Sneaking in late like John Terry in a triumphant team photo, Granville gatecrashes this week’s ScoutCast after we drafted in Andy85WSM as his able replacement.

Andy tag teams with Jonty and myself as we look back ten days at the long forgotten Gameweek 12, before grappling with another round of posers from the community.

We cast tentative votes on the Aguero debate, assess Lukaku’s armband credentials, check that we really can write off Chelsea and question whether time is up for Sanchez in the light of Ozil’s streak of assists.

After all that, Granville parachutes in and we get a few minutes to gloat over his injury-ravaged squad. A worthy cameo contribution.

This episode of the ScoutCast was recorded and broadcast live on Wednesday evening, published via our YouTube channel.

            cant underestimate the importance of a dirt cheap defender u can just put last on ur bench and forget he even exists.. but if needed is getting a fair amount of football too

              I agree, had Huth, Mings, Ward & Kaboul to start the season, not the most inspired choices I admit.Strengthened my defence in WC and my defence points over the last few gameweeks have saved me from disappearing too far down the rankings.
              But do need to downgrade at least 1.

      C & E, I'd bench Cedric simply because of his unreliability to start now. I see a higher chance of a CS in the Saints game than Chelsea tbh, Stoke's attack has been piss poor of late & they've only scored 10 goals this season, tied with Wba & Avl as the lowest scoring.

        Not sure that their returns in their previous six game weeks were hype, but maybe we came in at the end of a purple patch.

      Suppose it just depends on whether or not i want to keep KDB, would you keep him if you had the choice? Or prefer Silva anyway?

            Fair enough. I'd probably do A as I think Hennessey will score more points than Butland looking at upcoming fixtures, whereas KDB and Silva is 50/50, but meh either way 🙂

        Look at Southampton's next 6 fixtures and look at Everton's next 6 fixtures - Lukaku should score way more than 4 points more than Pelle all being normal.

        I did. Wasn't my favorite of your pieces, to be honest, but some decent stats. I think the exercise of trying to "replace" Payet with one of the Palace players was an impossible story to tell to begin with. But, tough to please someone who watches every Palace game with a fine tooth comb 🙂

          Ha, no worries. Yeah, the stats didn't really lead to a clear narrative. What I've found with all the players I've looked at during the internartional break is that there isn't really anyone cheaper than Payet that is a match for Payet.
