With the first international break of the season now upon us and the transfer window finally shut, we take time out to delve into the Members data this evening. In the first of a three-part series, we assess the players by position and pick out the most pertinent stats over the opening four rounds of fixtures.
-
Pick 1:
A) Mate + Silva
B) Sanchez + KDB-
*Mata
-
Sanchez + Silva/Pedro

This
-
Didn't mention it's a draft-ML (no duplicates) - quite strict on only these 2 options. 🙂
-
B then.
Best of luck-
Thanks!
-
-
-
-
B but with Silva who is only 0.1/0.2 more expensive
-
Sorry, didn't mention it's a draft-ML (no duplicates) - quite strict on only these 2 options. 🙂
-
-
B and it's not even close, IMO.
-
Thanks a lot.
-
-
-
Big numbers - Martial's transfer fee.
-
😀

Joe Bennett > Bournemouth
4.0m defender for as long as Daniels and Mings are out injured.-
No other competition for him atm.?
-
Not right now - that's why they got him in on loan. Unlikely that he'll keep his place over either of those two when they return, though.
-
Could be an excellent shout for their strong fixtures. Francis @ 4.5 however is not much more of a stretch, plus his BAPS potential is probably far greater. Right now, budget isn't much of an issue for most, so I'd imagine Francis will remain the more popular pick.
-
-
-
How long will they be out?
-
Nice

To carry on Internal Error's post of top 10 signings this summer:
Off the top of my head, in no particular order;
Cabaye, Schneiderlin, Ayew, Sako, Sterling, Payet, Cech, Gueye, Wijnaldum, Rondon-
Amavi was also a coup, and Mbemba is a great signing for Newcastle.
-
Agree with both
-
really like the look of Amavi too, was considering getting him soon but have no cash available,
-
I agree that Amavi's a great signing. If Villa start ever scoring goals again regularly, he's going to get so many assists.
-
-
Pedro, KDB biggest transfers imo
-
Cech,Clyne,Darmian,Ayew,Pedro,Payet,Gradel,Wijnaldum,Schneiderlin,Shaqiri
-
like the Gradel pick as well,
-
Gradel a great shout, shame about the injury.
-
-
would you stick Lens in there by any chance?
-
Yep. Would look better in a better side, but can't argue with his start
-
-
Lens - done more than Wijnaldum??
-
urgh, must read to bottom before posting.
-
True, but think Wijnaldum will show to be the better season by the end of the season. You have to look at both their opening fixtures too
-
*signing
-
Is Wijnqldum a decent FPL prospect? Had him in my head as a box to box mid, but unsure on goal scoring prowess etc?
-
have him in draft league, scored but poor underlying stats - however it may be down to oppsotion as demi says.
-
14 goals in 2900 minutes last year. Apparently has a habit of arriving late into the box ala Lampard.
Poor fixtures for a while yet though, so worth just monitoring, imo.-
looked decent against the gunners
-
-
-
-
-
Payet, Lanzini ...
-
In excited about Lanzini! 🙂
-
So am I. 🙂
-
-
-
1. KDB
2. Payet
3. Schniderlain
4. Ayew
5. Pedro
6. Cabaye
7.Clyne
8. shaqiri
9.Darmian
10. Cech
-
-
Poorly worded 1st time so will try again:
In my draft-ML (no duplicates), would you trade:
Mata + Silva
for
Sanchez + KDB
?-
I'd want Sanchez and KDB
-
no
-
-
I want to see the big numbers 🙁

Man City's net spend

Just ££ these days.

"The Serbian has proved a bitter disappointment so far..."
I would've thought most people would call the Serbian Kolarov's season a success so far!-
They need to tell us he's Serbian every time he's mentioned in an article. I'm unsure of the importance of this.
-
That confused me for about 0.5 seconds too. Who reviewed this article?!!
-
-
Got Williams.. My get Naughton and double up soon 😎 .. Really loving the swans defense this year
-
Hmm. Might join you on that from GW9 or so...
-
I've got Fernandez on my WC. Run the comparison with Williams.
-
No comparison in the BPS, though.
-
-
Don't you need another Swans attacker? Shelvey more of a provider.
-
-
Here I was thinking Zouma and Djibodji are going to form a CB partnership in a few years only to realize Djibodji is going to be 27 in December. Sorry, but I'd rather have that Nobodji Arsenal signed.
-
Is Djibodji going to be a starter?
-
Why go to Chelsea at 26 if you're not expecting to start? But I dont think he will anyway.
-
See Richard Wright and Hilario. Spent their careers doing it! 🙂
-
-
-
-
This article is starting to be a bit of a troll ...
-
Doos! I wondered if you could share your thoughts on my Diafra v Deeney conundrum?
Comparison tool was less convincing than I expected it to be. -
The article itself? 😮
-
Why you say that?
-
-
OptaJoke @OptaJoke 2m2 minutes ago
1.50 - Arsene Wenger will sleep at the Emirates tonight after refusing to spend £1.50 for his bus fare home. Oyster.-
In fairness, it has risen above inflation. When I moved to London 8 years ago it was £0.90.
-
🙂
-
-
atm: Kolarov Koscielny Francis Ward Gomez
Would you try to squeeze in Cresswell / Dawson ?-
Evans 🙂
-
-
Anyone else worried by the arrival of KDB?
With Silva Yaya KDB and Sterling, the points will be spread so much every week
Aguero only?-
No. None of those players were monopolising points anyway, so I'm not worried about that. In fact it should make them a better option and less attacks end at the feet of Navas.
My only concern would be if Silva was moved form the 10, and perhaps the total loss of set pieces for Yaya/Silva/Kolarov. -
Kun+Silva+Kolarov IMO.
-
this
-
-
My thoughts exactly. Aguero + Kompany and Kolarov for me.
-
-
Zouma, Terry, Cahill, Papy
I believe that's our pecking order atm.-
@ Karlihno
-
Fullback is interesting as well...
-
-
Demi? Who will be doing set pieces at Citeh?
-
No idea, i guess we have to wait an see. Think De Bruyne will take his fair share though
-
Bugger. 🙁
-
-
last week, kolarov silva and yaya all took a freekick
they might just take turns-
Cheers, RuberX.
-
-
its a free for all, Silva. Yaya, KDB. Kolarov
-
Depended on the position of the freekick on the pitch last week although Silva pulled rank v Watford on one occassion
-
-
Current WC... Which changes look necessary??
De Gea / McCarthy
Kolarov / Gomez / Bellerin / Cedric / Muniesa
Yaya / Sanchez / Pedro / Mahrez / Westwood
Aguero / Wilson / Gomis-
I'm not sure LVG will start De Gea - I wouldn't put it past him to continue with Romero either because of his ego or because De Gea lacks match fitness
-
I agree, and ego or just because he can.
-
yeah could be a case of sign a new contract or rot
-
-
-
-
will Albrighton's pitch time be affected by Dyer on loan?
-
Yep, one to monitor. Could see Albrighton move into the middle perhaps.
-
Swans dyer ?
-
-
Butland McCarthy
Kolarov Sagna Dawson Ward Francis
Sanchez Pedro Ayew Mahrez Redmond
Aguero Gomis Wilson
£1.7m ITB
Any thoughts on this WC team? My thinking: Wanted a West Brom keeper but don't know who will start yet out of Myhill and Lindergaard, so thought it better to go with Butland for now. Also KDB's arrival means uncertainty about how points will be distributed among City's midfield options, so seemed safer to go with two MCI defs for now, then get Silva/Yaya/KDB in when best choice becomes clear.
Or could downgrade defence now and get Silva in for Redmond.-
Looks decent. Sagna is obviously a short-ish term solution so you might need to be prepared to ship him when you're bringing in your City mid
-
-
Now that KDB has moved to Man C will Sterling be a better option than SIiva due to
a SIiva possibly losing set pieces
&
b Silva possibly being moved from the no 10 spot
Any views would be appreciated-
Certainly one to monitor. He is an easy switch to Sterling if it looks a sensible move in a couple of weeks.
-
a) this problem would only be slight, and not enough to make a big difference, imo.
b) this would be a big problem for me.
I'm a big fan of Sterling anyway, and I thought prior to KDB that he'd prove better value. -
I don't see B happening. Silva is the heart of that team going forward
-
They've already practised it in preseason just to accomodate Fabian Delph. I'm almost certain KDB will take the no. 10 role.
-
-
Imo, he is already.
-
-
i got 2 FT is it worth doing Williams to Naughton ?
-
You must have a really good team.
-
Butlant / McCarthy
Kolarov - Williams - Ward (Targett/Richards)
Sanchez - Silva - Mane - Mahrez (Obertan)
Kun - Benteke - Gomis
cant complain so far and i was actually thinking maybe Benteke to Wilson to free some funds but Lpool offensive might come around soon
-
-
Seems a waste, I think they'll score similarly
-
Yes. But only if you've got the rest of your squad right.
-
-
how many people dont yet have Aguero and if so who are your front 3 ?
-
Stick with this?
Butland (McCarthy)
Kolorov - Williams - Richards (Shaw, Gomez)
Pedro - Sanchez - Payet - Mahrez (Westwood)
Aguero (C) - Lukaku - Gomis
1xFT (1 used already Depay to Pedro), 0.4itb-
play shaw over williams
-
also Luka to wils
-
Can't do it as a Liverpool fan..
-
-
-
-
😀

First comment:
Mark Watson @watsoncomedian 35m35 minutes ago
@PaddyMcGuinness Sub him out mate. If he doesn't want to play for McGuinness he shouldn't wear the McGuinness shirt.
😆 -
Not sure how he managed to misspell 'you're' the first time.
-
-
Worst deadline day in a while for "drama"
-
Yeah, really dull. I wanted the likes of Pogba to come to the Premier League.
-
-
Hi.....Any idea who is better wildcard option....naughton or Williams.
Is naughton as nailed on as Williams?
Thanks-
Naughton's price swings it for me.
-
Both are the same price!
-
So they are 😆
-
Thought he was 4.5 🙂
-
-
-
-
-
At least Marca will still believe Madrid's version of events tomorrow
-
Hey lads, need your honest opinion about this, to finally make it clear.
Diouf > Wilson
Payet > Pedro for -4?
Or only Diouf > Wilson? If I do only this one, I'll lack money to bring in Pedro later.-
Wouldn't say 'to finally make it clear' since you've posted this like hundred times. Btw they're both good moves.
-
-
WC Team, Bit Early But Thoughts/Suggestions?
Myhill, Elliot
Muniesa, Targett, Prodl, Koscielny, Kolarov
Sanchez, Mahrez, Westwood, Bolasie, Hazard
Aguero, Gomis, Wilson -
So West brom don't like clubs trying to buy on the cheap by attempting to unsettle players with numerous undervalue bids?
David Marshall says "hello"..pr!cks -
Would you swap Gomez to Cresswell to avoid a double up on pool defence? Got Migs in nets..
-
Lose Migs
-
Get Clyne/Skrtel in and triple up.
-
