I've watched a lot of football over the last couple of weeks but not seen much of Watford. Any thoughts on how Jurado has settled?

Lovely technical footballer with an eye for a pass. Is he performing?

Yes. Had him on my team this week and was very unlucky to not get some points. Also, he got an assist on week 1. Abdi coming back from injury might be worrisome tho, not sure.

        Thanks for your thoughts chap.

He's got real pedigree though, hasn't he? I would expect he would be the one knitting everything together. Think he's a bit of a coup for them really.

A nice price but I'm looking for someone that offers me a rotation option with Mahrez (I always have five handy miss, never filler) and he doesn't annoyingly. He's the right price but I'm probably looking at Shelvey just for the order of fixtures

    Azpi - Kompany - Huth - Cedric - Richards

    Too heavy at the back?

No. I'd go for Kolarov, Williams, and Gomez instead of Kompany Cedric and Richards, though 🙂

hmmm, Kolarov scares me a bit haha. Cedric will come good i hope, good fixtures ahead too. Gomez also likely for rotation?

Kolarov's nailed as long as he keeps his form up tbh, form of his life.

Southampton's good fixtures are very nearly at a close. Gomez has been playing very well, I don't think he'll lose his place unless he puts up a few clangers in a row. I think he's a good buy as a 5th defender. Kolarov is just not rated appropriately around here. He's gotten 4 bonus points in the first two games without a single attacking return. He's going to score brilliantly this season.

I'd ditch Azpil, we're a mess at the back, think we're 3rd/4th at shots conceded in the box, team's forever getting inbehind him and Ivan.

I doubt it, we was a mess end of last season too. Plus you've got Baba Rahman to worry about taking Azpil's position for a bit.

It's guaranteed if we carry on like we are. Plus there's a real possibility of John Stones coming in, I'd be worried if I owned a Chelsea defender tbh. No one is nailed atm. That includes JT.

Is it true Azpi favoured position is right back? (thought I read it on here the other day) If so, has he got any chance of challenging Ivan? Ivan looked horrible with Sterling running at hom.

If you're looking for in region of £6m-£6.5m, I'd be looking at Diouf, Sakho, heck even Kone's in the form of his life if you want to go bigger in midfield.

I think he'll start, but that's not based off too much. From what I've read he's undergone a full preseason and is fit and ready to go, but that has to always be taken with a grain of salt. Again though, I do think he'll start, but I wouldn't bet my house on it.

I think I want to keep Ritchie. Could be decent differential with his fixtures from GW4 and rotates with Sakho. Could go Ozil to Yaya but no Arsenal coverage worries me. Same about no Swansea coverage hence Montero.

I agree with Stubee. I think one of those two mid-priced mids needs to be downgraded so you can fund Sakho to Gomis. That's your Swansea coverage right there.

£18.8m, pick me one midfielder and two forwards. Looking like this ATM -

    Alexis - Silva - Mahrez - Payet - ?
    Aguero - ? - ?

I'm all for rotation with one forward/mid too. I'm likely Wes/Diouf atm.

    Hello all.
What's people's thoughts on current WC team...

    Courtois 4m
    Darmian kolorov jenks Richards saylor
    Mahrez shelvey mata silva Payet
    Diouf Aguero gomis

Plan is then with money in bank to do gw4 mata to Sanchez
Is silva and shelvey the right combo or should I do Yaya and upgrade shelvey?
alternatively could shelvey to 4.5m and upgrade saylor but I like the strong five man midfield
    Thanks

Best option for captain this gw3?

    Kun, Gomis, Payet, Silva

    leaning towards Kun though... Cheers!

Was thinking about Hazard / Costa, since Chelsea will have to give their all and Wes Brom is not any better defensively. We've seen how City enjoyed themselves in the WesBrom's half all the way through.

Gomis might be a hit too but I still doubt his consistency.

After watching Kun on Sunday I'll be captaining him until I'm given reason not to. So many chances. He could have had three or four, easily.

Bit old fashioned.. if i'm paying 10 million for someone this season they gotta be a captain choice for me. and tbh there's nothing much between Silva and Yaya anyway. Reminds me of 2 seasons ago when the price difference was similar and i ended up hating yaya since i owned the more expensive Silva and he kept outscoring him. Probably a mental block now tbh 🙂

Not really that good considering it scored 12 (-4) vs 3 + 2 so a 3 point profit but got rid of Walcott which is now a blessing.

I have no choice since my players are not playing or not performing.

Placed my bet on Rooney, Walcott, Mané, Chelsea's def. and I'm sinking fast.

Roo > Kun and Ster > Mahrez was done with FTs.

Yet I didnt like the look of my team, and with the new rule of having to play it by gw19, figured now is as good a time as any cos Needed surgery with

      Rudd Ruddy

Mert Azpi Cedric Huth [0 CS among them, and none looked promising] Coates [dropping in price]

Haz Ozil [may still remain in new team] Chadli [performed well, but other options sound tempting -Ayew]

Pelle Sakho may well stay in my team.

Once I typed it out, seems like Im using my WC only for a defence overhaul and Mids+fwd could have survived with just the 2 FTs 😀

Well its done, no point doubting it now 🙂

Thanks for this. Very mature to reassess after the wild card and acknowledging the mistake.

Coates may fall (he hasn't yet and may not fall this week), but he remains a solid starter for SUN.

Azpi and Cedric will have good chances of clean sheets this week.

Remains a starter yes, but do we really need a Sunderland defender? I know it seems like knee jerk but it's hard to differentiate between knee jerk and catching form before it's too late.

Agreed about azpi and Cedric, but kolarov Shaw and pool defender seem on better form than azpi CED and meet. I've never played it before gw19 this time I'm being forced to so I'm not convinced I've done the right thing but have taken a leap of faith

Save FT, Azpi will come good with the favorable fixtures ahead.
If you can get Kolarov to complement it, would be better but wouldn't recommend you to swap Azpi just yet.
