he got a goal and 2 assists vs. chelsea and scored vs. Everton. Failed to score against WBA and Watford (both 0-0 which suggests it was more of an issue with the whole team than just him)

WAT remain a good source of cs so you could select Ake 4.4 who has played the last 4 games.

Toby could be Simpson 4.0 who has played the last 5. He would be your 5th defender that you would probably never play. An enabler in the truest sense.

Any thoughts on when ppl plan to use their chips?

DGW - triple captain for me
Bench boost - probably second wildcard, with bench tailored slightly accordingly
All out attack - when I buy a decent 5th mid during a time of spare cash (like now wih Kun inj)

Bench boost and triple captain for dgw's. Should be 2 dgw's with fa cup semis and capital cup final. Used aoa this week, benched Bertrand and played payet!! Worked well!!

Did AOA this GW otherwise I'd have had to bench Ayoze.

Can't see me being able to make it worthwhile when Aguero is back as my bench will be poor.

        • 10 Years

I had similar thoughts, but played AOA last week as thought more chance of Ayoze scoring against Stoke at home. So annoying to have Ayoze on my bench this week! I need Kun back so I can avoid these sort of decisions.

That's unlucky... It was a rage AOA move after he blanked vs Sunderland and Stoke, and thankfully it paid off. Perhaps benching Payet was the alternative but that would've been ballsy at home.

Do you have Lukaku? Am considering a Vardy, Aguero, Lukaku front line in a couple of weeks. Ayoze is great for a 352 though.

too reliant on gomis and a tribe of midfielders who just aren't quite good enought to take on a scoring mantle-ki shelvey and the sig
need to concentrate on how they can employ monteros and barrows skills properly
      and increase the squad size

Best Payet replacement if he's confirmed out?

Already have KdB, Sanchez and Mahrez.

    A) Ozil

    B) Barkley

    C) Mata

    D) Mane

So, am I the only one thinking it's time to ship Kolarov?
Does not get that many cleanies these days, nor attacking returns, fixtures getting tough, and Clichy awaiting. Now is the time I probably can make most cash on him.

Sadly though I do have other problems to attend (Payet, Naughton, Pelle, Begovich), so looking at my priorities.

Yep, Liverpool don't really have anyone similar to him now that Sterling has gone. I think he will either start or come on from the bench most games and has a genuine attacking threat,

Interesting to see what Remi Gardé does with Sinclair. Sherwood gave up on him.

It used to be just the period around 11th Nov and nearest weekend (Rememberence Sunday), but it does seem to have started a lot earlier in recent years. Not sure if that's to raise more money for the British Legion or the fact that society has become a bit more appreciative of the sacrifice of soldiers given the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Who to get for my premium defender spot? Others are Rojo, Moreno, Dawson Morgan. Keepers Butland and Hennesey.

    A. Arsenal: Bellerin/Koscielny
    B. Southampton: VvD/Berty
    C. Chelsea: Azpi (those fixtures...)

A because of easier fixtures. Koscielny tends to get injured often. I'd go Bellerin or Monreal.

    Early thoughts here?

    A) Kolarov -> Ward (building cash for Kun)
    B) Simpson -> Ward (enables benching a SOT attacker in GW14, mcy)
    C) KDB -> Hazard 😯 (granted, a left field move, but those CHE fixtures are superb and surely they have to turn a corner soon. Oh and Hazard looked lively yesterday)

    DDG
    Bellerin, Kolarov, VVD
    Sanchez, KDB, Mane, Mahrez
    Lukaku, Bony, Pelle

    Hennessey, Simpson, Moreno, Surman

Hazard can look as lively as he wants, but Chelsea just aren't attacking well. Think how many games Chelsea won 1-0 last year. Teams sat back which allowed Costa to boss the centre backs and the likes of Oscar, Fabregas, Willian to always be on the edge of the oppositions box.

This season, a few defeats and teams are coming out a bit more. Costa isn't showing for any runs in behind and Chelsea are proving quite straightforward to defend against. Only takes a few defensive slips and those 1-0 wins become draws or defeats.

I'd save your FT then downgrade Pelle next week.

I agree wholeheartedly with what you are saying - boarding the Hazard train/tuk tuk would be a huge leap of faith. I'm most likely going to get Ward, but I do fancy CHE to stick a couple past NOR, and Hazard did show some promising signs last night. Oh and I have 2FT so need to use one.

Slaven Bilic is hopeful that Dimitri Payet and Enner Valencia will be fighting fit for West Ham after the international break, despite going off injured in the 1-1 Premier League draw against Everton on Saturday.

Payet was able to walk off when he sustained an injury five minutes into the second half of the match at Upton Park, but his replacement Valencia needed a stretcher when he went down in the 69th minute.

He said: "I don't know about Payet or Valencia. We will have to wait on the scans.
"I am not a doctor, but I am optimistic that they will both be ready for the Tottenham game."
