Our hopes of besting Paddy this weekend rest in the able hands – and feet – of Liverpool’s mercurial playmaker, Leicester’s imposing centre-back and Tottenham’s talismanic marksman.

Although Philippe Coutinho hasn’t netted in his last five league ties, the Brazilian starlet (17) has attempted seven more shots than Raheem Sterling (10) in the last six Gameweeks and has scored two in three starts in all competitions. Ally this with the fact that the Reds have recorded eight shut-outs in their previous 12 fixtures and we’re willing to take up Paddy’s 15/2 offer on Coutinho to score and Liverpool to keep a clean sheet away to West Brom, parting with £4 in our favourite wager of the week.

Our second bet has us backing Robert Huth to net his second goal in three outings for Leicester City. No Premier League defender has notched as many goal attempts (nine) or penalty box touches (24) as the Stoke City loanee in the last six Gameweeks. With the Foxes facing a Clarets outfit that’s drawn blanks in six of their last seven matches, Paddy’s massive 40/1  odds on Huth to score and Leicester to keep a clean sheet against Burnley is worthy of a £3 investment.

Harry Kane is the target of our final flutter this weekend, as Tottenham Hotspur prepare to lock horns with Southampton at St Mary’s Stadium. The Spurs frontman banished a two-match dry spell last time out against Newcastle United and ranks second among all forwards in terms of goal attempts (eight) in the last two Gameweeks. Kane has tallied a brace or more on five occasions this term and we’re backing him to repeat the feat, placing the remaining £3 on Paddy’s 55/1 offer on Kane to score two or more goals and Tottenham to keep a clean sheet against Southampton.

Naughton -> Skrtel for a hit? Rest of the line is Rose, Azpi, Clyne, Dawson.

    Final team:
    Schmeichael(Myhill)
    Skrtel Terry Ivan (Wolly, Wisdom)
    Hazard(c) Coutinho Sterling Silva King
    Aguero Vardy (Kane)

Am I mad to bench Kane and play King? I bought Kind as bench fodder a while back and he got me 11 points off the bench last week so I feel like I owe him something.

If King starts both games he gets me 6 points, same as Kane would get if he scored 1. So really not too sure.

He would get 4 pts assuming he starts both. 6 if they kept a CS in both. He could even get less than 4 with a booking over two games

Thoughts on this WC team I've quickly cobbled together guys?

    Schmeichel, Ospina
Huth, Terry , Cahill, Alderweireld, Lovren
Sterling, Henderson , Hazard, Grealish, Silva
    Agüero, Giroud, Vardy

    ???

    Bottom'd
On WC and trying to finalise a team. Would love any feedback. Currently have it as this:

    DDG (Myhill)
    Terry Skrtel Clyne (Duff) (Vlaar)
Hendo Sterling Hazard (C) Fab (Grealish)
    Kane Aguero Ndoye (VC)

2.0 in the bank so I can fix my team up after this week. I would really like to keep Silva in place of of Skrtel but that means I would have to downgrade to a non DGW defender. I could also work something that I play a midfield 5 of Silva, Hendo, Sterling, Hazard and Fab, meaning I'd drop Ndoye.

      um...

      this is somewhat bad logic

if you're chasing, captaining the highest scorer, even if its the same as your rival is wisest

you can't catch up by making the gap you're behind bigger 😉

    Morning Guys

Have a dilema, in 3rd place in my cash ML, 48 points behind 1st place (was 115 4 weeks ago) the 2 guys above me have both taken -4 this week and have 5 and 4 dgw players including sterling while i have no sterling and 7dgw...on -4 currently should i take another hit to get sterling in to make it 8 players (dont care about overall rank just the ML)

any help will be appreciated thanks 🙂

It doesn;t matter if opponents have sterling or not. Who do you think will score more? Strling-4 or your current player? that's what you should think. If it;s your current player, then you're good! Let them have sterling. If not then go for it

I'm in a similar position. My overall rank has been a disaster this season, but it's all about retaining my Mini League.

I'm 18 points behind the leader and he's taken an 8 point hit so I've taken a 12 point hit to have more DGW players. Whoever you bring in I'd say go for it. You have to speculate to accumulate. Time is running out and this week is your big chance to make some inroads into that 48 point deficit.

How am I looking? Used my two FT already.

    Krul
    Terry Skrtel Schlupp
    Hazard (c) Coutinho Henderson Silva
    Aguero Kane Remy
