Having started our look at the workloads of the key players over the international break with yesterday’s first instalment, we cast our eye over the remaining teams this evening, as we check in on players’ form, minutes played and match locations across the previous fortnight.

NEWCASTLE

Tim Krul’s season-ending injury gives Rob Elliot the chance to nail down the keeper’s jersey as the schedule turns kind for Steve McClaren’s side. Georginio Wijnaldum maintained his fine recent form with a goal for Holland, though Aleksandar Mitrovic’s discipline remains a real concern as he picked up another pair of bookings. Chancel Mbemba played both matches for DR Congo in Belgium, ensuring his fitness won’t be a concern.

Tim Krul, Vurnon Anita and Georginio Wijnaldum – Holland (10/10 (a) v Kazakhstan in Astana and 13/10 (h) v Czech Republic in Amsterdam) – Krul ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament in the 2-1 win against Kazakhstan, and has been ruled out for the rest of the season. Wijnaldum played all 180 minutes, and scored against Kazakhstan, but Anita was an unused substitute in both matches.
Chancel Mbemba – DR Congo (08/10 (a) v Nigeria in Vise and 12/10 (a) v Gabon in Mons) – Played all 180 minutes, and scored from 30 yards against Gabon to secure a 2-1 victory.
Moussa Sissoko – France (08/10 (h) v Armenia in Nice and 11/10 (a) v Denmark in Copenhagen) – Came off the bench to play 13 minutes against Armenia, and played the full 90 minutes against Denmark.
Aleksandar Mitrovic – Serbia (08/10 (a) v Albania in Elbasan and 11/10 (h) v Portugal in Belgrade) – Played the full match against Albania, and played 85 minutes against Portugal. His discipline problems continued though, with yellow cards picked up in both matches.

NORWICH

Alex Tettey displayed a rare eye for goal by scoring in both Norway’s matches over the break. Nathan Redmond and Dieumerci Mbokani were also in the goals – the latter will surely be pushing Cameron Jerome for a starting berth after netting in the previous Gameweek. Both Mbokani and Seb Bassong’s fixtures for DR Congo and Cameroon respectively took place in Belgium, meaning Alex Neil should have few concerns in terms of fatigue from long-haul flights.

Russell Martin, Steven Whittaker and Graham Dorrans – Scotland (08/10 (h) v Poland in Glasgow and 11/10 (a) v Gibraltar in São João da Venda) – Martin and Whittaker played the full 90 minutes against Poland, but the pair were unused substitutes against Gibraltar. Dorrans played six minutes as a substitute against Poland, and the full 90 minutes in Gibraltar.
Martin Olsson – Sweden (09/10 (a) v Liechtenstein in Vaduz and 12/10 (h) v Moldova in Solna) – 180 minutes.
Sebastian Bassong – Cameroon (11/10 (n) v Nigeria in Brussels) – Played 68 minutes in the 3-0 defeat.
Alex Tettey – Norway (10/10 (h) v Malta in Oslo and 13/10 (a) v Italy in Rome) – Played all 180 minutes, and scored in both matches.
Robbie Brady and Wes Hoolahan – Republic of Ireland (08/10 (h) v Germany in Dublin and 11/10 (a) v Poland in Warsaw) – Brady played every minute of both matches. Hoolahan played the full 90 minutes against Germany, but came off the bench against Poland to play 17 minutes.
Nathan Redmond – England U21s (13/10 (h) v Kazakhstan in Coventry) – Played the full 90 minutes, and got on the scoresheet in a 3-0 win.
Dieumerci Mbokani – DR Congo (08/10 (a) v Nigeria in Vise and 12/10 (a) v Gabon in Mons) – Played 82 minutes in the first match, and also scored in the 2-0 win, before coming on as a late sub against Gabon.
Kyle Lafferty – Northern Ireland (08/10 (h) v Greece in Belfast and 11/10 (a) v Finland in Helsinki) – Was suspended for the match against Greece, but played 79 minutes in the 1-1 draw in Finland.

SOUTHAMPTON

Sadio Mane, Victor Wanyama and Maya Yoshida faced long-haul flights back home after the recent internationals but returned in time for today’s training session – all three are expected to be in contention for the visit of Leicester this weekend. Steven Davis and Graziano Pelle carried on from where they left off against Chelsea in Gameweek 8 – the former netted twice for Northern Ireland, whilst Pelle bagged Italy’s winner over Norway. Shane Long is ruled out for two to four weeks after sustaining an ankle injury for the Republic of Ireland.

Cedric Soares and Jose Fonte – Portugal (08/10 (h) v Denmark in Braga and 11/10 (a) v Serbia in Belgrade) – Cedric Soares only played the full 90 minutes against Denmark. Fonte came on as a substitute in stoppage time against Denmark, before playing the full 90 minutes against Serbia.
Maya Yoshida – Japan (08/10 (a) v Syria in Muscat and 13/10 (a) v Iran in Tehran) – 180 minutes.
Matt Targett and James Ward-Prowse – England U21s (13/10 (h) v Kazakhstan in Coventry) – Both played the full 90 minutes.
Ryan Bertrand – England (09/10 (h) v Estonia in London and 12/10 (a) v Lithuania in Vilnius) – Only played the full match against Estonia.
Virgil van Dijk – Holland (10/10 (a) v Kazakhstan in Astana and 13/10 (h) v Czech Republic in Amsterdam) – Played 90 minutes against Kazakhstan, and 64 minutes against Czech Republic.
Steven Davis – Northern Ireland (08/10 (h) v Greece in Belfast and 11/10 (a) v Finland in Helsinki) – Played all 180 minutes, and scored twice in the 3-1 win against Greece.
Victor Wanyama – Kenya (07/10 (a) v Mauritius in Curepipe and 11/10 (h) v Mauritius in Nairobi) – 180 minutes.
Dusan Tadic – Serbia (08/10 (a) v Albania in Elbasan and 11/10 (h) v Portugal in Belgrade) – Played 54 minutes against Albania, and played the full 90 minutes against Portugal.
Shane Long – Republic of Ireland (08/10 (h) v Germany in Dublin and 11/10 (a) v Poland in Warsaw) – Came off the bench for the last 25 minutes to score the winner against Germany, but had to be substituted after 55 minutes against Poland because of an ankle injury, and is expected to be out for around two to four weeks.
Graziano Pelle – Italy (10/10 (a) v Azerbaijan in Baku and 13/10 (h) v Norway in Rome) – Played all 180 minutes, and scored in the 2-1 win against Norway.
Sadio Mane – Senegal (13/10 (a) v Algeria. Played full 90 minutes in 1-0 defeat.

STOKE

Xherdan Shaqiri recovered from a thigh injury to play 45 minutes for Switzerland over the break and, along with Marc Wilson, has been passed fit for the weekend. Marko Arnautovic continued his fine recent displays by netting in both Austria’s matches – the winger has produced returns in each of the last three Gameweeks. Geoff Cameron will need to be monitored after flying back from New Jersey after the USA’s clash against Costa Rica. Back-up stopper Shay Given is a worry after sustaining an ankle injury whilst on duty for the Republic of Ireland. Mame Biram Diouf will miss the trip to Swansea – the striker has been handed compassionate leave following the death of his mother.

Jack Butland – England (09/10 (h) v Estonia in London and 12/10 (a) v Lithuania in Vilnius) – Played 90 minutes against Lithuania.
Shay Given, Glenn Whelan and Jon Walters – Republic of Ireland (08/10 (h) v Germany in Dublin and 11/10 (a) v Poland in Warsaw) – Given was forced off after 44 minutes against Germany with a knee injury, Whelan only played 58 minutes against Poland, while Walters played all 180 minutes, and scored from the penalty spot in Warsaw.
Geoff Cameron – USA (11/10 (h) v Mexico in Los Angeles and 13/10 (h) v Costa Rica in New Jersey) – Played all 120 minutes against Mexico, but only played 45 minutes against Costa Rica.
Marko Arnautovic – Austria (09/10 (a) v Montenegro in Podgorica and 12/10 (h) v Liechtenstein in Vienna) – Played all 180 minutes, and continued his good form by getting on the scoresheet in both matches.
Xherdan Shaqiri – Switzerland (09/10 (h) v San Marino in St Gallen and 12/10 (a) v Estonia in Tallinn) – Only played 45 minutes against Estonia, but is available to face Swansea on Monday night.

SUNDERLAND

Steven Fletcher looks in pole position to start up front in Sam Allardyce’s first match in charge after netting four times for Scotland over the break. Ola Toivonen is struggling to shake off a groin injury sustained for Sweden, whilst DeAndre Yedlin faced a long-haul flight back from duties with the USA which could make him a concern for Allardyce.

DeAndre Yedlin – USA (11/10 (h) v Mexico in Los Angeles and 13/10 (h) v Costa Rica in New Jersey) – Played 42 minutes as a substitute against Mexico, before playing the full 90 minutes against Costa Rica.
John O’Shea – Republic of Ireland (08/10 (h) v Germany in Dublin and 11/10 (a) v Poland in Warsaw) – Played all 180 minutes, but was sent off in the dying moments against Poland.
Sebastian Larsson and Ola Toivonen – Sweden (09/10 (a) v Liechtenstein in Vaduz and 12/10 (h) v Moldova in Solna) – Larsson came off the bench to play 20 minutes against Liechtenstein, before playing 90 minutes against Moldova. Toivonen was limited to 32 minutes against Moldova, and is a major doubt for the trip to West Brom after picking up a groin injury.
Duncan Watmore – England U21s (13/10 (h) v Kazakhstan in Coventry) – Played 25 minutes as a substitute.
Steven Fletcher – Scotland (08/10 (h) v Poland in Glasgow and 11/10 (a) v Gibraltar in São João da Venda) – Played all 180 minutes, and scored in the 2-2 draw against Poland. Also netted a hat-trick in Gibraltar, while he also grabbed an assist in the 6-0 victory.

SWANSEA

Garry Monk will need to monitor both Ki Sung-yeung and Jefferson Montero, who faced long-haul flights back to Wales after featuring for South Korea and Ecuador respectively. Ki notched a spot-kick for his country and was joined on the scoresheet by Gylfi Sigurdsson, who played from start to finish in both Iceland’s matches.

Lukasz Fabianski – Poland (08/10 (a) v Scotland in Glasgow and 11/10 (h) v Republic of Ireland in Warsaw) – 180 minutes.
Ashley Williams and Neil Taylor – Wales (10/10 (a) v Bosnia-Herzegovina in Zenica and 13/10 (h) v Andorra in Cardiff) – Williams played all 180 minutes, while Taylor only played the match in Bosnia.
Ki Sung-yeung – South Korea (08/10 (a) v Kuwait in Kuwait city and 13/10 (h) v Jamaica in Seoul) – Played 178 minutes, and scored a penalty in the 3-0 win against Jamaica.

Eder – Portugal (08/10 (h) v Denmark in Braga and 11/10 (a) v Serbia in Belgrade) – Played just 33 minutes as a substitute against Serbia.

TOTTENHAM

Erik Lamela clocked up the air miles for Argentina, though the winger played just 22 minutes over his nation’s pair of matches. Harry Kane and Kyle Walker bagged an assist apiece in England’s win over Lithuania, whilst defensive trio Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen and Ben Davies played 180 minutes apiece. Danny Rose has been passed fit from a hand injury and will be pushing Davies for a start at left-back.

Hugo Lloris – France (08/10 (h) v Armenia in Nice and 11/10 (a) v Denmark in Copenhagen) – Only played the first match against Armenia.
Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen and Nacer Chadli – Belgium (10/10 (a) v Andorra in Andorra la Vella and 13/10 (h) v Israel in Brussels) – Alderweireld and Vertonghen both played all 180 minutes. Chadli only played 18 minutes as a substitute against Andorra.
Eric Dier – England U21s (13/10 (h) v Kazakhstan in Coventry) – 90 minutes.

Christian Eriksen – Denmark (08/10 (a) v Portugal in Braga and 11/10 (h) v France in Copenhagen) – Played 82 minutes in Portugal, and 61 minutes against France.
Erik Lamela – Argentina (09/10 (h) v Ecuador in Buenos Aires and 14/10 (a) v Paraguay in Asunción) – Only played 22 minutes off the bench against Paraguay.
Clinton N’Jie – Cameroon (11/10 (n) v Nigeria in Brussels) – 90 minutes.

WATFORD

Top scorer Odion Ighalo was in the goals again, netting in Nigeria’s win over Cameroon. Both his matches took place in Belgium, though, ensuring that there should be no major concerns over fatigue as Arsenal roll up to Vicarage Road at the weekend. Central defensive pairing Sebastian Prodl and Craig Cathcart played 180 minutes apiece, with the latter netting in Northern Ireland’s draw against Finland.

Giedrius Arlauskis – Lithuania (09/10 (a) v Slovenia in Ljubljana and 12/10 (h) v England in Vilnius) – Only played against England, and was unfortunate to score an own goal.
Jose Holebas – Greece (08/10 (a) v Northern Ireland in Belfast and 11/10 (h) v Hungary in Piraeus) – Played the full 90 minutes in Belfast, and came on as a substitute after 35 minutes against Hungary, and bagged an assist in the 4-3 win.

Odion Ighalo – Nigeria (08/10 (h) v DR Congo in Vise and 11/10 (n) v Cameroon in Brussels) – Played 64 minutes against DR Congo, and came on as a substitute after 73 minutes, and managed to score the third goal in a 3-0 victory.

WEST BROM

Tony Pulis will need to monitor the fitness levels of Venezuela’s Salomon Rondon and Costa Rica’s Cristian Gamboa, who both faced long-haul flights back from Brazil and the United States respectively. Rondon is the major concern, with Pulis already worried on the striker’s fatigue levels prior to the break. Darren Fletcher recovered from a knock to feature for Scotland, whilst Gareth McAuley and James Chester could start in central defence this weekend, with concerns remaining over Jonny Evans and Jonas Olsson.

Gareth McAuley and Chris Brunt – Northern Ireland (08/10 (h) v Greece in Belfast and 11/10 (a) v Finland in Helsinki) – Both played all 180 minutes.
James Chester – Wales (10/10 (a) v Bosnia-Herzegovina in Zenica and 13/10 (h) v Andorra in Cardiff) – Played 90 minutes against Andorra.
Cristian Gamboa – Costa Rica (09/10 (h) v South Africa in Liberia and 13/10 (a) v United States in New Jersey) – Played 90 minutes against South Africa, and 68 minutes against USA.

Serge Gnabry – Germany U21s (09/10 (h) v Finland in Essen and 13/10 (a) v Faroe Islands in Tórshavn) – Played 45 minutes in each match, and scored in the 6-0 win against Faroe Islands.
Salomon Rondon – Venezuela (08/10 (h) v Paraguay in Ciudad Guayana and 14/10 (a) v Brazil in Fortaleza) – Played 180 minutes, and will have little preparation time for Saturday’s home clash against Sunderland.

WEST HAM

Senegal pair Diafra Sakho and Cheikhou Kouyate faced a long-haul flight back home after playing away in Algeria on Tuesday evening. Back-up stopper Darren Randolph was unexpectedly handed pitch time for the Republic of Ireland after Shay Given was forced off through injury.

Darren Randolph – Republic of Ireland (08/10 (h) v Germany in Dublin and 11/10 (a) v Poland in Warsaw) – Played 46 minutes against Germany, and the full match in Poland.
Diafra Sakho – Senegal (13/10 (a) v Algeria. Played full 90 minutes in 1-0 defeat.

Playing Dugout FC and looking to ditch one of Cresswell or Defoe for another defender. Who is less likely to 'bring home the bacon' and should be dropped in your opinion?

    Sanchez (V) | KDB (C) | Mane | Mahrez
    Lukaku | Gomis | Sakho

    Fletcher | Huth | Richards | Ruddy

    Front 8 at the moment...
    Sanchez Mane Kdb Payet ____________
    Pelle Vardy _________

    A) Hazard + Ighalo (not totally convinced by Hazard but i get a cheap 8th attacker and i dont have to worry if Chelsea hit form)
    B) Wally + Lukaku (benching headaches but a VERY strong attack)
