The Dugout Discussion – Sunday

After yesterday’s disappointing start, many Fantasy managers will be looking for some of Sunday’s heavy hitters to come to the rescue.

A couple of 1.30pm kick-offs get us underway. Community Shield winners Arsenal welcome West Ham to the Emirates before Steven McClaren takes charge of Newcastle for the first time in the top-flight as in-form Southampton roll up to St James’ Park.

Stoke play host to big-spending Liverpool in the late kick-off, with Brendan Rodgers’ side looking to immediately avenge their 6-1 mauling at the Britannia in the final league fixture of 2014/15.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Arsenal look quite good. Creative but just poor execution when it counts. Santi hasn't done a lot but is looking to get involved and has just whipped in a couple of free kicks that just didn't hit the mark for headers

Right. WC time. Too many cheap players doing well, and too many pricey ones doing crap.

Romero sure to start next game?

If De Gea leaves I would expect them to bring in another, probably Cillessen.

      The real question is:

If you had such a bad gameweek.
Why not make a new team instead of wasting a WC, sure you will lose those 20 or so points you made this gameweek, but I'm sure the WC will make you more than than in the future.

In my opinion yes... Played overall a good game, and I'm sure LVG would love to see that in his squad.

Pelle goes on massive goal-scoring runs. Get him*

*Don't get him; this is the tail-end of the run: the rest came in pre-season.
