So I need to beat Nick of Oz in a head to head.

he has a whopping 111 with Fabianski to come

I have 102 with Mata, Sanchez & Davies to come

I have to catch him don't I? It doesn't seem right that either team should be losing a H2H. Monster scores

If I was going to beat him in the head I should have done it yesterday. Now would only help the other competition in the league.

A rankings rise of just over 1 million..
    Just what I needed- 1.27mill to 233k
90 Pts with Martial, Sanchez aiming to reach the Century.

The only blemish was KDB doing really well.
Have stuck with Silva but now wondering if I need to make that switch..

Think/Hope KDB is SLIGHTLY overrated.. He got his scores when the game was over and looked average enough up until then. (Are we allowed to say that here?)
Thinking about whether Silva will be a better pick all things considered once he picks up his fitness or if I should just make the switch over.

Missed the Price Rise so have some time to consider it all.

Team for next week, 2.0m in account, 1ft

    Butland,
    Dawson, Ward*, Kolarov
    Silva, Sanchez, Payet, Mahrez
    Martial, Ighalo, Aguero

    Schmeichel, Francis, Westwood, Richards

    Any changes recommended?

6, 11, 3, 6, 8 Silva's returns this season.. (Last game taken ashore early and not 100% fit)
3, 10, 7, 15 KDB (1st game taken ashore on 66 mins and not fully fit)

Not much in it tho... no??

    Hi guys,

    Did -4 to do Ighalo>Pelle and Hazard>Mane.

I had enough of hazard and lost 0.2 on him. Simply not consistent enough. Should i take any more hits to sort out defence?

    McCarthy, Hennessey
    Evans, Kolarov, Nyom, Gomez, Targett
    Mane, KdB, Sanchez, Mahrez, 4.3
    Aguero, Pelle, Martial

    Would appreciate some opinions

            This.

Having Ighalo and Wilson, and now Ighalo and Vardy will be very limiting when it comes time to swap to Soton, Everton and then United.

On a WC with Kompany out the sensible thing would be to get 3 City attackers for sure, but that 3 would mean no Sanchez

I concur. Just buy the best ones. They just end upo stealing each others points and they cannot all get maximum baps. If you spread the risk it improves it. Maybe triple up for a DGW of course

Nowhere close to unbelievable. Him leaving was profitable for both parties. He wouldn't have developed in Chelsea as he wasn't good enough. Wolfsburg was a blessing for him. Stop trying to put Mou down. When a man is down, the whole world will try to keep him down.

Definitely wasn't good enough. I've seen him play for us and before us. He has evolved in Wolfsburg. A crazy transformation. For the price we got it was a very good deal for both. Especially for Kevin as he has improved leaps and bounds. But criticizing Chelsea for that is wrong. Just because we're in a rut everyone is picking out various things out of the blue. We got the money, De Bruyne evolved and fair play to City for grabbing him up.

Not picking out Chelsea's faults because they're in a rut at all. I had the same opinion at the time KDB was at Chelsea as I do now.

I guess it's just opinion, and obviously a lot of people will have seen him play far more than I. But to me, he looked a fantastic prospect at Chelsea and I was genuinely excited about seeing him play more games for the team.

Was really disappointed when they let him leave. And just look at him now. It is just my opinion, but I'm of the belief that even if a player is not currently at the level of quality expected (which I personally believe KDB was at the time) a good manager should be able to see the potential and nurture that.

I think Mourinho made a mistake with KDB. At his best he's obviously a great manager. But instances such as this, and the multitude of problems he's had this season show he's not the Messiah many people make him out to be.

KDB wanted to leave. Mou was keen on keeping him. Its similar to the Pogba situation. Regarding Mou, I still have the faith in him and still believe he is the perfect man for us given the love he has for us. He is made out to be a Messiah coz the man has achieved things which one would only dream of. Porto and Inter achievements were crazy. The man has a thing for difficult challenges. He isn't a Guardiola who just goes to bigger teams. The man has quality and we shouldn't pass a judgement after 8 games.

Just looking at passes received for KDB and Silva in today's game, looks like KDB will be the one out wide and Silva will be behind Aguero when both are on the pitch.

KDB mostly received the ball out wide: http://www.fourfourtwo.com/statszone/8-2015/matches/803235/player-stats/61366/1_PASS_07#:Hl6oROWCPrGg_A

First half he received the ball on both flanks but rarely in the middle, then second half he was almost exclusively stationed on the left with Navas staying on the right after he came on.

On the other hand, Silva received the ball all over the place and frequently in the middle as well: http://www.fourfourtwo.com/statszone/8-2015/matches/803235/player-stats/20664/1_PASS_07#:qiFUOOekMzGg_A

Thing is he always cuts inside, so that position really suits KDB

The problem for Silva owners is one is incredibly direct and the other looks to link up play mostly.

        10 years, 9 months ago

I agree, this is just food for thought rather than anything to make a decision by. KDB definitely a better goal threat. The other interesting thing to take away is the introduction of Navas. I don't think it's just coincidence that City suddenly went goal crazy when he came on. He may not be the best on the ball but simply by staying extremely wide at all times he creates more space in the middle for Silva/KDB/Aguero to take advantage of.

Worth noting also that Silva frequently receives the ball in deeper positions whereas KDB is almost exclusively in the final third. As Zola says above, Silva looks to knit the play together more whereas KDB is all about creating and scoring goals.

Silva also makes those little runs to the box which will maintain is goal scoring exploits.

Pretty easy for me. -8 to fund replacing Wilson

            Skrtel + Wilson > Vardy + Francis
So far 11 in the + column on the direct swap. If Skrtel scores I will be down on the week but over long haul think the -8 will easily be repaid.
