    A) Benteke, Koscielny (keep Henderson, ship Ivanovic)

    B) Giroud, Larsson (keep Ivanovic, ship Henderson)

In both scenarios I have Sanchez+Arsenal mid. They're both for -8 total (over 2 weeks). Main difference is the Benteke move would involve all 8 points this week. B would mean -4 this and -4 next with keeping Vardy this week.

One (possible) benefit of A is I’d get rid of Vardy who is up against my 2 Southampton defenders. Although I’m not convinced that’s much of a reason to do it.

    Any thoughts lads?

Probably A, although I think getting 3 Arsenal attackers will be more profitable than a defender.

Yeah I think so too. The draw of Benteke is strong.

Rival has Aguero, Kane and Giroud and I have Vardy instead currently. As I'm leading I think I will probably block with Giroud

Thanks (@Tommy too). A would be even more beneficial to me if I didn't have to make the decision this week so I could see Giroud again. Wasn't all that impressed in the last match

  2. President John F. Keninnsie

    A) Coutinho > Ozil/Cazorla/Ramsey for a hit this week
    B) Sell Coutinho next week (as part of a hit) and play Grealish/Albrighton this week

Basically it comes down to taking the hit this week or next. Leaning towards A currently as the Arsenal mid has more upside this week than the cheap mid. Only problem is it means I have to commit to one of them now instead of having the flexibility to decide next week. What say you?

    1. Rhinos
      11 years, 6 months ago

Probably save, who knows Chelsea might be drunk

    2. HammersXI
      11 years, 6 months ago

I think playing Grealish or Albrighton won't be such a bad solution tbh. I would wait and monitor the Arsenal MF this week before making a decision (I'm stuck with Sanchez so I can't do anything now)

    3. Zweeps

This is basically my annoyance at the moment - hits needed either way but don't really want to bring in any mid but Sanchez this week.

I think I'd probably go A if it was me but wait until press conference just in case there's any further Ramsey news

Difficult one - I'd say pros and cons of each choice pretty equal. Think B actually edges it - though I'm doing similar to A myself - for a hit 😉 . Assuming you won't be caught out by price changes.

    Ospina
    Terry Skrtl McShane
    Haz Sterling Sanchez Silva
    Kane Kun(c) Tekkers(vc)

    Schmeichel Boyd Schlupp PVA

    B) Giroud (c) + Oz + Rambo

But their whole game plan is run up the field and pass the ball to Benteke. Not sure what the plan is without him except to just run around the field.

Hi guys, 21pts clear in ML, would love some advice... Which do you prefer for Vardy:

    A. Giroud (rival has)

Leaning towards Ramsey atm due to form - but agree minutes is a concern and Caz could very well be the one in the points for the DGW, especially if they get a penalty.

Didn't even notice I've lost top spot in my ML, rival scored 82. At least it's not a cash ML. 😛

Is it so crazy to save my FT (and not get Silva in for Sterling) to have 2FTs to adapt to the DGW???

    Ospina (Harper)

    Ivanovic Huth Vlaar (PVA, Skrtel)

    Sanchez Hazard Henderson Cambiasso (Sterling)

    (c) Benteke Giroud N'Doye

      who would you bring in?

      1. Heels_Over_Head
        11 years, 6 months ago

        a) if I used FT this week, Silva for Sterling... or a huge punt on De Jong

        b) if I save FT, allows me to have 2FTs to adjust for any injury to my triple Arsenal holdings (not that Arsenal player are usually injured but....), possible go triple on Sunderland, or fix team as need for any injury suspension, etc.

Only plan for next week is Wickham in for N'Doye... still unsure about a 3rd Sunderland player or if someone else is catching form.

    1. money face bandwagon

nah. enough defensive options out there to form a good back 3 rather than double ARS

    2. Clam. ☘️

Great differential. A mid is probably the preferable option but if you can't afford then I think Kos + maybe Bellerin/Monreal is a good shout

      1. The 12th Man
        11 years, 6 months ago

        Already have Bellerin + Sanchez.

Thinking Ivanovic + Vardy > Kos + Benteke for free

Then Henderson > Sun midfielder next week

    Kun Tekkers N'Doye

    Going giroud/kaneless.

N'Doye owned by 0.4 of teams. What a differential. Come on boy! This could be a rocket trip up the rankings. Or not.

    1. King H

again, does not compute to me.

      1. King H

A just think he will rotate and let some youngsters play after the Liverpool game and freeing up that 10 millio. Could work wonders for the remaining 2 games

        1. bigbudgie
          11 years, 6 months ago

I just love that Chelsea will have SUN on the last day. If they have to win to stay up then Mourinho will be obliged to play his best team. Imagine how it would go down if he benched Hazard for that game...

Community thoughts would be appreciated. Should I cover rivals Benteke with -4 from giroud? Current lead of 75, but rivals team has momentum. Would involve a -8 to cover his Kosc and Sánchez moves or do I just take -4 and go without tekkers?

    1. Clam. ☘️
      11 years, 6 months ago

You only need to cover Sanchez imo. 25 points a week is a lot to catch up with anyway.

    2. Heels_Over_Head
      11 years, 6 months ago

75 point lead. Unless he captain Tekkers and Tekkers score 4/5 goals, I think you're pretty safe. Stya on -4, don't give him any freebies trying to catch up.

(says the person hopelessly yet doggedly chasing a 67 point lead... you'll never guess who I captained this week...)

    3. bigbudgie
      11 years, 6 months ago

      11 years, 6 months ago

just asking. how would u feel if giroud scores a brace after u take him out for -4?

giroud has a good chance to match benteke's points..

      1. Rafa is a Geordie
        11 years, 6 months ago

True, he's just poor in comparison to tekkers last 2-3 GW. Guess form can turn in a second though. Just worried about his captain option

        1. money face bandwagon
          11 years, 6 months ago

yeah if u have none of them(like me)..i would definitely get in benteke. just that u already have giroud and is for -4 it just feel wrong.

lucky aguero is the favorite capper for the week..with sanchez/benteke on second. so you should not be too worse off.

and u can captain giroud on gw37 if u want

    5. Jafalad
      11 years, 6 months ago

Ideally, a front 3 of Gru, Benteks and Kun is the way to go right now. Wouldn't remove Gru at all before a dgw.

      1. Rafa is a Geordie

Thanks for the input lads. -4 it is, hoping for a tekkers blank :/

Carver has talked about SDJ's status openly in pressers. Starting for Under 21s mid-week last week and Carver had said he wasn't ready to start in Prem team yet last week. Will wait to see what "Too Honest" John Carver says this week. If he says he's starting, I may take the plunge as I'm chasing 67 points in my minileague and when healthy, the man is a talent.

Too easy next year. The time is now.

Have to do something bold to close a 67 point gap and haven't yet been convinced to triple down on Sunderland's defense ; - )

        1. Jafalad
          11 years, 6 months ago

I have triple SUN dee-fence. It's a good low risk differential.

Other diffs could be to cap'n someone other than Kun.

          1. Heels_Over_Head
            11 years, 6 months ago

Well, I don't have Kun so not captaining him is pretty easy.
