Myself, Granville and Jonty welcomed Fantasy Premier League royalty for this week’s episode, as reigning champion, Tom Fenley, made his belated ScoutCast debut.

Tom joined us to talk us through his difficult post-championship season, whilst lending his informed view the situation facing the current Fantasy Football Scout league leader, and FPL number one, Simon March, aka “Dufflinks”.

Of course, we were also glad to have Tom’s expertise on board to help us grapple with the latest round of topics fed to us by the community. Amongst the many issues tackled, we attempt to explain the withering form of Sergio Aguero, discussing the merits or otherwise of an Argentine exit strategy.

This episode was recorded on Tuesday evening with a live Hangout broadcast. If you missed that and you really want to catch up on the latest beard developments (Tom abstains from this), you can view the Hangout in full via the movie below.

If you prefer to have your ScoutCast slip down that little bit easier, you’ll be wanting the rather more slick and refined audio version via this link or the first player below.

Be sure to subscribe to our Youtube channel if you want to be kept informed of future live ScoutCasts.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Last season I had a big drop towards the end, partly through injuries but also from having players whose seasons were effectively finished. This year I'll be selling West Ham, Tottenham, Stoke and Palace. Villa and Hull for me now.

    best plan with 2FTs?

    Can't afford Austin -> Remy in 1 transfer, so looking at these options:

    A) Austin & Hutton -> Remy & McShane
    B) Austin -> Murray
    C) Austin -> Gomis

    still have a WC, so getting DGW34 players won't be an issue, leaning towards B. Thoughts?

        Not sure, he's started the last 6, him and Dawson have played more minutes than any other Hull defender in that period.

    How do you guys rate this potential WC team?.

    Davis
    Skrtel, Ivan, Terry
    Hazard, Silva, Sterling, Henderson, Mane
    Aguero, Vardy

    Panti, Kane, Bertrand, PvA

    Assuming no injuries occurring, what would you change? Would it be worth getting rid of Bertrand for a Hull defender and play him over Mane?

    Got two options this week

    2FT 0.4 in the bank WC available

    Krul / Panty
    Naughton, Yun, Kosc, Ivan, Woll
    Silva, Hazard, Sanchez, Erik, Boyd
    Austin, Kane, Aguero

    Was thinking either:

    A: Kosc > Jagielka, Austin > Remy
    B: Austin > Murray and then Kosc > Baines for a one week punt next GW

    Obviously Yun and Naughton need replacing but as I will WC GW34 there is no rush.

    Thoughts?

          That's good. Not sure you can take another evening of deliberation. I've decided for you -it has to be Rooney - you'd only regret it if you don't do it and it comes up trumps. It's a two week punt - so can't go drastically wrong, surely.

      Even if he blanked it wouldn't change my approach.

      Agreed, I still think we have a couple big hauls to come from him yet. Not the sort of player to switch off and still amazing talent in the team, fighting for a CL spot (without having to qualify)

        I just don't think he can work his usual magic on a pitch like QPRs ... At least I hope that to be the case this week!

      Why would you own Silva Sterling Gomis if you were to bench them?

        I like to rotate my team depending on fixtures, and I'm not sure City will score against United, as for sterling and gomis, it's nothing to do with them, it's just that Bolasie against Sunderland is very tempting.
