It’s not often that we get to spend a good portion of the ScoutCast discussing Leicester City’s rich array of Fantasy talent.

That’s how this week’s episode pans out, as Luke aka “D1sable” does his George Boyd act to come off the bench and join myself, Granville and Jonty to analyse the impending double Gameweek.

We tackle the usual ScoutCast regulars, whilst deflecting the latest round of questions from the community, assessing the great Foxes hunt, the Hazard versus Sterling gamble and even how we can possibly eek out a valid target amongst the Hull City squad. Meanwhile, Granville is dreaming of a three-digit points bonanza as he joins the world’s number one in activating his belated FPL Wildcard.

This week’s episode was beamed out live on Monday evening via Google Hangouts. You can catch the full fat version via the player below.

For those who prefer a more refined, fine dining version, you’ll need to click this link or use the smaller player below for the edited MP3 audio.

Be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel and Google Plus page to keep informed of when future ScoutCast hit the screen.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

My 1yr old Labrador has "hot spots". It's now the second time in the last 6 months. Any idea what to do?

...lol...Jeez wonder of JK has managed to get himself to sell Kane after 71093 posts iro his WC this week?

            1. Breadbin
              11 years, 6 months ago

If this wildcard was for 3 months it would be the same but elongated 😉

As a comparison between me and him, I made my mind up to get Mig, Moreno and Sterling for Hamer, Bertrand and Eriksen. Enough in the bank for Remy to Giroud down the line. It's a simple game, and didn't require hundreds of posts and hours of my time.

              1. Christina.
                11 years, 6 months ago

Yeah, it seems making up one's mind early the last 2-3 weeks has been the way to go...

Carpet cleaning twice yearly. General grime where the dog goes is a good start.

      1. Christina.
        11 years, 6 months ago

Yeah, been doing that. Last time it was due to a tick bite I think. No worries, will sort out over the weekend. We know the drill.

        1. Breadbin
          11 years, 6 months ago

They're a right git. You can get special tweezers that unscrew the suckers without hurting/ripping them off. Lab hair is tough to see under too, just the standard tick/flea shampoo to sort out the poor woofer. Good luck.

          1. Christina.
            11 years, 6 months ago

Clipping the hair around the hot spot helps it to dry out. Then scrub/wash the wound with Soda Bicarbonate. Feed her antibiotics and that should do the trick.

Money isnt an issue (it really isnt) so I think im going to go for Coutinho and Sterling over Hendo.

  3. GoonerByron
    11 years, 6 months ago

    Coutinho (c)

  4. Red Star Toro
    11 years, 6 months ago

-12 hit feels so wrong but I guess it's the right time to replace Naughton/Wisdom with someone actually nailed on... so:
    A) Schlupp
    B) Morgan
    C) Huth
    ?

    1. Margarido
      11 years, 6 months ago

B or C since Pearson should g for a 4-4-2 now with Wasi injured

      1. Red Star Toro
        11 years, 6 months ago

Can we expect the LEI defenders to be as attacking as they were lately?
And would you do Naughton->Morgan for -4 to play him ahead of Bertrand? I wouldn't if it wasn't for 2 dead players on my bench and I guess I won't have transfers to replace Naughton/Wisdom later...

  5. Beavis
    11 years, 6 months ago

Leaning towards Coutinho over Hendo but neither are particularly convincing. Should probably just get the cheaper one......will save me a 4 point hit down the road.

    2. Numb

Play one of Bellerin (CHE), Lescott (LIV), PVA (sto)? I'm currently on Bellerin because of his attacking threat (if he plays).

    Haz, Sterling, Hendo, Albrighton (Sanchez)

    Aguero, Vardy, N'Doye

    Terry Fonte Toby (Bellerin Dawson)
    Hazard(c) Sterling(vc) Silva Phillips (Mane)
    Remy Aguero Kane
    1 FT
    4.1 in the bank
Considering Phillips and Mane both got good fixtures it seems a waste getting Coutinho/Henderson in..
How does Bellerin to Moreno look instead? my defense is slowly looking a bit hopeless and it allows me to get 3 Arsenal attackers for the DGW

NDoye and Diame might be worthy punts, but at the end of the day they are punts. Otherwise ignore.

      1. HuttonDressedasLahm
        11 years, 6 months ago

        WC punts.
        Deciding between
        Murray (HUL)
        or
        NDoye (cpl LIV)

Diame is a doubt now anyway, so not worth it

      Get N'Doye, it's only a game!

And he will score as well.

Especially if Lovren is playing 😉

How many DGW are people going in with? Im seeing some scary numbers like 10?

I have 5 and I'm suddenly not so confident...

    1. Chris_White
      11 years, 6 months ago

7, but the hits are flowing...

Is Kane -> Vardy worth a hit?

        1. Chris_White
          11 years, 6 months ago

Tough question. Depends what your thinking is post-DGW. Vardy does have the fixtures, but Kane can score against anyone..

          1. OzilFozzil
            11 years, 6 months ago

Yeah thats my thinking, Vardy might just manage to break even, thats assuming Kane blanks...

    2. Beavis

      Average number is probably 6.

7 (-4). The ones with 9/10 are WCers.

Currently on 7, might be 8 with a hit to -12.

      1. OzilFozzil
        11 years, 6 months ago

How do you justify a -12, pray tell?

        1. FPLEL
          11 years, 6 months ago

I haven't justified it yet :P, but I feel like not maxing out on Liverpool assets might hurt.

Look at each individual hit separately. If you think player A will outscore player B by more than 4 points for the time you intend to own him then that's a gamble worth taking. People get hung up about how many they're doing when in reality it's inconsequential. If I asked if -20 is too much people would say nooooooo. But list those hits individually and they may well agree each one is a good move.

Seems nobody is considering Lovren this week.. I understand he has had an appalling season but...He is nailed on & if Moreno or Skirtle get a CS so does he and i have watched the last few LFC games and every corner is being aimed for his head if you looking for a goal I think he is most likely and costs less...

      Rotation with Kolo

      1. nevins84
        11 years, 6 months ago

You obviously have not seen any games with kolo recently, make lovren look like thiago silva

    4. Numb
      11 years, 6 months ago

Why is he nailed on? If they play 2 Central Defenders like recently, it is two from Skrtel, Can, Lovren and Toure.

Please rate this plan?! I'm so unsure! Right now the team is

    Fabianski (Krul)
    Clyne Terry Morgan (Bellerin PvA)
    Fabregas Silva Eriksen Hazard Cambiasso
    Giroud Aguero (Kane)

My plan is to take a -8 hit to get Fabianski, Bellerin and eriksen out for Mignolet, Skrtel and Henderson. Then Fabregas to ramsey next week, clyne or skrtel to a cheap defender next week, and silva to Sanchez before the double!

What do you think? Pull the trigger? Or avoid?

You have a good plan after the DGW. May as well enjoy it!

    Schmeichel
    Ivan, Bertrand, Wasilewski
    Sanchez, Fabregas, Hazard, Silva, Sterling
    Vardy, Murray

    Sub: Pants, Kane, Naughton, Alderweild

    With 4.6m itb
Is this team good to go or how can you improve it for the gameweek (for a -4)
