I can’t deny it – right now my luck is in. Following on from Sadio Mane’s three-minute explosion of points, I’m finding it hard to mask my “smug face” in this week’s ScoutCast episode. You’re advised to stick to the audio version rather than suffer it in full effect via the Google Hangout recording.

Whilst resisting the temptation to revel in my Gameweek 37 glory, I do my best to invite both Granville and Jonty into the conversation to cycle through the ScoutCast regulars. We also tackle another batch of community questions, as you quiz us on final day punts, our Fantasy Football Scout moment of the season and on the state of the Fantasy Premier League game that we know and love.

This episode was recorded on Wednesday evening (prior to Eden Hazard’s visit from the tooth fairy) and beamed live on Google Hangouts.

              i'm struggling to see how arsenal would line up without giroud, plus he's a week off before fa cup final. villa might well go well.if i were to chose between the 2, i'd probably go benteke, but not for a transfer.

              now that i've said that, it's last week, and if no other problems, i probably would do giroud to benteke.

    Which one midfielder (sanchez and silva aside) will get the most pts this week? I'm thinking siggy (form and fixture), ozil (fixture, ability), mata (fixture, ability) or mane (the only decent midfielder with something to play for). What do you reckon?

    Just listened to final scoutcast of season. Thanks to Mark & the team again this season and all the regular posters. Will be said a lot over the wkend but this site is very addictive and after finding it 2 seasons ago I have won my ML both times and currently lead by 44 points going into Sunday - this site has definitely helped. Hopefully break into the 10k again Sunday for 2nd time in 3 years.

    And seriously - anyone on here who isn't a member...it's a no brainer for the fee!!

    Bring on next season when my heart rules my head and I pick maximum quota of Watford players and have a terrible season.

    I have a couple of questions. Is " a most violent year" worth watching? And having seen Mad Max and absolutely loving it, would I enjoy watching the original Mad Max film?

    Anybody sticking hold of Giroud ?...Like many strikers, and I include Lukaku, he isn't rubbish, just streaky. Those kind of strikers are in the majority and have been since I started watching footy in the late sixties...I have no idea if Lukaku, Benteke or Gomis will outscore him this week because none of them are an Aguero...I think i'll hold.

        Because it's hard to judge when they start and finish a streak. I don't think there's much to choose between them over a single gameweek...All capable of a brace and all capable of a blank.

              I'll be getting Lukaku in for Kane because Spurs seem to have given up, the information otherwise is that he loves to surprise at home in the last game.

              I just dont trust Costa to do well without the support that has given him goals, he is also a very angry man so no BAPs, and add a yellow to the mix

            That is my hope. It really would be a wonderful thing if he were to save them from the drop with a heroic display. And to be honest, Wakey, I'm not sure how many captaincy options are really that appealing on the last day of the season. Somight as well go for it and see 🙂
