellent (c) option. However i do think Remy is bound to get in the points aswell.

        • 12 Years
        10 years, 10 months ago

I dunno, maybe the odd goal here and there but I've seen a lot of people with high expectations for him and I reckon they'll be let down. Surely Mou needs to tighten up the defence and focus on that for the run-in? Also I can see Remy getting subbed around the 70 min mark in the games he starts... If he gets injured then Chelsea will only have Drogba left as a striking option so it wouldn't surprise me to see Mou being a bit cautious with Remy.

        1. tokara
          • 11 Years
          10 years, 10 months ago

this makes more sense about over-playing Remy

Oscar is definitely out since Mouri had considered him "useless"

Only left Willian / Fabre if the former gets to play the no.10 again

i hope Chelsea could jus park the bus for the run in so my Ivan/Terry gets the bacon points!

That's actually one of the things that makes Remy less of a risk for me. The fact that I'll be captaining Hazard anyway.

I'm not expecting miracles from Remy but if he gets to play in both games in the double I'm happy to own him.

but having Drogba on the field offers options

    Removing Benteke, Austin and Kos.

    DDG (McCarthy)

Terry Bertrand Oshea ( Taylor, Clark)

    Ozil Hazard Erikson SIlva (Boyd)

    Whatcha reckon?

    A) Save
    B) Benteke -> Remy/Gomis/Murray

I was all over B) before last night (the cash saved with Gomis/Murray enables Sinclair -> Siggy in GW33), but Benteke looks back in good nick and form is king. Also, Spurs aren't great at the back and it would give me another week to assess things like Costa's roll in the DGW and when to wildcard.

    Bank 0.1m, 1FT, 1WC

    Myhill
    Terry, Berty, PVA
    Sanchez, Hazard, Eriksen, Silva
    Aguero, Kane, Benteke

    Foster, Bellerin, Haidara, Sinclair

    Cheers!

Agreed. But then so did Benteke last night. Everton have tightened up a little of late also (1 goal conceded in 3)

I think I'm probably going to save and make 3 transfers next week for a -4 to get 11 out.

GW33 is causing me a headache, with so many injured and players out im looking at 7 players for that week, to compensate will try to get 2 more Chelsea players in.

Sergio Aguero has now gone 556 minutes (all competitions) without scoring for Manchester City

And i've had him for all those minutes 🙁

Above, it was suggested that bellerin won't be a regular starter next year.

I think he will. if we were sitting in a pub over a few beers, I'd offer to bet money on it, before drunkenly ordering another pint and then mumbling something under my breath, such us my confidence.

Not sure about that - Debuchy has been injured for a lot of this season.

That being said I do think there's a possibility he isn't dropped this season when Debuchy is back. At least not straight away

I think, it's Bellerin's spot to lose, this season.

                Next season - it's Debuchy's to lose.
The injuries to Debuchy have to be taken into account.
