We delve into the data from the previous Gameweek this evening and analyse a number of impressive recent performers. Palace, Arsenal, Liverpool and United midfielders arrive on our radar and, with one eye already on double Gameweek 34, we also turn our attentions to a trio of in-form centre-halves. Elsewhere, the malaise of Tottenham’s main men is also investigated.

Evening all, which one to go for? 1FT and WC intact - thanks all.

    A) Sanchez > Fab
    B) Giroud > Murray

    Davis
    Terry, Alder, Dawson, Rose
    Silva, Haz, Sanchez, Eriksen
    Aguero, Kane

    Giroud, Sanchez, Bruce

B makes more sense but I'm actually going to be a bit nervous without Henderson.

    Problem for you gw34 wildcarders is I'm guessing you having 3 chel 3 liv and Aguero therefore no Arsenal, how you get them back in for;
    hull
    SWANSEA
    double week.
Liv and Chel and City have good fixtures in gw35.

Nothing in it. If you're stuck for choice go with the cheaper option by default. If you can wait till after the cup game to get a better idea then that might be the right call. Could do with seeing more from Sterling in the advanced role

True. Rest of the big club got good cover players on the left wing; Neymar, Ronaldo, Griezman, Sanchez, DiMaria, Hazard..

Only other options than City or PSG could be Juve or maybe Inter..

Baird. The January WC gift that keeps not giving. 🙁 and the Naughton injury means he's there until Jonty time... ie GW39.

Giroud > Vardy this week, and keeping him for the rest of the season.

Do you think he will keep starting all games seeing as he has done recently?

For those of you who haven't used your WC yet, what do you think is the best time strategically to use it? Wait until last few rounds and load up on players with the most favourable fixtures? (also helps to save it in case there is an injury crisis?)

Why? Surely you're only then going to have players playing this limited GW for your team's set up for the next few weeks.

Good alternative but he's not captain material for me. Aguero has a much bigger upside and has the explosive potential

After 1GW Kane is now very unfashionable. Could be a good punt in light of that.

He is quite fashionable in my team, with his 2 ppg average this season for me 😎

This is the worry. But this GW could be a case of classic FFS over-thinking on such things.
Aguero 13 pointer would be ridiculously painful if you don't captain the pretty Argentinian.

Aye, but 5 games without a goal whilst paired, and then a brace in one match he was a lone striker? Seems strong evidence to me and not overthink.

Hard to see, depends on results against United and Arsenal. If Chelsea put them both away then Luis might get a run against Leicester
