The Dugout Discussion – Sunday

There are a pair of 4pm kick-offs for our Sunday afternoon assessment, as Everton host Manchester City, while Watford search for their first win against an out-of-sorts Southampton outfit.

The Toffees punished Saints’ new look defence last weekend, ranking joint-second for big chances (three) behind Stoke City (five). The Merseysiders placed fourth for home clean sheets (eight) in the previous campaign but face a tall task trying to pacify Man City’s effervescent attack, considering they put three past Chelsea’s experienced back line.

Saints boss Ronald Koeman will be looking for a big response from his players at Vicarage Road, having watched them ship five goals in their opening two league clashes. No side has conceded more goal attempts from set pieces (eight) than Southampton this season and it will be interesting to see if Quique Flores’ side can look to exploit that apparent weakness.

All those people with "oh my Aguero, Silva,Yaya fail" - they will end up top at the end of season, obvious there will be games that they blank, just stop it.

The short term is important though. If they blank the next 2/3 games their price drops

They may be top at the end of the season but that is not enough.

In the games they blank, you missed the players with bigger points.

Sterling has had a good game to be fair. Love both the balls he played. The one to Silva for the bar and the one to Kola. Visionary.

Gomis or Diouf, I would go with Diouf as he gets plenty of chances in a game

What a waste of a wildcard. Eff off silva. Eff off Aguero. Had Hazard and Sterling, but brought in these two wastes instead. Yes, I'm annoyed.

I've already got by highest score of the season by 20+ points but a Kun/Yaya Goal/Assist would really be nice.
Along with Cedric keeping a clean sheet.
    And Sanchez doing something tomorrow.
Not too much to ask for
