    Saw that Monreal got 2 assists today, he might be the Arsenal defender to have. Arsenal used to play a lot more down the right in the previous seasons and now they tend to play more on the left , which means Monreal gets in more attacking position this season than he used to. Plus he's pretty much nailed down his spot. Would consider him if I was on WC.

      Coincidental, they dont focus their attention specifically to either side. If anything, Bellerin is more attacking and better at it than Monreal, two random assists doesnt change that fact.

        I don't base my opinion exclusively on those 2 assists. Arsenal now play on the left much more than they did last season, which means more action for Monreal than Bellerin (compared to last season). Would be good to see a heat map though.

          Bellerin has been out a couple games and is just getting back into his stride. Monreal is mainly valued for his defensive capabilities, if you disagree with this statement and think hes a fine offensive fantasy pick, then i think this is where we part ways.

            Bellerin is more skilled and therefore better overall (because he's pretty amazing defensively as well)...so at 0.1m more you get skill, but not more points guaranteed. They do attack on the left more especially with Sanchez being the player that keeps the ball in his feet the most.

              Again, i disagree. And the reason why is every one of Arsenals midfielders are very interchangable, and even if Alexis is the go to guy, hes not always found on the left. Im not saying that Bellerin and Monreal are that far apart in FPL terms, but i dont agree with the logic.

                Nothing is guaranteed, of course, attacking results from defenders are mostly luck imo, but with things being moved to the left Monreal is going to get more and more dangerous in attack. I don't think he'll 100% outscore Bellerin long term, but there's a bigger chance than there was last year.

                You know, the right answer to this particular question can easily be verified, because we can check where Sanchez has had his touches to ball.

                It happens that they are massively on the left side of the pitch, and while he has drifted to central positions, he has almost no touches on the right side this season. Mostly only when he has taken a corner on right side, or played the short option for the corner taker. Clearly on the left side, thus.

                Also, 40% of Arsenal's attacks from left; 28% from right.

    I bought Wilson at 5.5 so now he's at 6m I can let him drop by 0.1 and still have SV of 5.7.

    Based on that, and Vardy looking likely to not quite rise tonight, il wait and see how Igalho does tomorrow I guess

      Maybe I'm wrong but Idon't think that's how it works

      If you bought him at 5.5 and he's now 6.0, his SV is 5.7.... but if he drops his sell value becomes 5.6

      As far as I can remembers it takes 0.2 rise to make 0.1 in SV but it doesn't work the other way around. Maybe I'm wrong,hopefully someone can clarify this

      Pretty expected downfall. They werent creating that many chances and both of them had incredibly high scoring % compared to actual big chances. Not sustainable.

    Not sure why people are picking Pelle over Vardy?

    Vardy seems to me to have the better form and fixtures.

    The double up with Mahrez doesn't really bother me, players score points on their own accord.

    Now i wanna do Wilson > Pelle but if i do that then i have no cash to potentially get in Mata, Sanchez or KDB so should i do Wilson > Igalo to enable me to then do Sterling/Pedro > Sanchez/Mata?

        You pick defenders in this game mainly for CS potential. Newcastle has about 5% of that each game. Him scoring a random goal and and getting an assist, while nice, doesnt make him a good pick.
