After yesterday’s disappointing start, many Fantasy managers will be looking for some of Sunday’s heavy hitters to come to the rescue.

A couple of 1.30pm kick-offs get us underway. Community Shield winners Arsenal welcome West Ham to the Emirates before Steven McClaren takes charge of Newcastle for the first time in the top-flight as in-form Southampton roll up to St James’ Park.

Stoke play host to big-spending Liverpool in the late kick-off, with Brendan Rodgers’ side looking to immediately avenge their 6-1 mauling at the Britannia in the final league fixture of 2014/15.

          Chelsea defence for me is a must. Mourinho's team always concede less goals than other teams. But yes Aguero is also a must.

    i watched stoke in a pre-season game...at half time I was contemplating slitting my wrists but then I realised I could just turn off instead

    and here I am watching them again...the game is awful...but I'm nervous and sweating and really enjoying the game

    that's the beauty of FPL!

    Oxlade-Chamberlain looks good today. Will he be in the first squad. I have no arsenal cover. At 6.0 he's much cheaper than other midfields. It's always a gamble to pick arsenal mid - Ozil Cazorla Ramsey Walcott. Sanchez is the best but he's too pricy.
