Having assessed the stand-out Defenders over the last four Gameweeks yesterday evening, we now turn our attentions to the centre of the park. Arsenal, Tottenham and Bournemouth’s playmakers feature in our analysis, whilst we also take a look at some in-form protagonists from Everton, Liverpool, Man City and Newcastle as the search for a Dimitri Payet replacement intensifies.
-
Jeez - Dzeko is really slow if Keogh can outpace him
-
Class>Pace
-
I'd still give both my nads to have him playing up top for Ireland
-
-
Lagerbäck claims the presidentship again....
-
Is Siggy saving himself for Iceland matches (albeit a lowet level)? Wonder do some players take it handier in club games.
-
No, Iceland best player and has almost all set pieces for Iceland but has lost those duties at Swansea.
-
-
Is the Brazil vs Argentina game refixed for tonight?
-
Yes - midnight
-
Is it fixed???
-
Neymar is going down in the 5th I heard
-
Great, wish I had that credit card now......
-
And every subsequent minute no doubt.
-
-
-
-
Another KDB assist that is 😀
-
Proud non-seller here. B|
-
He always delivers 😀
-
-
-
Can anyone understand why Delph is playing?
-
He is sneaky.
-
He is full time England player now.. signed up for them last summer.
-
Has photos of Roy in frilly knickers.
-
Or that.. lol
-
-
-
Even Delph can't understand why Delph is playing.
-
They are going for the Delph and safety approach
-
-
Can Greece score aginst anyone....
-
Delph is so poor. Makes Carrick look pretty good...
-
Vertonghen bandwagon
-
Sigh...It's happened again...Wife and kids watching Children in need...(grumble, mutter, grumble)
-
And no Wogan!
-
A very worthwhile charity
-
It certainly is.
I bet you're watching the football though...-
Tele isn't on, I'm eating. I'm guessing Spain vs England is ttack vs defence training match?
-
It's attack vs inept passing at the moment.
-
Sounds thrilling, I'll put it on 😉 😀
-
-
-
-
-
2 tv:s??? In future maybe?
-
...Is it on normal telly ?...not SKY?
-
ITV as usual.
-
Brill....on it now...I thought it was on SKY...
-
-
Oh, I would not know as I'm Swedish....
Can understand that could be a problem though, damn cabel companys.
-
-
-
Did you ever make it to Hants or Dorset, Winston?
-
Oh aye...we had a fantastic time..really good...
-
That's good. Did you get to any spots from the email?
-
Yeah...we did...errr, let me think...The blue pool, Portsmouth dock, that little place that was a medieval port, Sandbanks, The tank museum, A drive around the new forest...
Loads of stuff...Poole is in a fantastic area for seeing stuff..-
Ah excellent! Glad it went well!
-
Camp site was in a great spot BK...right at the back of Poole harbour
-
Perfect. I'm seeing a new girl in Dorset now, I really like it there. Like you say, there's so much around it to see you and do.
-
*see and do.
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
Never known someone to be so whipped.
-
-
So mane scored for Senegal. Didn't realise they had already played
-
oh that's good. I thought he was injured.
-
-
With that KDB assist, my team has already done better on the international break than it did in game week 12. Form of its life.
-
Is Fabregas Spain's best left winger? :O
-
Spain-England is on TV so i'll see the PL players getting injured live, that's great!
-
Stephen Ward LB for Ireland..Remember when he played a few times up top for Wolves? 🙂 Some even captained him
-
Love it when they throw a defender up top
(for the potential 6pt goal, obviously. not for any romantic footballing reasons)-
I remember the week most lumped on him he was a 1 point (c) He was only 4.5m maybe even less OOP Fpl gold 🙂
-
-
Good player, surprised he's not getting club gametime.
-
-
Diego Costa. 2014-2014. RIP.
-
What? Costa looks pretty sharp.
-
That doesn't make any sense...he scored goals with Atletico before 2014 and in 2015 with Chelsea.
-
2013-2015* ?
-
-
-
SÁNCHEZ - PAYET - Sterling - Mahrez - Westwood
Vardy - Pellè - MARTIAL
I have Cech, Bellerín and Sánchez; to bring Ozil IN I have to sell one of them, so...
A) Bellerín and Payet to Someone and Ozil (Keep Martial)
B) Payet and Martial to Mané and Lukaku
A or B?? -
If only Varane and Koscielny could play together for Arsenal in the future. No chance though.
-
Maybe for Real Madrid? 😉
-
That would be a disaster! Koscielny is Arsenal's most important player.
-
-
Yeah would have been great but smalling and Jones are playing for united 😎 .
-
Smalling has been incredible for a season and a half now. I like the Blind-Smalling pairing.
-
Me too . Jones doesn't seem reliable
-
-
-
They need proper striker more.
-
They need more steel first. Too weak sometimes at the back and in midfield.
-
-
-
😯
-
Cazorla on. Mata owners pleased.
-
No rest for Cazorla. :/
-
Like Bertrand a lot. Think I will get him in on the WC over VanDijk. VD is quality obv, but I think Berty wil get forward more consistently for assists.
-
Quality player.
-
Won't score though.
-
Two assists the last two weeks worked for my team.
-
I'm pleased for you.
-
-
yeah its a toss up between [3] assists + baps in 12 games vs. [2] goals baps in 12 games
example numbers, obv, but that is the kind of decision to make.
who have you gone for? if any? who are you normally?-
I have neither but not because I don't want one.
I would probably go for VvD for his lovely baps and goal threat. Full backs seem to get booked also.
I think Bertrand is a great prospect though especially if the extra funds are needed.
-
-
-
I'm BAP magnet, see me scoring some headers for fun.
-
-
Thiago injured again?
-
Both Spanish and English fans booing Pique relentlessly. That must be something. 😀
-
What's the booing for?
-
Shaquira jealousy.
-
He's a good looking guy. Not surprised they're jealous.
-
-
Catalunyan and Spanish in the same time.
-
His open support for Catalunya.
-
He really publicly ripped into Madrid after winning a title. So most of non-Catalunya Spain hates him now.
-
-
-
Costa close
-
Anyone watching the Belgium game? Hazard playing well?
-
Probably not.
-
-
Can't see Bosnia not scoring in this game.
-
You'd think they'd score in this fixture every time it's played in all fairness.
-
Have you seen them score?
-
Saw them beat Cyprus. 🙂
-
-
-
Great game Belgium vs Italy
-
What's the latest?
-
Plenty of action
-
Thanks for the match report.
-
😀
Pelle got an assist because of awful defending from Belgium
Verthongen scored on a corner taken by KDB
Lukaku almost scored as well-
Thanks, sounds good. Enjoy!
-
That's the only thing Lukaku did so far btw 😀
But then again... he never plays good for Belgium, different style of playing than Everton
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
Firmino also nets as Liverpool defeat Wolves 3-2 in behind-closed-doors friendly
Firmiiiinhoooooo waaaagooooon-
Wolverhampton Wanderers
-
My concern is that they conceded 2 goals to Wolves.
-
-
South African officials have arrived in Thailand for the FIFSA Qualifications draw
-
Did they bring Tokyo Sex Whale?
-
Have you remembered the brown envelope?
-
Enjoy it while you can you won't be there come the knockout rounds 😉
-
banter on next page now
