Gameweek 10’s send-off pits Liverpool against Southampton at Anfield. Jurgen Klopp oversaw a 0-0 draw away to Tottenham in his first match at the helm, while Saints might still be ruing what could’ve been after surrendering a two-goal lead against Leicester City.

The Reds ranked third for attempts (69) and shots on target (26) over the last four Gameweeks, yet harvested just five goals. It’s hardly surprising, then, that Watford (5.4%) are the only outfit with an inferior shot-conversion rate than the Merseysiders (6.1%) this term. On a more positive note, Klopp will draw encouragement from the fact that only West Bromwich Albion (22) and Manchester City (21) conceded fewer shots inside the box (23) over that period.

Southampton are unbeaten on their travels this season and recorded a sensational 3-1 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. The south-coast club rank bottom for shots inside the box conceded in away matches (21), while only Crystal Palace (one) allowed fewer big chances (two). Their shot frequency on the road (one every 6.8 minutes) is excellent, too – only three sides fired off attempts with greater regularity.

    I've got 3 options, I'd say

    A) Haz and Ighalo > Barkley and Lukaku
    B) Haz and Pelle to KdB and Lukaku
    C) Just Haz to KdB and save 1 FT

    Any of these stand out?

Yeah I can see why you want a city player but I think sterling is the wrong way to go personally.

He's performed once this season and is prone to early substitution. If you go that way, good luck (as a Sterling owner I mean it!). He'll be gone for Ozil when I get chance but I have to give him NOR that's for sure

Fair play for Allardyce to ask for that rule change, but this:

"Everyone's done a job, the players on the pitch and me, tactically setting them out." lol, sure, a job, and bad job as that. Just got fecking lucky. Had the rule been as Allardyce wants, they would have never won that match.

There was a farmer who had a horse and a goat…..

One day, the horse became ill and he called the veterinarian, who said: Well, your horse has a virus. He must take this medicine for three days. I'll come back on the 3rd day and if he's not better, we're going to have to put him down.

Nearby, the goat listened closely to their conversation.

The next day, they gave him the medicine and left.

The goat approached the horse and said: - Be strong, my friend. Get up or else they're going to put you to sleep!

On the second day, they gave him the medicine and left.

The goat came back and said: - Come on buddy, get up or else you're going to die! Come on, I'll help you get up.
      Let's go! One, two, three...

On the third day, they came to give him the medicine and the vet said:- Unfortunately, we're going to have to put him down tomorrow. Otherwise, the virus might spread and infect the other horses.

After they left, the goat approached the horse and said: Listen pal, it's now or never! Get up, come on! Have courage! Come on! Get up! Get up! That's it, slowly! Great! Come on, one, two, three... Good, good. Now faster, come on...... Fantastic! Run, run more!
Yes! Yay! Yes! You did it, you're a champion!!!

All of a sudden, the owner came back, saw the horse running in the field and began shouting: It's a miracle! My horse is cured. We must have a grand party. Let's Cook the goat!!!!

The Kane hat trick feels too much like Sterling's. Both have picked up the odd point and we know what they are capable, but they haven't showed some strong continuous form.

If he scores well in the next few weeks I will consider him, but I don't really want him based off just the one game.

        You sure about that?

If you look at past instances, was I right? Sterling didn't produce, nor did Wijnaldum. Of course, they could score well yet, but they didn't following their haul because they didn't have the form to continue scoring well.

Welll yeah that may well be more true for mids.

But with Kane he had the stats just not the goals, he's upfront on his own which is FPL gold (because of Son's injury) and Lamela and Erikson have turned up to the assist party.

I don't appreciate comments like your initial one, especially when most of what I post on this site is helpful, reinforced information.

Bony is another example who didn't replicate his performance. This could be out down the the fixture but I've warned people off him for various reasons.

Kane doesn't have the form right now to warrant a place in my team, plenty of strikers out there who tick all the boxes.
