In our penultimate head-to-head with Paddy, we’ve invested faith in Liverpool’s departing hero, Arsenal’s midfield orchestrator and Manchester City’s marauding left-back.

Liverpool play host to Crystal Palace on Saturday in what will be Steven Gerrard‘s final run-out at Anfield before his switch to the MLS. Gerrard netted in his previous two starts and will be desperate to the send the Kop into rapture. Ally this with the fact that the Eagles notched a solitary goal in their last four outings and Paddy’s 6/1 odds on Gerrard to score and Liverpool to keep a clean sheet against Palace has tempted us to part with our first £4.

Santi Cazorla – the target of our second wager of the week – attempted more shots (seven) than any other midfielder last Gameweek. Furthermore, no midfielder in the league has fashioned more shots inside the box (nine) than the deep-lying Spanish playmaker in the last three Gameweeks. Considering that the Gunners’ opponents on Sunday, Manchester United, drew blanks in three of their last four, Paddy’s 16/1 offer on Cazorla to score and Arsenal to keep a clean sheet against United encouraged us to hand over another £3.

Our final bet in this round sees us backing Aleksandar Kolarov to continue his hot streak in front of goal (two in three). No defender can match the number of shots on target (five) the Serbian full-back has mustered in the last three Gameweeks, while Kolarov’s free-kick proficiency adds another string to his bow. The Sky Blues recorded shut-outs in three of their last four fixures, prompting us to take up Paddy’s 16/1 offer on Kolarov to score and Manchester City to keep a clean sheet against Swansea.

I've got 1FT and no Sunderland players, but I'm actually considering rolling it over for the 2FT in the final GW. I'm 26 points behind in my league.

    Myhill
    Kosc, Skrtel, Terry
    Haz, Hendo, Sanchez (c), Caz
    Kane, Vardy, Aguero

    Guzan, Phillips, Stones, Williams

    G2G?

Forgive the re-post, got lost a bit before. Think I'll save a transfer for a final game week flourish... Good to go?

    Mignolet
    Ivan Clyne Trippier
    Sanchez (c) Cazorla Coutinho Navas
    Aguero Giroud Kane
(Myhill, Boyd, Schlupp, Dawson) 2.2 itb, 1ft.

Defending a 60 point lead (which was knocked down from 92 last week!) and my rival has quite a few differentials (Hazard, Silva, Ozil) that I might just look to close off in the final week. He's taken a hit having just had Ozil and Koscielny as his doublers before, so assuming he now has another Arsenal + a defender.

How does the rest of your squad matchup. You've got another week after this one. 15 points isn't a lot at all, so take smart risks. You don't need to catch him this week, but you can't afford to lose points. Don't pick to have a differential. Pick who you think will get most points, even if someone that he has. Next week you can gamble. Good luck.

Was going to do a double switch to free up cash to upgrade midfielder #5, but changing my mind (again) and now inclined just to do the single transfer to get my 3rd Arsenal to join Sanchez(c) and Giroud. So.....

who to go? Silva or Coutinho
who to join? Cazorla or Ozil

I have Aguero, and swa/SOT in last two gameweeks leaves me tempted to diversify, which puts Silva on the chopping block. Yes or no?

    Vote now. Vote often.

Coutinho for Ozil. Silva will perform in these last 2 game weeks, mark my words. Ozil is the differential here, I also went for him and potentially may give him the captain armband.

I'm comfortable with Ozil. Actually like that move. Struggling more with the other side of it. Really see Coutinho finishing well.

        Thanks!

Is Welbeck out of both Arsenal games?

I'm strongly considering captaining Giroud (Sanchez isn't in fantastic form either), and if Welbeck's not out of Sunderland I hope Arsenal lose to United as they'll be forced to play Giroud against Sunderland. It's a gamble but I'm only just inside the top 10k.

Word was that he will play. If you're parsing words, that doesn't mean he'll start, although the more common opinion on here is that he'll start but likely get the hook at some point midway through the second half.
