After yesterday’s disappointing start, many Fantasy managers will be looking for some of Sunday’s heavy hitters to come to the rescue.

A couple of 1.30pm kick-offs get us underway. Community Shield winners Arsenal welcome West Ham to the Emirates before Steven McClaren takes charge of Newcastle for the first time in the top-flight as in-form Southampton roll up to St James’ Park.

Stoke play host to big-spending Liverpool in the late kick-off, with Brendan Rodgers’ side looking to immediately avenge their 6-1 mauling at the Britannia in the final league fixture of 2014/15.

How did Oxford play, any chance Jenks loses his starting spot?

Oxford played in midfield. Jenkinson is a RB

Much less of a kneejerk to take a -4/-8 than to piss the WC up a wall after one bad GW

Wildcarding after GW3 looks really likely at the moment.

I'm going to pretend this week never happened, just get rid of Bellerin, and treat next week as GW1...the top team players can't fail again *Touchwood*

I know if I kneejerk I'll just regret it aha!

Normally in a bad week I can take something from it.

I don't know what to make of this week. I wouldn't even know what to do with my WC.

Payet got 1 assist and he's 7m, he's no Downing.

Arsenal have very talented players. The manager failed to get the best out of them here.

West Ham look set for a great season.

To be fair.. Walcott came into the game where the dynamics changed. West Ham were up 2-0 they went defensive.. Arsenal was all over the place, back against the wall, and unorganized. Walcott didn't have the chance to get his rhythm going. It was a bad game overall.

I think he will start next game.

Well done West Ham! My removal of Bolasie just became much more harder. It's between Payet and Ayew...

Ayew and Payet the most impressive mids this first GW. will be interesting to see them when they don't play counterattack.

Thought Wijnaldum looked class as well today playing behind the striker, got a goal too and nearly set up a few others. Added to my watchlist.

    Based on this gameweek's performance:

    Chadli
    Ayew
    Payet

Has to be Payet right? The guy looked amazing today

Chadli + Sakho for me.. Chadli was playing ahead of Kane at times though i do admit he had a poor game. Expect Spurs to do well over the next 5 fixtures and Chadli to profit though

Sorry to be slightly rude but why is the FFS scout tweets been quite bad this time around? Last year it announced line-ups and this sort of thing, this year nothing and paddy power adverts and its hardish to find line-ups from comments.

Not embarrassed to lose to West Ham by any means, they look great.. but it's a bad start for a team that should be challenging for the title. Can't be losing to West Ham at home.

27 points with Kolarov and Benteke left to play. No goals, 1 assist and Courtois in team. So I should be happy I guess..
