Palace’s Joel Ward is ruled out for up to four weeks. Arsenal receive a central defensive injury boost, Jefferson Montero is passed fit for Swansea, Mame Biram Diouf misses training ahead of Stoke’s trip to the Emirates and Thibaut Courtois is sidelined for Chelsea with a knee injury.

Arsene Wenger has received a boost following the international break, with Laurent Koscielny fit after a minor back injury and Per Mertesacker also back in full training. Danny Welbeck has suffered a setback, which is expected to see him sidelined until Christmas, while Jack Wilshere is progressing slowly and remains unavailable for the weekend.

Cyrstal Palace have suffered a blow with news that right-back Joel Ward will miss the next 3-4 weeks after sustaining an injury in training. Marouane Chamakh remains sidelined for the Eagles’ clash with City, whilst Connor Wickham will be assessed after sustaining a knock.

Everton will monitor Bryan Oviedo “right up until kick-off” as the Costa Rican attempts to overcome a knee problem. Brendan Galloway has returned to fitness to boost the Toffees defensive options, while Tim Howard and Funes Mori will be assessed having arrived back late from international duty. Tom Cleverley could return from injury after six-to-eight weeks, according to Martinez.

Tony Pulis has confirmed that Saido Berahino is “in contention” to face Southampton at the Hawthorns this weekend.

Thibaut Courtois is set for a period on the sidelines with a knee injury sustained in training for Chelsea. The Belgian could be out for up to ten weeks, according to reports in the local press.

Tim Sherwood has confirmed that Jack Grealish, Idrissa Gana and Adama Traore remain doubtful for the King Power trip, adding that the latter is behind Grealish in his fitness battle. Gabby Agbonlahor has recovered from illness and is available for selection against the Foxes.

Mame Biram Diouf failed to train for Stoke yesterday, and remains doubtful for the Emirates trip with a hamstring injury. Marko Arnautovic (ankle) and Glen Johnson will also be assessed.

Eddie Howe could be without Charlie Daniels for Bournemouth’s trip to Norwich, with the left-back rated as “touch and go” with a knee injury. Harry Arter has returned to training, with Howe optimistic that the midfielder will be available for selection within a month.

Watford have confirmed that new signing Victor Ibarbo is unlikely to feature at the weekend due to visa issues. Fellow signing Oulare’s pitch time is also in question due to a lack of match fitness.

Swans Boss Garry Monk has a fully fit squad to choose from for the trip to Vicarage Road, after revealing that Jefferson Montero has returned to training and is available for the weekend.

Daniel Sturridge has returned to full training for Liverpool, though it’s uncertain whether he’ll be fit to feature in Saturday’s trip to Old Trafford.

Sadio Mane and Cuco Martina have arrived late from international duty, with Ronald Koeman confirming that the pair will return to training today. Koeman has also hinted that Victor Wanyama could start away to West Brom, following the transfer speculation which led to his unavailability prior to the international break. The Saints boss also hopes that Ryan Bertrand will return to normal training from next Monday.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream as breaking news unfolds.

Lot of tinkering, WCs are fun, but please provide me suggestions if any?

    Begovic - McCarthy
    Kolarov - Dier - Evans - Martin - Francis
    Pedro - Sanchez - Sterling - Mahrez - Westwood
    Aguero - Wilson - Gomis

I'll probably do Kolarov and Dier to Sagna and Shaw if Sagna is fit. Any other suggestions?

I believe he can get as much as points Kolarov can. Kolarov is attacking but still Sagna isn't struggling anymore and is gettimg BPS, i see no harm honestly

I have opted for Ayew and Silva over Pedro and Sterling at the moment. But have considered Sterling/Pedro combo.

Currently opting for Cresswell and Williams in defence. Unsure on Second GK and final 4.5 DF next to Francis.

I have Gomis and the thing with Silva is, that I don't see him racking much goals in the near future with the likes of Sterling,Aguero and KEN. You could go Olsson, cheap way into WBA defense

          • 16 Years

Olsson would be my choice but we don't really know what is going to happen with Evans coming in.

I just love watching Silva play I guess. Yes he does assist the assister a lot but he has so much potential for points. Whats to say KDB coming in wont release silva a little and allow him to get into the box more....

He will play on the right I'd say. Nothing to stop him drifting into the no.10 role and giving Silva more freedom.

The problem with a Chelsea keeper is that you are unlikely to get as many baps. The outfield players will score lots of goals and take baps from the keeper.

    .
    Keeper bonus so far:

    Howard 4 (3-0, 0-0)
    Myhill 4 (0-0, 1-0)
    Krul 3 (0-0)
    Cech 3 (0-0)
    Gomes 3 (0-0)
    Adrián 3 (2-0)
    Romero 1 (1-0)

    Bonus related to scorelines:
    0-0 = 3 baps
    0-0 = 3 baps
    0-0 = 3 baps
    0-0 = 3 baps
    0-0 = 3 baps
    1-0 = 1 bap
    1-0 = 1 bap
2-0 = 3 baps .............................(West Ham 2-0 Arsenal, lots of saves!)
    3-0 = 1 bap

Could say that about any Keeper although I do agree, less saves and less bonus. And the fat that Chelsea defence is fecked and will probably go through transition soon. Plus I'd rather leave maximum spots available to outfield players from Chelsea.

His 5.0 price and likelihood of cleanies is the main selling point. Baps don't bother me with keepers.

Sinclair (3% ownership) could be gd differential, being on pen duties, & having got a hat-trick last GW. However to get him in my team I'd need to sacrifice Wilson (nor) or Gomis (wat)....shall I stick or twist? Any advice would be much appreciated!

"I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation.

"Five score years ago, a great American, in whose symbolic shadow we stand signed the Emancipation Proclamation. This momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of Negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. It came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of captivity.

"But one hundred years later, we must face the tragic fact that the Negro is still not free. One hundred years later, the life of the Negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. One hundred years later, the Negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. One hundred years later, the Negro is still languishing in the corners of American society and finds himself an exile in his own land. So we have come here today to dramatize an appalling condition."

They were throwing the member statt around very freely on the ScoutCast! I thought that sort of thing was frowned upon?

Well I know he was price protected in the beginning but how come Pedro still hasn't risen?

Really up for this weekend's football.

Hopefully things settle down to normality now. Team all sorted post-wildcard. Aguero captainers to score well, plus something out of Alexis, and a nice steady 65-70 point week will be lovely.

    Not to much to ask?!

    Good luck all.

Jonty did Diouf to Wilson, I need to get Diouf out but didn't want to go him, but I know he is a good choice, but he does like Borini I might go him as a differential.

Yep Vardy Deeney and Borini the later 2 have pretty good fixtures, Borini more so.

no point looking at differentials, just get the players who will get the most points

I'm waiting on Diouf, Hoolahan can do a job as my 5th mid this week, if he's out for Leicester next week then I quite fancy Rondon for the midlands derby.

    Have 1 ft and 1m..thoughts?

    Ruddy
Shaw huth kolorav -- Francis Coates
Mahrez Chadli hazard sterling --- mane
    Kun Wilson Deene

    A: hazard >> sanchez
B: hazard >> depay...allows me to upgrade deeney next go
C: save FT and give hazard one more week
    D: something else

My biggest headache atm are my strikers...want to upgrade deeney but no standout option hence opted for a 352
