Southampton’s Jordy Clasie suffers an injury setback. Arsene Wenger welcomes back Hector Bellerin ahead of the Crystal Palace trip. Swansea’s Ki Sung-Yeung is set to return to training following injury, whilst David de Gea remains unavailable for selection for United.

Hector Bellerin is back in the Arsenal squad after missing the opening day loss to West Ham with a muscle injury. Meanwhile, Danny Welbeck, Jack Wilshere and Tomas Rosicky remain sidelined for the Gunners. Arsene Wenger has also confirmed that Alexis Sanchez is ready for the weekend, having worked hard during the week.

Newcastle will have Vurnon Anita available for the Swansea clash, with the midfielder returning to training this week after being stretchered off in the stalemate with Southampton. The weekend, however, will come too soon for Paul Dummett and Remy Cabella who remain out with hamstring and thigh injuries respectively.

Ronald Koeman has confirmed that midfielder Jordy Clasie is out for two to three weeks with an ankle injury sustained whilst playing for the Under 21s in midweek. Fellow summer signing Steven Caulker is also ruled out for the weekend with a sinus infection. Koeman remains hopeful that Ryan Bertrand could return to training in two weeks.

Tim Sherwood has conceded that Jack Grealish, Carles Gil and Jores Okore remain sidelined through injury for Villa’s encounter with United tonight.

Roberto Martinez issued some encouraging news ahead of Everton’s trip to Southampton. Gerard Deulofeu, Mo Besic and Aiden McGeady are all expected to be available after missing the season opener with Watford, whilst Kevin Mirallas was due to return to train yesterday after recovering from the ankle problem that forced him off last Saturday. Leighton Baines is out for 12 to 14 weeks, however, after undergoing ankle surgery.

Watford duo Steven Berghuis and Almen Abdi have returned to training after missing last weekend’s draw with Everton through injury. The pair are expected to be available for the weekend, Quique Sanchez Flores has suggested.

Despite reports of his arrest last week, Slaven Bilic has confirmed that Diafra Sakho has trained normally during the week, and forward is available for selection against the Foxes. Elsewhere, Pedro Obiang has returned to training for the Hammers and is in contention for the weekend.

Spurs have a fully-fit squad for the visit of Stoke, according to Mauricio Pochettino. Hugo Lloris and Danny Rose are in contention for first-team returns, whilst Andros Townsend and Alex Pritchard are also available after recovering from injuries.

Mark Hughes has revealed that Peter Odemwingie is ruled out for two weeks with a hamstring injury. Fellow attacker Bojan is expected to step up his recovery with a run-out for the reserves at the weekend. Hughes is also optimistic that Marko Arnautovic and Marc Wilson will be available for the Spurs trip, after injury setbacks suffered at the start of the season.

Swansea midfielder Ki Sung-yeung is set to train after limping off with a hamstring injury against Chelsea last weekend – Garry Monk is expected to make a late decision on his fitness. Defender Jordi Amat is back and available for selection after recovering from a broken metatarsal suffered at the end of last season.

Louis van Gaal has confirmed that David De Gea remains unavailable for selection, due to ongoing transfer speculation. Marcos Rojo remains short of fitness and won’t be considered for the trip to Villa Park.

I'd take a punt on Manè.

Don't trust United to create many chances tonight.

hmm.. decisions decisions 🙂 I am also contemplating triple captain for Mane... Everton look leaky and he had a good few chances last week to score, I think he is going to get at least 1 this weekend and an assist plus 2 bonus points 🙂

Mane is the balls choice - Rooney/Kane arguably safer bets...

        Who would you chose?

        This is my team!

        Steklenburg (Butland)
        Mertie/Clyne/Alderweireld (Kolarov/Huth)
        Milner/Ox/Depay/Payet/Mane
        Rooney/Kane (Wilson)

On the subject of the big 3, Hazard/Sanchez/Aguero, are people trying to fit all 3 in to the detriment of the rest of the team or just going to go for the two? If the latter, I imagine it is a toss up between Hazard and Sanchez. What are peoples arguments for ditching one in favour of the other.

I think looking at the squads, it is easier getting good arsenal midfield cover excluding Danchez than it is for Chelsea excluding Hazard, so I am swayed towards Haz over Sanchez, but then I am just more excited about Sanchez than I am Haz.

I'm going with Sanchez over Hazard. Last season he had to adjust to the premier league and the arsenal team looks better this year so I'm expecting more points from him this year

If you want all three, get them early

I've looked at all 3 and it leaves me with Sakho and Gomis as other two strikers and 16.5m to spend on other 3 mids (4.5, 5.5 and a 6.5m) which in my opinion is too light in midfield.

Thinking i will go with just the two and do like sanchez, but if I drop Haz out then i will have no Chelsea players in my team which seems strange considering last year's champions.

I personally think there will be a 4th this year - Silva.

Kun and 2 from the 3 I think for me...

Yeah, I checked fplstatistics. Price changes have a tendency to affect decisions.
I probably should save, but where's the fun in that. right? 😀

Must have at least 1 ars attack cover IMO.
i have 2, wally and ramsey..
But ayew was good at stamford bridge..
It´s only 1 gw and first gw in EPL for him...
What is the rest of the midfield?

          who are your front 3?
haz and mane for me are a all season picks..
sterling maybe and depends on how özil will play.
For me it´s either ramsey/walcott depends on if wally gets more start.

For this gw i would wait.
But if you are getting aguero next gw, sell sterling for ayew than and get city cover next gw

Front 3 are Rooney/Benteke/Deeney, was planning on swapping aguero for rooney next gameweek and getting sanchez over haz

Is it crazy to do Sterling to A.Ayew .. swansea fixs nice and that gives me the money too do Rooney to Aguero next gw..
I have Wally and ramsey, wally and sterling are both at 9..

    A) Sterling to Ayew
    B) Wally to Ayew

i am a arsenal fan and kinda dont want to do it but trying to think fpl wise not arsenal wise 🙂

montero ran ivanovic ragged last week, if sterling plays well he could do the same

          So rather wally to ayew?
I am thinking since giroud wasnt good vs. WHU at home.. im thinking AW will give wally a start at the front..
I think he is more willing since the only reason wally signed a new contract was because he wanted more of a role as a striker.. he wanted that and i think he will give him more chances than last season...
But that´s just me thinking so i am hoping for some advice before deadline 🙂

Third time lucky! Or I'll assume this is the perfect team

    Ruddy, Butland
    Azpi, bellerin, cedric, huth, baker
    Hazard, Ramsey, depay, Milner, wanyama
    Rooney, Wilson, benteke (C)
