It’s time to turn up the heat on Granville. After Harry Kane obliged with a 26-point armband return, I’ve clawed back the gap on my mancunian rival, who now sits just three points ahead in our “very personal” battle.

With the flame lit on our age-old duel, the ScoutCast is revived to resemble the days gone by, with Granville wriggling uncomfortably as we spar throughout. Jonty is on hand to mediate, taking a few blows of his own, with Granville lashing out blindly.

Around the melee, we take in another round of “rough with the smooth” and digest a slew of community questions. We chat Aguero Vs Kane, consider the merits of showing Sanchez and De Bruyne the door, and scribe our Christmas Fantasy Football wishlist.

    Kane or Kun...simple question

    Kun:
    - returning from injury
    - would be hauled off before 90 mins in most games
    - on pens
    - focal point of attack but team has other goal scorers (kdb, sterling, yaya)
    - super explosive so great captain choice
    - city are a very attacking team esp once silva is fit

    Kane
    - no gametime risk
    - focal point of attack (few other goalscorers in team)
    - 4m cheaper
    - on pens?
    - spurs not as good as mci from an offensive point of view
    - less of a cpt choice then kun

      What one does with the extra money by getting kane is the key here. Making a decision in isolation is difficult.

      on current form its clearly kane who is the best bet specifically with almost an extra 4m to spend its crystal clear to me that kane + 4 mil is better than aguero ( especially when hes not 100% fit)

      I'd be tempted to say go for it.

      Newcastle are pretty rubbish, but Wij is capable of decent scores, so there is always a risk there, but Ozil is much better long term, and has a good match-up this weekend, so could score big also.

      Well you've taken Moreno although Pool haven't had any hint of defensive solidity yet. His attacking returns haven't been great either.
      You don't want Leicester cover but u've taken Simpson who although is a 4 mil player, may likely play in ur team if winter rotations and match cancellations occur.

    Mane or Ayew > Barkley worth a hit lads?

    Don't have any other Everton attack. FT was Pelle > Aguero.

    Both Mane and Ayew have bad fixtures. Mane has bad form, Swansea as a team have bad form. Barkley has good personal and team form, as well as fixtures...very tempted.

    Mane frees up abit more cash if I were to do the move.

      I'd probably rather have WBA defence against West Ham than Southampton against City.

      But it's tough, because City comes out of a difficult Wednesday match at Torino, and there is some chance that Pulis _may_ decide to go on attack for the win against Hammers if he doesn't rate them that much.

        Yes this is a fair point. I got Mata in last week on my WC hoping that now Martial has moved up top and LVG admitted his attacking weakness that things might change. But it looks like it will take time as you say.
