All about price brackets. 7m is a weird price between budget (5.5-6.5) and Mid (7.7-9.5)

I could happily downgrade a mid to acomodate him If he looks to be the 2nd Bony.

7.0 midfielder is a sweet spot actually. Milner, Henderson, Willian, Ayew, Cabaye, Lens, Payet, Sigurdsson, Wijnaldum, Chadli all +/- 0.5.

              http://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/2015/07/26/sky-sports-focus-player-list-analysis-midfielders-2/?hc_page=2#hc_comment_10608962

It is arbitrary to define "budget" and "mid-price" in the way you have.

Every player you listed is a midfielder.
Gomis is a FWD and I was comparing him to others eg: Pelle, Benteke
There are only 3 at 7m, the other two being JayRod and Balloteli

The OP was about Ayew. A midfielder.

However the 6.0 to 7.0 striker is a sweet spot too as it happens.

Ayew and Gomis looking very interesting. I've gotten on the Ayew bandwagon now, got Pelle up front and Sakho for fixtures at the moment, but Ayew just looks too keen to attack and up for a poached goal not to get in while he cheap. Keeping a very close eye on Gomis though he looked very lively.

Thinking of doing Ritchie > Mahrez.

Ritchie and Bournemouth didn't look at it for being at home. I was hoping for at least some return against Villa.

Could use the 0.5 elsewhere before the price hike. But I also want to wait until tomorrow so there isn't any injuries to my squad.

With the way my team is setup for next week i probably would bench Mahrez. Is it worth it to ride the price rise?

I'm stuck in two minds :-S

Thinking of changing Richie to puncheon until Ritchie starts to earn some points

Would you guys change Morgan schneiderlyn to mahrez?
Mahrez played well today but didn't score many last season but I'm concered about schneiderlyn,s chances of getting points at Man U do you think mahrez would be safer?

Wouldn't be so jerky about Ritchie just yet. Schneiderlin to Mahrez looks good, though, IMO

Cheers Morgan is capable of the odd goal but is playing so deep it's hard to see him doing much this season

I think Mahrez could score more - but I think people are getting more than carried away with him right now.

Better options will emerge as the games go on

What do you guys think of Chadli at Spurs this season? I'm considering him for next week.Thought he looked sharp in the first half today and is playing in a more advanced role than last season. On the other hand he's normally one of Poch's first to hook off

I thought he looked good. I am considering downgrading Depay to Chadli to finalize my purchase of Aguero after the next game week (I have 1.5 itb). I thought Depay looked awful.

That's close to my reckoning. The boy's got goals in him.

On the point of Aguero, I'm thinking of going big, swapping Rooney + Pelle for Aguero + Gomis in GW2 or 3

If Walcott gets benched downgrade to:

    A) Ayew
    B) Lens
    C) Chadli
    D) Someone else?

Nah, If Ozil is sure starter, than he'll stay in the team. It's between these two, who'll be downgraded to supply funds for Aguero.

Last year my GW rank was 2.2 million. It was a most depressing start to the season and took ages to work my way back from. Thank god it is a bit better this year

Possibly stupid question, but do the private mini-leagues you played in last year automatically get renewed?

I can see them under leagues, but it hasnt calculated my rank yet for the old leagues?

Ryan, that was a great call on Albrighton, nevertheless. I was all set to follow your advice until this morning when I went momentarily insane and swapped him for Sinclair.

In one fell swoop I culled him and Gomis (Walsh's excellent suggestion) from my team.

The lesson is clear: listen to the Deadzone.

I was silly to take a punt on Ibe. I knew he wasn't nailed on but I feel he could get off to a great start with his competition not match fit. Being a young english prospect he could gain a mighty bandwagon like Sterling did a few years back.

Of course this is just foolish talk. Albrighton despite being unfashionable by comparison was a nailed on starter with set pieces and a good cross. It was a toss up and it appears I got it wrong.

Well, Ibe could work yet. I know he'd have a job to catch Alrighton now but he may still offer something. I was very close to bringing him in too...I suppose we all look at the same small pool of players really.

Yeah we'll see. I have no idea what the Hammers will be like under new management. Arsenal are so mobile and creative though you'd think they are odds on to win with ease. I suppose we thought the same on Chelsea.

Definitely. At this stage I'm hoping he goes with Giroud up top which would be a real blow to all of those who've gambled the captaincy on Walcott.

Sanchez may be too good to say no to once he returns
