This evening we roll out the quarter final draw for the Fantasy Football Scout Cup XI, as sponsored by Paddy Power, as well as the semi-final draw for the Fantasy Football Members Cup V.

Mark continues to fight another day, after seeing off Eedee in round seven in the FFS Paddy Power Cup XI. He is the highest placed manager in the competition with a Fantasy Premier League rank of 155 and squares up to johni00 in the quarter finals.

Another of the FFScout team has made it through. Our moderator and Scoutcast guest Ryan beat the competition’s previously highest ranked manager, fuml_akimbo, and now faces HammersXI.

In the other quarter final ties, HuttonDressedAsLahm takes on Mowgli and faux_C is matched with Jon Nurse, who has won £25 worth of free bets with Paddy Power after his round seven tally of 68 proved to be round seven’s highest score.

In the Fantasy Football Members Cup V, the first semi-final will see the competition’s highest placed manager Tdubb05, who is ranked 1345th, take on waltzingmatildas. Meanwhile, Alwilb’s semi final opponent is faux_C, the only competitor to be in with a chance of winning both our cups.

The full quarter final draw for the FFS Paddy Power Cup XI can be found here, while the semi-final draw for the Members Scout Cup V can be found here.

Good luck to those involved in the weekend’s action. In the meantime, though, if you’re looking for more information on the Scout Cup schedule and prizes available, click this link for a more thorough rundown.

    Anybody out there thinking about captaining an Arsenal player over Aguero? Arsenal are so attacking and motivated and up against a team with nothing to play for.

      Assuming no pressing transfers to prepare for the DGW then I'd say it's not crazy at all

      I did Silva, Kane and Puncheon to Sanchez, Benteke and Gomez for 2 hits. That may be crazy but I think there is time for one last gamble this season. Time to take advantage of only having OR to play for and the freedom which goes with it.

      Not crazy but Kane looked good against City and Stoke have checked out defensively of late.

        I'd disagree. He got in good positions, his touch let him down and he wasted good chances. Definitely potential for goes but he looks to have lost a bit of his sharpness in front of goal.

    Really leaning towards Ozil just because he is due some points and is less rotation proof, is that a good enough reason over Rasmsey?

      I was thinking the same and Ramsey might be subbed off early with Wilshere back.

      I'm not sure "due some points" as in "he hasn't had any for a while" is a rational approach to picking a player.

    Cazorla was brilliant vs Hull.

    And he has pens and some corners.

    Why is he being so ignored?

      Deeper position. I agree he's a good pick and IMO the best DGW differential.

          He's a decent pick too. I'd say Caz's penalty duties make him a better differential.

        him and ozil would be interesting picks.. I'm hoping my ML league leader doesn't go that way because he can't afford Sanchez.. they are the ones I haven't accounted for in my team.

    Got no arsenal cover
    Thinking
    A) Clyne, Sterling, Kane to Bellerin/Monreal, Sanchez and Benteke (-4)

    B) Clyne, Sterling, Kane to Morgan, Sanchez and Benteke (-4)

    C) Clyne, Sterling, Kane to Wasilewski, Sanchez, Giroud (-4)

    B means possibly taking a hit next week to get Ramsey and Kos

    Tough call for me this week and I can't rely on my bench so I'm afraid of rotations. 2FT
    A) Bertrand + Sterling -> Ramsey/Ozil + Kosc
    B) Bertrand + Sterling -> Sanchez + Bellerin
    C) Ivan + Sterling -> Sanchez + Kosc

        I feel like Sanchez is the one I should focus on, not sure about Bellerin minutes though.

        Kane, he was very unlucky against Man City, still in good form and hungry for goals

      If Duff is successful in his appeal- he will be a contender to start too..

    No chance on Sanchez rising tonight is there? I have just about the right amount of money to get him in!

          He's young, english and has already adapted to the premier league. Not many better RB's in the league atm.

    How does this look?

    This week: Fabregas & Sterling -> Sanchez & Ramsey

    Next week: Silva -> Ozil

    It gives me Sanchez, Ramsey, Ozil, Panti & PVA for the double, no hit.
