We delve into the Gameweek 3 data this evening in our first members article of the week. Up front, we assess Bournemouth, Chelsea and Liverpool’s lone forwards, whilst there’s plenty to analyse in the centre of the park, as we take a look at some standout statistics from Villa, Palace, United, West Ham and Norwich.

101 pts after three games. I really want to use my wildcard during the international break but I have itchy fingers.
Think I'm going to have plenty cold showers before 11.45am saturday to try and stave off the wildcard cravings 🙂-
http://fantasy.premierleague.com/entry/63253/event-history/3/
That's my team there if anybody fancies critiquing 🙂-
Hold off for one more week, you are fine.
-
Holding!
-
-
Rooney to tekkers mane to silva?
-
I really wanted to have a city midfielder for this weekend but I ended up with sterling as it was between him or toure.
Rooney is the first player gone after GW4 though 🙂
-
-
-
I would WC if i were you.
-
-
Anyone keeping faith with Depay? Just don't see where the goals are going to come from at Utd and tempted to take a hit and move him on to Pedro before the price rise
-
I'd keep him...He looked dangerous against Newcastle
-
If I was selling (I'm not) it certainly wouldn't be for a hit
-
Yes..
-
Thanks all. Just anxious about Pedro moving up in price as won't be able to afford him if he goes up bu 0.1m even
-
Pedro is protected for now...and I'd give him a few more weeks before seriously consider a player for 9.5m
-
-
-
Keeping and monitoring Pedro/Ayew
-
-
How smart is Hendo > Mahrez -4 considering there's an international break coming up after the GW?
-
Tonight's possible rises:
Mahrez
Lukaku
Gomis
Sagna
Kouyate
Defoe
Tonight's possible fallers:
Sanchez (AVL)
Naismith
Mason
Tiote
Welbeck
Crouch
Fryers
Davis
Federici
Surman
Mutch
Johnson (NOR)
Angella
Bony
Hazard
Cook
Ings
Remy
Ritchie
Ki
Tettey
Gosling
Sidwell-
I don't understand how Hazard has not dropped already... crazy.
-
Glad to see Hazard being sold by the masses.
-
C'mon Ritchie, drop once more.
-
Surman @ 4.4m..........
-
Let Ritchie drop. See if I care. I'd let him drop to 4.0 before I sold him. The man is going to hit form and prove everyone wrong.
-
How accurate have they been so far? I know they've been pretty spot on, but does anyone have a percentage?
If Hazard is going to drop tonight, I may play my WC in order to buy Silva for him, then buy Hazard back in place of Chadli. That way I can afford Hazard, Sanchez, Silva and Aguero.
-
-
Would you rather have Shaw or Azpi for the next few weeks if money wasn't an issue?
-
Worth saving my transfer after using my WC last week?
Rutland
Kompany Darmian Williams Gomez Richards
Sanchez Silva Payet Mahrez Westwood
Aguero Gomis Diouf-
Sakho to Diouf for FT, lads?
-
reply fail lol?
-
Haha, apologies...!
-
-
-
Would save
-
Thanks. Might look at Sanchez+Payet to Ozil+Pedro after this week depending on the performances.
-
-
yup, team looks set for next week, maybe get in coutinho for Payet if you have the funds.
-
Yeah Coutinho or Pedro depending how they go this week maybe. Means I'll have to downgrade Sanchez to Ozil or Silva to Yaya though.
-
-
-
Gomis -> Wilson this week??
Allows me to afford Pedro or Benteke the following GW-
Gomis has scored 3 in 3 brother.
-
not one bonus point though, seems like he will have to score a brace or assist to get the bonus
-
Lol greedy or what?!
-
-
-
-
When will pedro price rise how long is it locked for?
-
28/8 I believe.
-
-
Is this team good enough for this week???
Butland
Gomez - Kolarov - Richards
Mahrez - Pedro - Silva - Sanchez
Aguero - Diouf - Wilson
sub: McCarthy - Westwood - Darmian - Jenkinson*-
Errr..very...
-
Looks good. But would still rather start Darmian over Richards, if it was me
-
pretty avg to be fair 😉
-
11/11 GW 4 Scout Picks.
-
-
Good evening. Have we learnt much from the Capital one cup games? I assume it was mostly B teams from the premier league outfits. so largely irrelevant.
-
Sunderland played a full strength side, and conceded 3 to Exeter. More a confirmation than learning something new. 😆
-
Wow. But Exeter are the flair side
-
-
-
With Liverpool fixtures and Sakho concerns, would you use WC to do Ivan and Sterling to Azpil and Yaya so you could get Benteke in for Sakho?
Have already done Deeney to Wilson for -4 so I would avoid that hit too by playing my WC.
Also, how injured is Kosc? -
Was drinking some coffee right now and suddenly came up with some inspiration for a team name: Bony and Clyne
Probably been used to death but was surprised that I hadn't thought of it before!-
How about "Red man walking"
-
Nice!
-
-
I feel like it might be a good week to bench Payet. Any thoughts?
Currently fielding:
Butland
Smalling Kolarov Gomez
Sanchez Yaya Payet Mahrez
Aguero(c) Gomis Wilson
McCarthy Targett Richards Obertan-
Bench for Targett.
-
Thanks for the reply. I hope Targett plays as a wingback again. Higher chance of attacking returns.
-
-
-
Thinking of using WC to hopefully build TV and improve on a horrendous start. Probably should have moved earlier as Kane already down - 0.1 and Yaya & Wilson + 0.1
Taking out:
Schmeichel, Romero, Huth, S Taylor, Mane, Ritchie, Hazard, Kane
New Squad:
GUZAN,
SAGNA, GOMEZ, Cedric
YAYA, PEDRO, SANCHEZ, Mahrez
Agüero, WILSON, Benteke
Subs: MCCARTHY, Bellerin, Francis, Wanyama
Think there's decent rotation of GKs and defence plus a strong front 7
Please let me know what you think-
get in some Swansea cover if you can, rest looks good.
-
Thanks - any ideas re Swans?
I'll have nil in bank
Gomis MUN wat EVE, sot
Benteke WHM, mun, NOR, AVL
-
-
-
To avoid price changes on both, is it worth doing Pelle > Costa for a -4 hit?
-
I'd do it. Costa's more likely to score this week IMO
-
Thanks. I do have 0.5m in the bank, but had planned on saving that to replace keepers (inevitable - Mccarthy & Myhill)
-
-
-
Anyone got suggestions for a downgrade of Azpi for the upcoming GW's? Not liking the chances of him scoring again or keeping a clean sheet.
-
On the contrary I think due to the fact that Chelsea haven't kept any CS's yet they're certainly due one or two!
-
-
How much importance do people put on their 8th attacker?
Is it worth compromising your starting XI for a bench player?
It's basically Shaw with Graham on the bench, or Cedric with Jerome on the bench. What would you go for?-
Maiga over Jerome or Graham
-
Errr....
AlNassr FC @AlNassrSaudiFCe Aug 24
#ALNASSR signed a 2 year contract with former @whufc_official's forward, Modibo Maiga. Congratulations! #NFC-
oops!
-
-
-
I prefer the 4.5 mid to be honest...
-
Better options there for sure, but I'm set on 352. 🙂
-
-
Actually, forget it. I'll just go 3 way rotation with Deeney.
-
Way to go.
-
-
-
Lescott hasn't been playing in the premier league yet didn't play tonight in the cup. Is he on his way out of WBA?
-
He had been linked with Villa, which would be mighty strange.
-
Sounds like a bust up somewhere down the line. Wasn't he player of the year for them last season ?
-
Not sure but I really would like to transfer the bugger out of my side.
-
Oh aye..get shut. He's obviously finished there..
-
Just so many other transfers which seem more important just now.
-
-
-
-
He's on the way. WBA waiting to offload him before signing a new CB (possibly Jevans)
-
-
I've taken a -8 hit this week and have this team
Mignolet/ McCarthy
Richards/Kolarov/Darmian/Oxford/Targett
Silva/Sanchez/hazard/Redmond/MahreZ
Aguirre/Wilson/Defoe
0itb-
I like it.
-
-
Who's the better pick for this week
Gomis or benteke.-
Benteke.
-
Dunno..Gomis just can't stop scoring.
-
Benteke.
And I own Gomis.-
So do I.thinking of getting rid for benteke.probably a bad idea.
-
Whilst he's scoring I'd hold. Form for strikers, fixtures for defenders in my book.
-
-
-
-
Tempted to use Bench Boost on the back of my wildcard last week where I had 32 points left on the bench. All 15 players playing with good fixtures apart from Mccarthy. Unlikely I will have all players fit/starting throughout the season.
Top of my cash league and can win £45 for August with it, decisions! -
im going with aguero, costa and benteke upfront .. who else have them all
im looking for their hattricks next round-
Very nice. I'm jealous.
-
Nice but then not midfield with Silva Sanchez Pedro
-
I HAVE silva and coutinho and shaqirir
-
-
do it on WC
-
-
-
Hey guys quick question
Butland
Kompany Gomez Richards
Sanchez Silva Marhez Depay
Kun(c) Gomis Sakho
McCarthy Westwood Darmian Huth 1FT
A) Sakho ---> Wilson
B) Sakho Depay----> Wilson Pedro -4
Cheers-
Give memphis one last chance, so A
-
Terrified not having an Chelsea
-
And he is looking pretty bad
-
-
-
-
Any suggestion on how to improve this team??
Butland Myhill
Kolarov Darmian Gomez Prodl Baker
Pedro Sanchez Yaya Mahrez Westwood
Benteke Aguero Wilson -
Best striker aside from Aguero? Is it Benteke at the moment?
-
Well he has scored one goal...
-
Which the refs came out and said wasn't one.
-
-
Has Benteke scored a legal goal yet for Liverpool?
-
Yes if this counts from a friendly match: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/33759920
-
-
Costa I'd say, Lukaku in form but poor fixtures after Spurs.
-
-
Who would you bench from:
Ayew Pedro depay mahrez toure
Aguero Wilson gomis
I brought in Wilson for the price rises but it creates a dilemma-
Ayew
-
-
Of you had to pick one of these...
a) Ivan, Wilson, Sterling and Sakho -4
b) Azpil, Wilson, Yaya and Benteke WC-
B
-
-
Ignoring price, Hazard, Costa or Pedro?
-
Haz
-
Haz
-
Costa
-
Interesting so far, thanks all. Would probably go Costa myself.
-
-
Mert Carbià @BallCirculation 53m53 minutes ago
#OFFICIAL: Aymen Abdennour has signed for #MUFC. Transfer fee will be around €25M-€30M, he'll sign a 5 year deal, will be announced soon.
had this retweeted onto my timeline and apparently this guy "announced Pedro to Chelsea and otamendi to Man city before everyone else". He says it should be announced in 3 days-
*NUFC
-
Who's this guy? 30mil? never even heard of him!
-
If true, I think they could have done better. I'm not sure he's anything above Rojo. That isn't a bad thing, but surely they're looking for worldclass.
-
Was mighty against Arsenal last year, whether he's any good in a high line, I don't know.
-
he's a very pacey striker, not a great finisher. Watched him few times for BD.
-
sorry wrong player!
-
Having a bad day aren't you? 😆
-
-
He's a defender.
-
Ah fair enough ^
-
-
lol what? He plays for Monaco and he's a centre back.
-
-
-
Stupid amount of money for him...
-
-
Worth doing Haz > Silva/Pedro for -4? Already have Sterling and Aguero
-
Nooooo.
-
thanks needed that - logging off now
-
-
I think I might captain Hazard this week... so no.
-
me being stupid ignore i am keeping
