Alexis Sanchez is expected to shrug off a minor hamstring niggle for Arsenalโ€™s trip to Norwich. Daniel Sturridge is set for scans after picking up a foot problem in training, Roberto Martinez will make a late call on Leighton Bainesโ€™ availability, whilst Stoke have concerns over Phillip Wollscheid for the trip to Sunderland.

Arsene Wenger has admitted that Alexis Sanchez had โ€œa little hamstring alarmโ€ but went on to concede โ€œโ€it might not be the best moment to rest Alexisโ€ for the trip to Norwich. Joel Campbell will also be assessed after picking up a minor calf complaint in the 3-0 victory over Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain โ€œshouldโ€ be available for the Gunners, having returned to training following his hamstring injury, though Theo Walcott remains sidelined.

Daniel Sturridge is feared to have picked up another injury ahead of Liverpoolโ€™s clash with Bordeaux last night. The forward is now set for scans on a foot problem sustained during training. Martin Skrtel recovered from illness and was an unused sub in the 2-1 win at Anfield.

Jores Okore is available again after recovering from a knee injury, but Remi Garde has left Jack Grealish out of the squad to face Watford after the midfielder was seen partying just hours after the heavy 4-0 defeat to Everton. Gabriel Agbonlahor is still a doubt for the Villans with a calf complaint.

Watford will once again be without Sebastian Prodl for the trip to Villa Park, with the defender nursing a calf injury. Midfielder Valon Behrami may be able to play some part though, with the Swiss international back in training after a kick to the knee before last weekendโ€™s clash against Man United.

Phil Jones and Ander Herrera are still sidelined for Man Unitedโ€™s clash with Leicester, Louis van Gaal confirmed earlier this morning.

Roberto Martinez will decide later today whether to include Leighton Baines in the Everton squad for the trip to Bournemouth. The left-back has yet to figure this season having undergone ankle surgery during the summer.

Southamptonโ€™s Jay Rodriguez has been ruled out for between six and eight weeks after undergoing surgery to try and cure his longstanding foot issues. Graziano Pelle is suspended for the trip to the Etihad this weekend, with Shane Long expected to take the Italianโ€™s place in attack.

Sam Allardyce is hopeful that both Jermain Defoe and Fabio Borini will be fit to face Stoke, with the former expected to keep his place in the starting XI after scoring the winner at Crystal Palace on Monday night.

Philipp Wollscheid is an injury concern for Stoke ahead of their trip to the Stadium of Light, with the German centre-back unable to train yesterday because of a pelvis injury. Geoff Cameron is on standby for the Potters.

Jamie Vardy is fit for Leicester ahead of the huge home encounter against Man United. The England international will be attempting to set a new Premier League record by scoring in 11 consecutive matches.

West Hamโ€™s Pedro Obiang has recovered from a thigh injury, and could replace the suspended Mark Noble in midfield against West Brom on Sunday. Alex Song made his comeback from injury against Tottenham though, and could get the nod ahead of the former Sampdoria midfielder in the middle of the park.

Norwich captain Russell Martin will return to the squad for the visit of Arsenal after missing last weekโ€™s loss at Chelsea due to personal reasons. Midfielder Alex Tettey misses out once again, though, with the Norway international carrying a thigh injury.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrowโ€™s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Friday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

      Mane

No Pelle probably means he will get a freer role. No Hart and Kompany means a very leaky City defence. Also, Mane tends to like playing against the bigger teams.

Advice please on below. No free transfers left. Front 8 of:

    Sanchez, KDB, Mane, Mahrez, Alli
    Kane, Lukaku, Vardy

    Should I

    A) Mane to Ozil -4. I have the exact cash for this so won't be able to do it later down the line
    B) Mane to Coutinho -4 (if we hear something today)
    C) Stick

I had to be part of it as well. Even beyond my love for Arsenal, been a fan of that guy for years. Got to say, Real Madrid's downfall in the last two seasons has to be partly because of the lack of a keen passer as a no 10.

About Schneiderlin? An injury to Coquelin, their only good DM, was horribly predictable. Now they're left with Arteta and Flamini...they're trying to win the league!

Actually, just checked, he's played 60+ in 10 games, and they have 7 CS in those. One of the ones he didn't play (bizarrely) was the 3-0 loss to Arsenal. That is not a coincidence either.

No no no, when you wish to deal with a well organised and tricky midfield the answer is to employ a 34 year old and a 31 year old. This is the philosophy, this is love.

                      1. Well, I think that it is madness.

                2. Well, last Season, Harrison Reed did a lot of the actual work.

This Season, Schneiderlin has hardly troubled the scorers.

May be because of a different "Filoshofee", but still ...

? Harrison Reed featured in 7 games last season.

                    1. Indeed. And he was Southampton's star destructive force during those seven games. Otherwise, it was Wanyama.

Schneiderlin is better than Arteta and Flamini is my point tho

                        Coq is miles better

Hmmm. Wanyama had one more tackle than Schneiderlin last season and his passing was quite inferior. Morgan played more box to box than him, and still posted a very similar tackling profile. He also put in a higher number of tackles per game than Coq, Matic and Fernandinho as well as a better pass accuracy than all 3 and more interceptions per game than Matic and Fernandinho (Coquelin managed 3.7 to his 2.6)

Coquelin is a better player, sure, but Schneiderlin would have 10 times better than Arteta or Flamini, and with the amount of games we play each season, the two players would have meant neither would get an injury.

Both those together are moreorless the same price as one Aguero, and the former two have well over double his points and potential, what more you want?

I believe they have a limited edition one called Harry Kane for £9.5m if you're interested.

Howdy pardners! On a wild(west)card and already done these, er, nugget moves:

    Butland > Pantilmon
Bellerin, van Dijk, Ward > Moreno, Zouma, Simpson
Sanchez, de Bruyne, Anya > Coutinho, Barkley, King
    Vardy, Ighalo > Aguero, Kane

    Already have:

Myhill, Smalling, Kolarov, Ozil, Mahrez, Lukaku

    Thoughts 'preciated

Any other wildcarders? How are your team shaping up?

o/ I have drafted 2 teams and am trying to decide between them. Both feature Kun.

      Butland/Darlow
      Rojo/Alde/Moreno/Simpson/Bennett
      Sanchez/Ozil/Coutinho/Mahrez/Surman
      Aguero/Kane/Lukaku

      DDG/Hennessey
      Bellerin/Alde/Moreno/Dawson/Nyom
      Sanchez/Ozil/Lanzini/Mahrez/Gosling
      Aguero/Kane/Lukaku

Both look good, I prefer the second one. I would love having Kun but getting rid of Vardy (13 goals and 1 assist in 13 games) seems so mental. At that price as well...

Yep, ditching Vardy is a huge call, and it feels completely wrong, but I gambled and did it.It is a massive risk though.

At the same time, not having Kun is a big gamble too.. Perhaps we should leave out Lukaku and cover him with Barkley/Deulofeu or even both short-term ๐Ÿ˜€

Ha you can go ahead with that one Whazza, I won't be joining you ๐Ÿ˜‰ You can't cover Lukaku's points, every one of our attacks goes through him, he's almost guaranteed to be involved.

Just brainstorming really.. I still feel Kane, Vardy and Kun might be more involved in their teams' goals than Lukaku. Barkley and Deulo would get you some goals and assists + Kone will "steal" some Lukaku points
