let's all take a moment and acknowledge if not realize the fact that a world class player (although apparently not for sir alex who has his own definition of the term) is always going to outscore on the long run a good player that has just run into a bit of form and favorable conjuncture. I'm talking about Sanchez who, in a single game, has already recovered almost half of the points mahrez for example had ahead of him. Another game like this and everyone will forget about "the rest"

  If you only took the long run into account then you wouldnt do very well in FPL. Its a bit like the stock market - pick up the right players at the right time.

    maybe. But to be fair I will always prefer to have a silva or a sanchez take a spot in my team three weeks in a row even if they don't do so well in that period whereas a different player will score more in the same period, just so I don;t miss on moments like these when they arrive because I had a different player in my team either from a transfer or because I benched sanchez in favour of the in form player. Because everyone was talking how awful sanchez's form bla bla. Well, not the guys here, the media. Anyways, doing quite wel in UFPL, top 1k:D

1st hit of the season done. Been thinking I need a bit of Sanchez for a while and seemingly he's hit form now so didn't want to miss out any longer.

Last season I think I only took 3-5 hits all season and it served me well enough (overall rank 15). So feeling a bit stupid taking a hit but as I say I think Alexis is worth it in the long run.
