A dozen teams duke it out across Saturday’s three o’clock kick-offs, with Leicester’s home tie against Arsenal perhaps topping the bill as an goal-strewn end-to-end encounter.

The Gunners are statistically the most wasteful team in the league this term (4.1% shot-conversion rate), netting just five goals despite a league-high tally of attempts (121), shots inside the box (83) and big chances (18). The Foxes, meanwhile, are joint-top with regards to goals scored (13) and boast the second best conversion rate (16.5%). The fact that Leicester are yet to register a clean sheet bodes well for Arsenal’s attacking prospects, though.

A form attack meets an out-of-form defence as Manchester United square up to Sunderland at Old Trafford. The Red Devils scored six goals in their last two outings and have conceded just one goal on home turf this campaign. As for the Black Cats, they’ve shipped more goals (13) than any outfit and rank second for shots conceded inside the box (64). Furthermore, no team has conceded more goals (eight) on their travels than the Wearsiders.

West Ham’s home head-to-head against Norwich City is a tricky one to call. The Hammers rank joint-top for goals scored (13) but are also at the summit for goals conceded at home (six). It’s a similar story for the Canaries, who place in the top five for goals scored (nine) and goals conceded on the road (five). Only Stoke (18) have conceded more big chances in away ties than Alex Neil’s charges, which increases the likelihood that the Irons can perpetuate their rich vein of form in the final third.

Elsewhere in the early-afternoon schedule, Liverpool go in search of their first win in five matches as they invite Aston Villa to Anfield. At the other end of the country, Southampton enjoy a home tie against a Swansea outfit that’s drawn back-to-back blanks. Finally, a winless Stoke City side welcome Bournemouth to the Britannia Stadium.

I actually gave the armband to Sanchez at 11.45 against everyone saying Martial was the better choice. Someone on here scared me in the last minute saying Martial might be subbed off after 60 minutes.

Milner finally came through although sad that I still have him and it certainly isn't by choice but will take the points nonetheless!

Submitted an article yesterday for a new series called 'Under the Radar' with the first to feature being Jamie Vardy.

Seems he will be a popular transfer in this week; will probably feature in my bandwagon article instead.

    1. Fred54
      11 years, 28 days ago

      With Wilson out, defo.

      1. Rödallegabomb ᴿᴮ
        11 years, 28 days ago

It's a shame, because the article I wrote was focused on foresight, showing he has performed well but not yet got a big haul hence the lower ownership. I was predicting a haul for him over his kind run tipping Arsenal to be a game where he could score well due to injuries to Coquelin etc.

Now it will look like hindsight when it comes out/when I write about him in the other article.

Not sure what to think of this, but the cheapest captain I've had so far (captained him twice) has scored me more captaincy points than all my other (Aguero, I'm looking at you!) captains together.

    1. Camp No No
      11 years, 28 days ago

This is because my big hitters have blanked each time, the cheap captain not once.

      1. Pariße
        11 years, 28 days ago

Captained ''big hitters'' 6 times with max 2 pts, the seventh was Sanchez

        1. Camp No No
          11 years, 28 days ago

😆 I've twice not captained a "big hitter" both times it has paid off. No more armband for you, Kun!

          11 years, 28 days ago

But yeah, Sanchez a happy come back now. Pleased to have him although didn't captain him as there was this report of him getting a knock in training.
