With the first international break of the season now upon us and the transfer window finally shut, we take time out to delve into the Members data this evening. In the first of a three-part series, we assess the players by position and pick out the most pertinent stats over the opening four rounds of fixtures.

Current WC... Which changes look necessary?
De Gea / McCarthy
Kolarov / Gomez / Bellerin / Cedric / Muniesa
Yaya / Sanchez / Pedro / Mahrez / Westwood
Aguero / Wilson / Gomis-
DDG May not play. I'd get Shaw over Bellerin
Rest is good-
I'm 0.2 off having Cech/Shaw instead of DDG/Bellerin. Might downgrade Muniesa to make it happen.
-
Fabianski
-
-
-
Don't need Bellerin with Kolarov/Gomez/Cedric. Get another 4.5m def and go for Morrison over Westwood.
-
-
Any good films on UK Netflix atm?
-
dunno about films but im tearing through house of cards
-
Breaking Bad in Ultra HD 4k 😉
-
I loved BB. May watch it again now hmm
-
You have an Ultra HD tv?
-
Nope
-
You need one!
-
-
-
-
-
Not a film but Narcos is worth a watch
-
Download Movie Box (iOS) or Show Box (Android). If you have a windows phone; tough, your fault for choosing one.
Probably the best app you'll ever download. More movies, TV shows etc. than Netflix. Possibly anything you can imagine. And it's free. 100% FREE!
If you have a smart TV you can stream it from your phone/tablet to your TV too. If you're on iOS you'll need an Apple TV mind, but it's well worth the £50 investment for any TV show or movie you'll ever want to watch.-
will the police be knocking on my door tomorrow morning though?
-
Probably not, unless you're Diafra Sakho,
-
-
-
berbinho, if you are still about that french movie The Intouchables is good, just finished watching it on a recommendation and glad I did.
-
I'll give it a watch. Cheers
-
+1 Great film.
-
Brilliant film...saw it when it came out on a free ticket; would have gladly paid for it!

Hazard Out

To anyone who couldn't be bothered clicking it: please do, it's well worth it 😆
-
😀 I've already given the comments many of the plus ones
-
-
It's ok nobody noticed at the time
-
-
I'm sure its been asked before but Romero or DDG no 1?
-
DDG if LVG has any sense..
-
big IF that
-
We cannot rely of LvG's sense.
-
-
Valdes
-
Think romero is number 20
-
the dela went through
-
oLl
-
yep...the thing is I saw an article where it said the deal wen through ( I thought UEFA decided it was good or whatever), but forgot to check the date of that article 🙂
-
-
nevermind that comment, the typo saved me from saying nonsense
-
-
wait til pressers, or next game
-
rooney.

Put right to the bottom:
How does my team look? Should I be confident with it? 0FT and 2.4 mill in the bank.
Schmeichel Hennessey
Azpil Bellerin Huth Francis Targett
Sanchez Yaya Mane Mahrez Fletcher
Aguero Benteke Wilson
Don't know whether I need to take a hit or not? How do I make it better?-
Looks good. No hit needed.
-
Thanks zat! Does depend on bentekes injury though
-
-
-
Which would you prefer?
A) Yaya, Sterling, Milner, Azpil, Cedric, Schlupp, Oxford, Myhill, Butland
Or
B) Sanchez, Silva, Sinclair, Kolarov, Shaw, Ward, Targett, Courtois, McCarthy-
B
-
B
-
B definitely
-
B has lord Aleks, simple

Usually get the compulsive urge to WC around this stage of the season.
However, I'm more than happy with my team without a WC. I think.
Sch/Sch
Kolarov Koscielny Cedric Martin Targett
Sanchez Silva Pedro Mahrez (Bentaleb)
Aguero Gomis Wilson
I'm right to hold my WC, right? Think I'll just downgrade Kosc to free up funds. Maybe.-
What team would you even wildcard to?
-
I'll take that as a "I'm right to hold my WC".
😉-
Yup, I've got the same template front 7 too.
-
-
-
I also get a compulsive urge to WC about now... Pity i have to wait until January 😀
-
My sympathies. If I could gift you one this week you'd be more than welcome to it!
-
-
That is basically a WC team- what use is a WC when you have something like that!? I've got that front 7 plus Kolarov, but I wildcarded to get there.
Have you taken lots of hits?-
One -4. 🙂
-
-
Nah, you're missing Butland, Shaw, Gomez, Ayew, Benteke and Diouf
-
-
Missed the Liverpool meltdown against West Ham but is there any consensus on whether Gomez's place is safe? Noticed he was subbed off.
-
He was part at fault for the first goal. He played alright though. Moreno was good again when he came on
-
Cheers, did Moreno come into left midfield to begin with?
-
Yep
-
-
i think rodgers rates moreno more as a LM, he's a liability defendng. i reckon gomex will keep his place.
-
Thanks guys.. I won't be playing him this gameweek anyway so gives a bit of time to assess
-
-
-
-
Do we think Jenkinson will start next game?
First game, he was out due to loan terms of not being able to play his parent club vs Arsenal and West Ham came away with a convincing 2-0 win at the Emirates.
He was back for the home fixtures against Leicester and Bournemouth in which they lost both. He also conceded a red card in the latter game.
He was banned again for the away fixture against Liverpool; a defence that WAS yet to concede and came away with another convincing win of 3-0.
So West Ham seem better without him? I have him in my team and plan on playing him next GW.-
He should be straight back in
-
You know it's been a shite deadline day when you get questions like this 😛
-
Yeah your observations do make sense but I'd say that we're all expecting Jenkinson to start the next game.
-
-
Good to save guys?
Myhill
Cedric Toby Richards
Sanchez Yaya Mane Ayew
Tekkers Aguero Diouf
McCarthy Darmian Surman Gomez-
Awful.
-
This one sour.
-
-
Save for now.
-
Yeh cheers m8, thinking Mane out the next Gwk for Coutinho and maybe Cedric/Toby downgrade.
-
-
Not sold on a Tottenham defender, but then again they held a clean sheet and Sunderland upcoming, so safe 🙂
-
Yeh he will be the downgrade to Bou/Wat Def.
-
-
-
Probably going Depay > Payet, good move?
-
Can premier teams still sell to leagues where windows are still open
-
Yes
-
-
Does FIFA translate to reality?
Depay and Martial part of my awesome FIFA 15 team, Martial is a beast.-
yep 100%
-
-
Quick Poll out of interest
How many people had heard of Anthony Martial previous to United paying £36 million for him?-
me because of FIFA
-
Nope
-
Yeah , but only for the two days previous to them paying
-
I had not.
-
Not me
-
Also, if he had signed for Newcastle they would have got him for about £15 million no doubt and nobody would care 1 iota
-
Totally but at least it amuses us
-
-
Nope, never heard of him prior to this week.
-
Not me, but then I don't follow European football very closely and have never heard of the majority of players coming in
-
Nope
-
Never
-
i always rated him
-
Yup, FIFA plus some Ligue 1 I've seen. The kid can fly. If he and Depay can coordinate they can cause trouble.
-
Depay needs to co-ordinate with his own feet before thinking about anyone else. 😉
-
Trouble for the mid table teams?
Sorry that was unnecessary.
-
-
o/
Played some games in UCL last season
Listed top 15 young talent in a recent france football article (Depay was 1st) -
Yes, but I knew Idrissa Gueye, Jordan Amavi and Jordan Veretout also, who came from the same league and played for lesser teams.
Never seen Papy Djilobodji play though. -
Your answer looks like no-one knew about this wonder kid unless they were playing Fifa, I must ask Van Gaal if he has a 360 or an X- Box 1. lol
-
Me because FIFA. He is a beast there in career mode
-
-
I have to say Im surprised at the lack of transfer activity among some of the top clubs this summer. Arsenal were a couple of signings to being real contenders for the league. Chelsea started the league poorly so many were thinking a reaction in the transfer window was to come but no. Surprising really.
-
yeah, seems really strange
-
The people at Chelsea have learnt better than to knee jerk. A lesson many on here could learn.
-
wasnt Falcao a bit of that?
-
Would it have been knee jerking though? Standing still after winning the league is not good. Chelsea look to have made the same mistakes as City after winning the league in 2013/2014. It may be hard for them to overcome those mistakes this season.
-
-
-
Is Brunt the most nailed on WBA defender?
-
That would be Dawson
-
think so but classified as a mid right? I wonder why so much upheaval in their defence when they kept 15/16 cleanies last season
-
Pulis aims for 38 clean sheet and 0 goals per season.
-
think Im going to punt on evans to save 0.2
-
I've got Olsson myself, and I reckon I'm in trouble 😀
-
nice while it lasted though aye - you have him for the bonus points the other week?
-
-
-
-
-
I like this question
-
Probably, but my bet is Evans out of the fantasy defenders.
-
-
Actually - what am i thinking...
I'm sticking with Hazard. He'd haunt me if i sold him-
Your loss
-
he's tough to sell but i've made the mistake of holding onto players out of form too long. his price will drop too. sanchez or silva is better imo
-
-
Was the reason Chelsea signed Hector in getting back at Palace for beating them, because they were the second team interested? After signing Chelsea immediately loaned out a 23 year old, doesn't make too much sense.
-
The first option would make no economic sense tho, so no
-
''Economic sense'' is a rare thing in football transfer market, especially on the deadline day 🙂
-
-
Very likely. Chelsea often sign players wanted by their rivals, then loan them out to teams they do not consider to be rivals and don't allow them to play against their parent team (Chelsea). If there was a proper Fair Play Policy, this sort of thing would not be allowed.

Ayew/Yaya/Chadli/Tadic/Payet
Costa/Gomis/Wilson
1.7ITB
Thanks 🙂-
Costa for aguero
-
Thanks mate, I would have to make another change to get Aguero.. Plus I dont like having more than 2 players from the same team...
-
-
-
What's your honest take on Ritchie, lads?
Good fixtures coming up and I have him in my team - I feel like keeping him but don't know for sure.-
if you dont have a Bourne player then I would say yeah, him or Wilson/Francis
-
-
Cech/Krul
Monreal/Kolarov/Clyne/Ward/Shaw
Ayew/Yaya/Pedro/Tadic/Barkley
Costa/Gomis/Wilson
??
0ITB-
in defense i dont like clyne and ward ,both will face tough fix.you havemonreal so u can go for fabianski instead of Cech
again tadic not realiable..barkley tough fix.
replace costa with aquero-
Shot, made some changes... Thoughts?
Lloris/Krul
Kolarov/Richards/Shaw/Gabriel/Cedric
Yaya/Mahrez/Ayew/Barkley/Pedro
Aguero/Gomis/Wilson
0.1 ITB

-
*Opinions*
Would you swap Ozil and Hazard for Ayew and Pedro or Sancez and Ayew?
p.s. im a disgruntled Arsenal fan but still want at least one arsenal player in my team-
Sanchez will score soon .
Fixtures are looking better
I'll only switch to another Pedro when his fixtures ease up
-
-
please give me suggestions, i am currently playing my wild card after disappointing first 4 weeks. My current team after playing wild card is
Fabianski Butland
Darmian Monreal Karalov Francis Evans
Mahrez Toure Redmond Ayew Pedro
Gomis Wilson Aquero
1m in bankand thinking about wilson -> Diouf-
Keep Wilson
Upgrade defence.
I don't like monreal pick. I'll go for Richards
You can then upgrade Evans-
thanks mate... i want azpi in my team..but have doubts about chelsea defense due to recent performances
