          I do rate Ozil; he's definitely in the 'world class' bracket'. But Silva is just better IMO.

          Payet is a fantastic player. But Özil won't be able to do what Payet does at West Ham. He doesn't move enough, creates many chances and gets many assists but doesn't have a singular direct impact. Only a team boost.

                Think about it. Lots of the lesser sides have good technical playmakers eg Hoolhan or Mahrez who need benching on occasion to help the team have 11 behind the ball etc.

                Not saying he's not good. Just not a roaring 42m success best number 10 in the world hype. He plays in a team I would get assists in!

                  It's fair enough if you don't think he's not worth the £42m, and fair enough if you don't think he's the best 10. (I think he's the best after Silva, although he's the better chance creator), but to say he'd struggle in a lesser side seems to be really undermining his qualities. Yes Mahrez and Hoolahan are sometimes benched, but they are light years away in terms of 'luxury players'.

                    Well I'm using them to highlight my point.

                    Ozil in this form is a joy to watch for sure but he has lacked this consistency for a while.

                    He was world class then dipped massively and his clawing his way back, and this moment I'm still not sold on him and still think there is more to come.

                    Its disappointment that I feel as I thought he would smash our league apart and he hasn't up to this point.

                      He's certainly had his ups and downs, but through a mixture of injuries, getting used to the league, and the team around him, it's understandable. When Theo got injured, our starting lineup became:

                      Giroud
                      Caz Ozil Rosicky
                      Arteta Ramsey

                      Absolutely nobody made any runs in behind. It's like buying Andy Carroll and play tip-tap football.

                      But since the introduction of pace in the team, he has been consistently exceptional. This run of form stretches back 10 months since he came back from injury last year.

            I can understand the 'team boost' aspect, although I disagree that due to play style he wouldn't be as good.

            But the 'doesn't move enough' is just wrong. He cover 10km's+ a game, more than Willian for comparison.

                        If that is so, the inverse is probably also true, that Ancelotti had no say over who was sold either.

                        I think there must have been some understanding that Ancelotti wanted to go 433 with ALonso, Khedira and Modric initially before Khedira got injured, so there was no need for a 10.

                        The fact that Perez was booed by the notoriously difficult to please Madrid fans for selling Ozil tells you all you need to know.

    Rival in my league played his AOA chip this week, he has Sturridge and defenders on the bench that will play.

          I think that Cathcart and Dawson both have a chance of a cleanie.

          It could backfire.

          I would personally bench Mahrez for Dawson.

        Decent moves, though I don't think Pelle -> Costa is worth it. Pelle's got a great couple of fixtures coming up and I'm honestly happier owning him than Costa the way Chelsea are playing atm.
